Mercedes Warranty (17 days without a car or the offer of a courtesy car) - There seems to be 3 parts to the claim process. Hamilton Garage (Good) who offer the requirements to the Mercedes Claim team . The Mercedes claim team (Poor) (middle man, who don't seem to be contactable by the customer) and the Main Mercedes Warranty team (Excellent). I had 2 parts failed, one passed through warranty and the other wasn't. This was a spring which had been previously replaced. I challenged this with the garage and they chased the Mercedes claim team. The claim team responded to the garage on the 2/9/26 again saying the spring (estimated £700) wasn't being covered. I called the garage 2/9/26 chasing the repairs up to be told that the Mercedes claim team had written back on Sept 2nd to say that the claim had been refused. I subsequently call the Mercedes Warranty team to ask why? To be told they hadn't refused the claim and that they had told the Mercedes claim team that they should have claimed the works for the spring using the Mercedes parts warranty. I wasn't impressed! The garage did apologise. I've summarised but overall from the Mercedes claim team (middle man) this is not acceptable. Duration 19/8/26 to the 4/9/26

I only popped into Mercedes for a look and a general enquiry, with no real intention of buying anything at the time, but I wanted to leave a review specifically for Laura, the Dealership Coordinator.

Laura was absolutely brilliant. From the moment I arrived she was welcoming, friendly and genuinely helpful, despite knowing I was only having a look. There was no pressure whatsoever — she simply took the time to help me, answer my questions and made me feel completely welcome.

It’s very easy to provide great service when someone is there ready to spend money; I think it says much more when you receive that same level of attention when you’re simply making an enquiry.

Laura is a fantastic ambassador for Mercedes and exactly the sort of person you’d want to meet when walking into a premium dealership.

Very disappointed in Mercedes Finance who have yet to respond to emails with an explanation as to why they could not support our purchase of a new car. Northbridge Finance approved us in 20 minutes on a nearly new car instead. Not happy at the lack of communication!

The whole experience at Stratstone Hamilton from first visiting to collecting my new car a week later was excellent. All the staff were extremely polite and friendly especially Christopher who was fantastic.

I have never had a negative experience throughout all the times I have used this garage. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful.

Service receptionists were friendly , efficient and included any issues reported regarding the car as part of the first service.

The engineer supplied a video report showing all actions carried out as well as a hard copy.

The car was returned cleaned inside and out after several hours which was much appreciated.

It is a real disappointment; I feel like I’ve been scammed. I bought an "Approved" car, trusting the Mercedes quality, but three months later, another Mercedes service centre figured out that four fuses had been removed from the tow bar wiring and installed aftermarket wiring; when the fuses were put back in, the car threw a tow bar error. Now Hamilton refuses to accept responsibility—or cover the tow bar under warranty—simply because this issue came to light three months after the purchase. I’d say stay away; in my opinion, it’s a worthless place. I have already raised complaint stratstonecustomercare (case Nu:**7902730) unfortunately I didn’t get any response for months. There is no official responsibility authority to deal with your issues.

Full communication at all times, even when there was an issue with banking and collection of the vehicle Callen went out his way to make sure the vehicle was delivered to our home address on the day agreed.

Excellent service and work carried out, very good customer service and communication

After car service i was left with a speed sensor fault which left my car with faulty brakes no power steering no reverse gear no speedometer which meant car had to go back to be sorted. I didn't cause any of the faults that was the result of the service but had to pay for it.

The reason we used Hamilton Mercedes because it’s closer, the experience was ok, Not as good as fort Kinnaird Mercedes where we bought the car 5 star.

The salesman Scott Bell was really helpful and knowledgeable and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.

low ball p/x offer of 1500 pounds, other Mercedes dealer offered 3k for my car which on auto trader p/x shows 3750.Not impressed. I dealt with Chris an ex Toyota man who stated my car was in great condition. My advise is look elsewhere at least Turpin wore a mask. I went to Mercedes as I thought they had a good reputation.
