After several diets and gym memberships, I wanted to get back in my size 32's. I went down to the Academy to see if they could help. I dropped 20 lb in 2 months following their instructions and feel great. I have a new lease of life and have more energy to play more with the kids. I sleep better and work better and there has really been no negative impact at all.

The Academy educates you in so many ways and encourages you to take control of your eating habits. The nutritional advice is second to none and yet so simple, all you need to do is 'just eat real food' This is the secret to their success, by making the advice simple, whilst giving continuous support. The academy is so much fun and provides loads of variety in the sessions, you work hard but everyone enjoys it and supports each other. There's something very special about this place, it's different for everyone, as you can tell from the other reviews. The thing I like most, is how sustainable it is. There's no diet, it's simply a very positive change in lifestyle; why not come in and give it a go?

Like me, most people seem to join The Academy to lose weight. Which pretty much everyone does - the trainers, facilities and people are great. The programme is different to a gym because it is doesn't just focus on exercise. Whilst I have lost, and continue to lose, weight I value more the gains I have made with the support of The Academy team - a completely different approach to what and how I eat as well as a completely different lifestyle only possible with energy levels and an enthusiasm for my life that were but a distant memory. Definately join if you want to lose weight just be prepared for gaining so much more.

The Academy is unlike any other 'gym' I have ever been a member of. The weight loss success is better than any slimming club I have been a member of. The support and help is awesome, and the team spirit and camerarderie is wonderful. As a larger lady, in other places I have felt judged and criticised, but not here. I am still on my journey towards better health and lower body fat, but because of the nature of the Academy, ten months on I am still going, still motivated, still progressing. I am very grateful for the trainers and other members and look forward to a healthier and lighter life, which is sustainable into the future.

Absolutely love The Academy the sessions are structured for an all round workout... Suitable for all levels of fitness the results people are getting are fabulous.. The coaches are so friendly and there to to support you through your journey... Just wished I'd joined earlier...

Joining The Academy has been a truly life changing experience. By following the simple instructions on nutrition and thoroughly enjoying the group training sessions I have achieved and sustained goals in improved health, wellbeing and fitness I never dreamed possible. I've experienced positive impact in all areas of my life and made some true friendships and had a lot of laughs along the way. I would recommend anyone wanting to make some changes whatever shape, size or age to invest in themselves and join The Academy family.

I started at the Academy in March and it has changed my attitude to food and fitness. I love the interval training, despite having hated gyms for years. I have lost 33lbs so far... No weird diet, just following good advice and eating healthy, balanced meals every day and especially at breakfast. And best of all, the Academy has a really strong community spirit where everyone helps and supports each other. Now our whole family attends! #teamlean

Absolutely incredible place.
Life changing might seem like a strong statement, but it can certainly feel that way when your down in the dumps about your size or health and fitness. But at the academy you'll find all the help and support you'll need to change the way you think and feel. You won't be judged only encouraged to achieve the goals you've set. A truly inspirational place.

the academy changes lives, the basis of which is planted firmly in eating well and exercise. But also the enviroment created makes you feel like your with friends when your training.
