A first class experience!
From walking through the door to reception, all of the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The necessary inspection and work was completed and the remedial work agreed carried out immediately.
All finished on time on the day.

A fault with the rear camera arose…
A fault with the rear camera arose immediately after the service, despite the system functioning normally beforehand. Although the vehicle was inspected again, the issue was not properly resolved and responsibility for rectification was declined. The explanation provided was inconsistent and unconvincing for an authorised dealership, particularly given the cost of the service. Overall, the handling of the post-service issue fell well below expected standards.

I purchased a 2020 Land Rover Defender…
I purchased a 2020 Land Rover Defender 110 from Stratstone Tonbridge, dealing with a sales representative named Gary. I collected the car on September 16, 2025, and I'm currently sitting at Land Rover for the third time to collect my vehicle, which needs to go back yet again for issues that were present upon purchase.
The warranty company has stated that these issues are not covered, and JLR head office has refused to offer any goodwill gesture, leaving me with a bill of nearly £900 to replace a window that the car arrived with. I've been emailing the business manager, Paul, but am getting know where!
I have requested to return the car under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

Defender Coolant issue
Having experienced a coolant issue with my Land Rover Defender, I received an excellent customer service from Stratstone Land Rover Tonbridge, The Defender had to remain at Tonbridge for two week due to a Parts back order issue. But the hire car provided and communication level from Piers Sawyer was first class.
Very satisfied customer!

A speedy service was provided from the original booking to receipt of the serviced vehicle. In particular Karl Van Den Broek was particularly helpful and very pleasant offering me a place to work whilst waiting for the checks on the vehicle to be completed. Karl also took time to explain the extended warranty procedure.

Cleaning needs to be consistent or improved or don’t bother to include that service and return the car how it is.
Car went in for a service and only half the car was cleaned. Literally only left side had been done in and out. The right side had been forgotten about completely. It was actually quite funny.
Second time - car went in for a recall and returned dirtier than before as I had recently cleaned it myself. There was muddy footprints on the back seats and splash marks of something. I don’t know what was going on in the back! Even my teens questioned why the seats were so dirty and the car was only gone for 5 hours.
