We’ve used Student Storage a couple of times during my time at Uni in Durham and always found it to be really easy to organise and the items arrived back in NI the following day in great condition. Would highly recommend.

The process was very easy, you just pack them and they pick it up from your place and deliver it wherever you want and fast. I love the fact that they send you the boxes and tape ahead of time. Also it’s awesome that you don’t have to pay until you are sure how many boxes you are using. Overall it was the best experience I had with moving my things. I totally recommend!

Ive used this company for 3 years of storage/shipping as I went to uni abroad. They have always provided a faultless service and are accessible and easy to contact/adjust bookings if needed.

I shopped around for a service to get my daughters belongings moved out of halls / delivered from North to South. There really wasn’t anything that provided such a straightforward booking process, easy to use website and at such a very cost effective price for luggage and boxes - and delivered super fast. Absolutely brilliant. Boxes arrived ahead of the move in good time - really good quality boxes / tape and labelling materials. The only downside is the pick up procedure, as the only way it can practically work from a security controlled large halls was to take all the boxes to the halls post room (who very kindly did not mind it being stored there for the morning until pick up) as the driver does not collect from halls room / floor, or call to say pick up is incoming, so easiest is to be collected from a permanently manned desk. Would work more easily from a house. But other than that i couldn’t rate the whole experience more highly.

Avoid at all costs. Studentstoragebox.co.uk isn't registered in the UK, charged me VAT despite having no VAT number on the invoice, and doesn't actually run the storage facility themselves; they outsource the lot, so you're paying a middleman with zero accountability. I stored a bike with them over the summer, and they claimed to have delivered it to the wrong student address. Then, when I challenged them, they tried to blame-shift by questioning how I packaged my bike and sent a doctored photo of a supposedly crushed bike box, which was physically impossible, given that the frame can hold a suitcase on top without flinching. Replies came once a day at best, the correspondent refused to give their full name or a company address, and they only ever rang from a withheld number. My bike conveniently reappeared the following week, but only after I threatened to report them to HMRC. The service is appalling, the liability structure is non-existent, and I'm writing this purely to stop the next person losing their kit. Gamble if you fancy it; I never will, and I'd never recommend them. If studentstoragebox.co.uk wants an open debate, I'm happy to oblige and release all the documents I have.

Much cheaper than using DHL as an individual. General guidelines are clear enough to follow. Good customer support.

Very grateful to this company. They picked up and held my items in storage for 2 months while I was away on holiday. I was also relocating to a different part of the UK once I returned and they were able to efficiently transport all my items perfectly intact in good time. What’s even more amazing is that I wasn’t able to attach my shipping labels on the boxes but they still kindly collected them and even placed the labels for me! Worth the amount of money paid as well. Much appreciated, I know who to contact next time!

safe and secure for year long Storage without any damage

Great experience! The storage and item retrieval processes were seamless!

I used Student Storage Box to move my boxes and suitcases from London to NYC 4 weeks ago, since DHL picked up my items, I received no update from Student storage. 4 weeks later DHL contacts me regarding a suitcase that got returned to my old address. Zero customer service, zero notification from Student Box. I paid near £ 1k for an incomplete service. I am completely unable to figure out if my 4 other boxes and suitcases will make it to me in NYC and I dont know what to do with the suitcase that is left behind.

Student Storage Box team, if you see this I don’t want a useless apology answer, I want am update on when my items will arrive and a re-collection/delivery of the suitcase that was returned to the UK.

Very simple instructions that’s re easy to follow. Website is clear and simple. Not too much of a cost for the length of time. All items returned promptly in perfect order

When my boxes arrived some were even opened and torn. I had glass products in the boxes wrapped in bubble wrap and they were ALL broken, the box was literally leaking with glass. They didn’t even communicate properly, paying weakly for such poor service and just for my items to be broken.

used the service for my son at uni. They sent out the boxes to pack and easy collection by driver. No complaints about the whole process. was even easier to arrange redelivery of my storage to my new accommodation. The driver was there before me! Great Service will use them again at the end of this year!

I have used Studnet Storage box service every summer for the past three years in university and I have had a great experience everytime, they deliver on time whether it’s their label holders or your luggage, it’s all done very smoothly. Once you’ve booked the service and placed your luggage at reception, it’s all good.

Four boxes were to be delivered today but it's already past the delivery time and I have nothing. I waited in the house the whole day and this has to be the most frustrating experience ever. The online portal does not provide a tracking number so I can't follow up even if I want to. Now I am questioning whether the potential collection will be a similar experience.

Instruction are easy to follow, simple and clear response from customer service, the best thing is provide free boxed and tapes which help a lot. A nice storage experience with SSB.
