A note on the COVID-19 pandemic
We hope you are staying safe during this challenging and unforeseen time across the globe. We would firstly like to thank you for your patience and support as we work to respond to the thousands of individual customer queries, booking amendments and refunds.
We would like to note that due to Coronavirus outbreak, we have received a huge volume of contact from customers who are concerned about how their holiday is affected. It may take us longer than usual to respond at the moment, but rest assured we are working hard to reply to every customer query as quickly as we can.
When will I receive my refund?
We're working as quickly as possible to get any money back to those customers who are owed a refund. In many cases, we are waiting for the money for the cost of flights to be refunded by the airline.
Additionally, unlike many other travel companies, Sunshine.co.uk is offering eligible customers a full cash refund alongside the option to move their holiday to a later date.
The ongoing situation with Covid-19 is unprecedented and affecting us all in many different ways. We truly appreciate the patience and support of all of our customers during this challenging time.

Absolutely horrific
Absolutely horrific. The hotel was nothing at all like the photographs, very old, dated and unclean. Absolutely no frills whatsoever. The room actually looked like a prison cell. And they had the cheek to have me pay considerably extra for a ‘balcony’ that wasn’t even big enough to fit a chair on. When I complained at reception I was told that they didn’t understand my problem and that there would be no point moving my room as they were all the same. I ended up leaving first thing the next morning which was very expensive to book another hotel at the last minute

Haven't been on holiday yet, but the were plenty options and the filters helped whittle down to somewhere we really wanted to go. Checked plenty different sites for the same holiday/hotel, and sunshine was not only the best deal but gave the option of tweaking flights to find what worked best.

0 star no customer service
Have had an issue with holiday unable to contact anyway tried to call for 2.5 hours couldn’t get through to anyone. Live chat only ai no way to speak to someone. Then website crash when tried to change / cancel until after 14 days so cannot get any refund. Diabolical customer service. Would give 0 stars if possible!!
Update: as stated cannot get through or any help of online cha and your reply is to try online chat is this for real!!!!!!!!!

I am extremely frustrated with the way…
I am extremely frustrated with the way this situation has been handled. I would advise anyone to avoid using sunshine! Sunshine changed both my flight times and departure airport, which caused significant disruption, and despite requesting a refund multiple times, I have still not received it. I was explicitly told the refund had been processed and would be in my bank account within seven days, yet that deadline has now passed with nothing received. On top of that, I have taken three days off work just to try and resolve this, spending hours stuck in a repetitive loop on live chat, constantly being redirected to a bot and forced to repeat the same information over and over again. Even when I finally reached a human after hours of effort, the issue still wasn’t resolved. This level of service is completely unacceptable, and the lack of transparency and follow-through has only made the situation worse.
Please can you send me a request to give you information required so you can look into this for me.

We had an issue with our booking and were offered zero support. Nobody to speak to only a web chat that says it’s closed during certain times even if you try during the open times. Our friends who booked at the same time as us had issues also and both parties will never use this company again……..Avoid!!
