The product arrived broken. It’s been 2 weeks, they had no more stock and they are yet to collect or refund.

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, but we’d like to clarify the situation.
After you reported the item as damaged, we offered a partial refund so you could source a replacement piece of perspex locally, as the product has been discontinued and we no longer have stock available. This option was declined, and you requested to return the item for a full refund.
We arranged a DPD collection on a date you confirmed was convenient. DPD did attend; however, no one was available at the property at the time.
This is supported by GPS tracking and photographic evidence from the driver. Unfortunately, we were still charged for this failed collection, which we have covered.
We are still happy to provide a full refund once the item has been returned to us.
Please contact us directly so we can provide the return details and resolve this for you as quickly as possible.

Reformed opinion.
I initially left a negative review and I am very happy to rectify that. DJ Shop sorted a problem, which I gather was not necessarily of their making(?) It was worth having a problem to just to find how decent the guys are.
They were really helpful, friendly and dealt with everything straight away. Going by their standards they will be my go-to shop. You know when the DJ teases the crowd and just at the right moment slips in that remix everyone is talking about but not heard; and the floor goes crazy: DJ Shop magic.

DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!! Terrible prices, slow and rude customer service.
I ordered a Neo XLR cable for my high end dj equipment and monitor speakers. I had to deal with 6 months of an unbearable high pitched noise and buzz before I finally narrowed it down to the wires. And for context I have been back and forth with multiple shops over all my items as I was unsure what the fault was.
I narrowed it down to the xlr cables. Contacted the DJ shop. My item has 1 year warranty so I was well within their uptight terms and conditions. I contacted them regarding this fault and I was met with nothing but negativity and hostility as if I was a liar. All my dj equipment was brand new, hence why it’s taken my 6 months to figure out with item was faulty. Nothing was faulty except that xlr cable. And it was faulty from the start. Not sure what equipment you’re testing the cable on but clearly nothing good. I have since gotten upgraded xlr cables and the noise is gone!!!! It’s a miracle. I, of course, did not get the upgrade cable from this shop because they denied there being a fault. When there most definitely is.
I contacted Sam on the 26th of January, and he failed to answer my question regarding shipping. He said all I need to do is send the item to them and they will do the rest. Implying that they will return it to me. If I was told I would need to pay the returns fee also then I would never have bothered. Now they have my broken wires and will most likely sell it on again because they know I will never drive down to England to get it. I’m from Scottish highlands and to pay postage both ways for this item would equal a higher price than just buying new cables… and this shop had the audacity to tell me to just drive down and get it then… how rude of them. To even tell me to drive down angered me beyond belief. How horrible of a customer service.
And now I’m battling to even keep my negative review up as they keep flagging it and forcing me to edit. My cable was 1000% causing the issue as my new cable solved the 6 month problem. No where does it say on their website that redeliveries for returns must also be paid… Nor was I informed about their delivery policy when I asked about it on 26th January. It was Sam who I spoke to and he was beyond rude and unhelpful. I’ve never spoken to a company that responded to me so bluntly, especially when I was nothing but nice and polite to them.
I will never shop here and I suggest you do the same. You will find much better prices elsewhere and will receive much better customer service elsewhere. This shop has fine small print policies and will not honour the 1 year warranty. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!!

We dispute the claims made in this review, which contain multiple inaccuracies.
The cable in question was returned to us and tested thoroughly using appropriate equipment. No fault was identified. To ensure impartiality, the item was also tested by the manufacturer, who likewise confirmed that it is fully functional. On this basis, we cannot classify the item as faulty or provide a replacement under warranty.
While the customer believes the cable caused their issue, this conclusion is not supported by our testing or the manufacturer’s independent assessment. Changes within a wider audio setup can have multiple causes, and this does not override verified test results.
Our returns policy, including return and redelivery costs for non-faulty items, is clearly stated and applied consistently. We do not use hidden terms, and we do not deviate from our published policies.
We also strongly reject the allegation that we would resell a returned item as “faulty” stock. This is completely untrue and not how we operate as a business.
All communication was handled professionally. At no point did we act with hostility or rudeness, and we did not state that return shipping would be free if the item was found to be non-faulty.
We understand the customer is frustrated, however this review contains exaggerated and unsupported claims that do not reflect the verified facts.
We’re sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied and would like to clarify the situation based on the full timeline.
The order was placed on 14 July 2025 and dispatched on 19 July 2025. We were first contacted regarding an issue on 22 January 2026, over six months after delivery.
The item was returned to us and received on 30 January 2026. It was thoroughly tested, including extended use across multiple professional audio devices.
We were unable to replicate the reported fault. The cable was also reviewed in consultation with the manufacturer, who confirmed that no fault was present.
In line with our returns policy and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, where a product is tested and no fault is found, we are not required to offer a refund or replacement, nor cover return postage costs. We therefore advised that the item could be returned upon payment of postage or by arranging a courier collection.
We also want to be clear that while we fully respect every customer’s right to leave honest feedback, we cannot provide replacements where no fault has been identified. We also must make clear that we cannot be pressured or threatened with negative reviews in an attempt to secure an outcome that is not supported by the evidence.
We remain happy to return the item if you would like to arrange collection or cover the return postage.
