First order and last order at the same time. I placed an online order. Everything seemed good in stock, great price. Got standard confirmation email. The next day I get emails saying some things are out of stock and some items are prepared to ship with tracking information. I check the website and it says they have the item in stock however the price has gone up. That’s odd I think to myself but it’s late call them later. Then I get more emails and cancellations saying inventory issues and here is a $20 off $50 purchase coupon. I check website again and everything is still showing in stock and higher prices. Call customer service to figure out what is going on. They say the website had incorrect pricing information and it wasn’t their fault and I got a coupon. I found this funny so I asked for a manager. I was put on hold and then told the managers were all in a meeting and I would get a call back. I gave them the weekend and Monday to call me back. No call back. Called today Tuesday and asked for a manager was asked to go over everything and leave a call back number just in case we get disconnected again so I did then got hung up on while waiting for a manager. Gave them the entire day to call me back but no call back. Never had a company fail to honor pricing and fail 2 times to call me back. Thanks for nothing! I would advise anyone who is thinking about doing business with them not to they are a bunch of liars. Lied about pricing. Lied about reasons of cancellation.

I ordered a firearm, waited about 3 weeks to come in. Went to pick up up, gave the man my driver's license and CWP, and filled out the questionnaire. The employee with my DL and CWP entered my information wrong in their computer. He entered Do Back Ground Check instead of with CWP. After waiting about 45 minutes, never waited more than 10 minutes, the manager told me the employee entered the information wrong and that's why it's taking so long and it could not be canceled and re entered it correctly. On an email from Sportsmans Warehouse, reason for order cancelation was, "customer changed mind". Was told 5 to 7 days to get refund. What a bunch of BS from Sportsmans Warehouse. Would not recommend.

We placed an order online. Got to the store and waited over half an hour. They did not have the item we ordered in stock. They did not even apologize for the inconvenience.

I don't write reviews, but I don't know what else to do. My son and I went to the Cornoa store to look at firearms today. My son is a U.S. Marine and I am a firearm owner (3 firearms). I was interested in a hunting rifle, and my son in a handgun and AR rifle. We took a number and waited OVER 2 HOURS. The only reason we stayed is because our number was next for over an hour, but somehow they KEPT TAKING OTHER CUSTOMERS. Many of them walked up without even taking a number. I asked the employees about it, and they brushed me off. At one point there were at least 5 employees behind the counter, but as they finsihed with their current customers, they would leave the area and not help us. I informed the store manager, but she brushed us off too. The employee who eventually helped us was very nice and I don't hold him responsible because he came much later. The other employees IGNORED US ON PURPOSE. Later, I saw one of the employees and he gave me a dirty look. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Please confirm whether orders put in on your Facebook account is legitimate? Keeps saying an email will be sent but I have not received anything. Would like to know if I have been scammed

I placed an order, received an email stating that when it shipped I would be updated. After about 8 days of not hearing anything, I clicked the link, and the website said there was no order history.
I called a very pleasant customer service person, and after 5 minutes of him checking, he told me it would ship within 48 hours. And that I would receive an email with tracking information.
10 days after I ordered from this company, I received an email that the item I ordered was not available.
Obviously this item was out of stock when I ordered it. Therefor, I will never again order from this company, as I do not trust anything they have listed is actually in stock.

The most incompetent customer service I have seen for a company. A complete joke. Numerous phone calls back and forth because your staff doesn’t know about warranties for products. One “customer service” agent said there’s a one month warranty, another says there is no warranty, and finally the third lady said to send over the emailed screenshots from the manufacturer itself then we will think about it. TRAIN YOUR STAFF. Will be shopping at Scheels locally from now on and never spending a dime at sportsman warehouse again.

Awful experience with Sportsman's warehouse. I purchased a sleeping bag online and after doing a little further research I realized it wasn't the one I wanted. When the product arrived I called to initiate a return. The woman in customer service that I spoke to on the phone told me I would get a return label sent to my email. When the email arrived it told me the item was on clearance and they would not accept my return. If that is your policy at least list it on the item page, a simple "All Sales Are Final On Clearance Items" would suffice. And train your customer service associates to have some backbone and not LIE to customers. The absurd return policy is one thing but the fact I was lied to will ensure I never shop at Sportman's Warehouse again.

I ordered something I needed that was very important for my trip and Sportsmans Warehouse canceled my order without sending me a notification even though I have a profile, so when I called, they said they cancelled my order for security reasons but won't tell me the security reasons, and now I cannot go on my stuff I really needed for my job. Bass Pro and Scheels has always contacted me when they think something is wrong with my order no matter how big or small of an order, so I plan to never spend another dime of my money at Sportsmans Warehouse I will go through a company that I can trust

Sportsmans Warehouse has the worst customer service and return policy.
You can not get ahold of anyone in management to file a complaint.
Also called because store in Tyler TX not answering phones..called customer care talked to a guy I couldn't understand who said they couldn't do anything about it.
And don't try to return anything..the most ridiculous process I've ever seen.

