The service form Swell Pets was excellent. Unfortunately Parcel Force had at some point dropped the packages causing one case of the wet dog food to split. Quite a lot of the 18 trays were unusable.

However, Swell Pets refunded the damaged case without any fuss.

I received my order the very next day. Brilliant! Not their fault, but a few of the items were damaged, however, I was promptly refunded accordingly. I will do business with them again.

first class company I ordered some nature diet dog food which was deliverd with the containers burst open phoned the company to complain they sent a new order next day no questions asked they will take some beaten for first class service

Superb company to deal with - never disappointed

Fantastic offers and quick delivery ..well pleezed..

I ordered 2 dog crates and a large sack of kitten biscuits. Crates were delivered fine but the biscuits didn't arrive. On querying I was told they were a special order (no mention of this on the website) and that the company had to order them in and had been let down. If I'd known they had to order them in I would have gone elsewhere in the first place and cut out the middle man.

Delivery company, Parcelforce, was awful. As I wasn't in when they came they took the crates back to Leicester 40 miles away so the only option was to wait in all day for them to arrive. Then to have to wait in a second day for the second package.

I shan't be using this company again.

I used Swell Pets for the first time recently and will certainly use them again. Swift delivery and excellent customer service - a couple of Naturediet packs had blown, no quibbles, account quickly recredited to the value of the damaged packs.

Used these guys quite a few times, the price is really competitive. The part that lets them down is how it gets to you. If you have an address with someone in all day to sign for it..not a problem. If however you are like me and you work during the week, it's a problem. They will not leave it anywhere (e.g in a pourch left open for them) as they require a signature.
This time I tried to organise it better, I arranged for it to be delivered at my work address. I asked for the guys to let me know when they were on route, or failing that, 15 minutes in bound and I would meet them to collect and sign for it.
Neither happened. The first I knew was someone phoned me to say they had signed for it by mistake, I can only assume UPS allowed this to happen because the person they dropped the food off with had dogs, even though my name was on the invoice. Luckily for me they realised the error and phoned around till they got hold of me. Seems phoning ahead as requested is far to difficult.

As a regular customer I found it unfair that after placing my regular order of Arden Grange you then email me offering £5 off , a bit late!

We use Swell Pets mainly to buy large (15kg) sacks of premium dog food. It is very convenient to have it delivered to our door, and also cost-effective to receive a good discount for buying in bulk. However the delivery charges considerably reduce the price discount. We live in the UK but not on the 'mainland', but can't believe that delivery charges should be so very different from delivering to the provinces.