I WILL GIVE THIS SO CALL COMPANY A BIG FAT ZERO STAR IF I HAD THE CHOICE.
this company have the worst customer service ever.. big attitude, they hang up the phone when asking for a supervisor or asking why you need to a supervisor after explaining why you need one for?? ALSO BRAINLESS. I mean where do they find this INCOMPETENT RUDE AS_ ?? this company is going to start closing a lot of there stores just like MACY'S because they don't give a Tham about the people that are there bread and butter.. who put food on there table. Without customers you will become nothing. Take care of the people that spend money at your store and stop being so Tham money hungry, and if you have merchandise on sale BACK IT UP AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH TO REPLACE BAD MERCHANDISES..
it was my first time buying anything from this place and MY LAST. IM ALSO MAKING SURE THAT ALL MY FOLLOWERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE..

Bought two PFDs for gifts. Neither fit the two recipients. Both PFDs were and are still marked "on sale" on the website. Sent email asking to return. They responded by asking for pictures of the items. Sent the photos showing both PFDs unused and with tags still attached. They responded by saying both PFDs were "on Clearance" and can't be returned. Neither was on clearance when I bought (still aren't marked clearance), and nowhere did it say they were not returnable. They refuse to accept returns and I see below other reviewers also were asked for photos. I think this is part of their game to run out the clock or discourage returns before flat out denying them. Can't believe they are still in business.

While shopping their website a pop up said signup for text and receive a 10% discount on your next order. I was ordering $99.97 cents worth. The website wouldn’t except the code. I called and told it’s because 1 item was reloading bullets. I took those off then was told it has to be a $100 dollar order. Went back , reread the text and no where did it say that . FALSE ADVERTISING. Walmart has the same item for the same price . Guess where I am purchasing the item ?

bought a firearm online and they shipped to a ffl in my state. they were running a promotion on the firearm i purchased which came with a 130 dollar sw giftcard.they asked me if i had any proof of the promotion and lucky for me i took a picture of there web page and sent it to them.now they are requesting more pics with time and dates on them, i told the lady if you cant check which promos you are running maybe you guys shouldnt be in business....still nothing back from them....never shop there again !

Tried to contact our local store here in Fredericksburg Va but the service person kept picking up the phone then hang up. The one time he did answer I asked for someone in the fishing dept, and he transferred me back there and the phone just kept ringing then stopped. I called back and again the service just hangs up. Also, would not tell me his name. Very bad customer service. I will not waste my time at this store.

Got a pair of shoes as a gift and went to exchange them 5 days after purchase. They were worn ONCE and were too big. The salesperson told my g.f. to buy a bigger size because they "run small" and then Sportsman's Warehouse would not exchange them because they "looked" worn. Well yeah, I wore them once to see if they would work, and they didn't. 100% will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

I purchase a $3 part and somehow it shipped to a location instead of my home. Be careful when purchasing! It wouldn’t be bad if it was local but it’s over an 8 hour drive to pick it up. Small loss for me, but I obviously won’t be a return customer. I can’t believe they aren’t interested in solving the problem. I’d be happy to pay for shipping but they haven’t offered to ship it to me. Never mind good bye.

Truthfully, the shopping experience was fine, like any other store. With that said the store Credit Card, NIGHTMARE! I purchased a pair of binoculars in August of 2022. I was offered the credit card for a discount on my purchase like most retailers do. I paid off the purchase within a few months, however somehow despite a credit (less than a dollar) they refused to close the credit card. Despite the credit and NO other purchases I started receiving calls about late fees. The calls were incessant!! Multiple per day for months, most calls were made by individuals who spoke very little English with very thick accents to the point of not being able to have a conversation, because they didn’t understand me or I didn’t understand them.

In September of 2023 I finally spoke to someone that I could understand and vice versa. She claimed that there was some sort of charge that took away the small credit and had a balance that was under $1 which began to accrue late fees. (By then hundreds of dollars). She agreed to credit me back the late fees and close the account.

Within a couple months the calls began again. Eventually I spoke to to someone I could understand again and he read the notes, saw where it was paid off and apologized. He stated that he would close the account and I would receive no more calls.

After a month, my wife started receiving calls, we tried to ignore them, but last night she spoke to them. Late fees now over $300. After she spoke to several levels of management and spent over an hour on the phone, they again agreed we did not owe anything. BUT since she was not the primary card holder, they refused to close the account, despite me attempting to close it multiple times on several prior occasions AND we have not purchased anything from Sportsman’s Warehouse since the one purchase! Now I have to call back tomorrow to request they close the account.

I’ve spent more than the initial discount I received on the one purchase not to mention the aggravation of all of the calls, I will never shop at Sportsman’s Warehouse again because of this.

UPDATE

After another round of calls they claim that my account is FINALLY closed, but they now deny that there are any notes on the account! A quick check of my Credit shows multiple fraudulent reports of late payments (10) and a 229% balance on that account. Despite referring to the notes on multiple occasions over the past few months, and even during the call when I closed my account, they now claim there are no notes attached to the account. They also lied and claimed that they do not keep notes from calls on acciunta and refused to help with the fraudulent information reported to the credit bureau.

NEVER get the credit card from this store!

Be careful ordering from this outfit for anything online! The canned message system will spit out messages that validate their helpful stance but the promises of shipment and when delivery can be expected is all fantasy. When I finally received what I had ordered it was 5 days past the expected date and they had charged my card before it even shipped. The man at the register who was helping me said "they don't have a good system" They might be better than nothing but not by much! 1 star is far higher than is deserved.
