After realising swapping a washing machine machine seal would not be as simple as YouTube suggests. I called spin doctors and I was booked in fast, they text me to say on the way. They got on with the job quickly and competently no mess and tested everything. Stress free for me. I would recommend.

Quick and efficient - would use again

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this company.

I paid a call-out fee and an additional charge for a replacement part after being told my appliance had been repaired. However, when I used the machine shortly after the engineer left, it was still not working.

When I raised this, I was not offered a refund for the ineffective repair. Instead, I was encouraged to purchase a replacement appliance from them, with the suggestion that the repair fee would only be refunded if I bought a new product through the company.

I also felt uncomfortable with the tone of communication when I raised concerns and left feedback.

Based on my experience, I would not use this service again.

Great service, quick turnaround!

Tumble dryer fixed within 24 hours of initial contact, from the initial customer service to the engineer keeping us well informed on time of arrival to a reasonable price.

Would definitely use again.

Anyway we could go back and forth but I’m only making others aware of my experience but seems from some latest reviews I’m not the only 1.. you have my email if you wish to communicate but all communication stopped.

Rang these guys for a faulty dishwasher.
Quick response and non returnable payment.
The guy was in my house no longer than 10minutes, and said nothing wrong with the dishwasher it’s the pipework under sink. (Baring in mind it’s less than 2 years old) he left and the problem was still there.
Contacted a different company that said there a problem drawing and he cheaper to get a new dishwasher than try and replace so did that.
This company just want your non returnable money act quick and leave you in the same position.
Tried to sort out over email but just get ignored so have to warn others.

Called Spin Doctor on Saturday , Element died in the oven, they could not come until Monday , fair enough but they wanted £94 for the call out. I should have stopped there and said no thanks, anyway the very nice man turned up on monday afternoon, his first day with the company did his job well and efficiently so this does not relate to him . My point is that he had to charge me a further £64 for the new element he fitted. I am angry because I reseached the price for the item on the line and the lowest price £9.99 to £19.99. I will do the job myself in future rather than be ripped off again by Spin Doctor.

Honestly do not bother!
One of the worst local businesses I've ever used.
Reported a simple fault with my washing machine door seal, had to fill in all the details of the machine and include photos online, great start, easy process. Contacted me, didn't have part in stock, no problem, couple of days wait.
Now a 10 minute fix turns in to 2.5 weeks of incompetence and arrogance.
Engineer turns up, brings the wrong part, tries to come back next day. I said "No, can you go and get the right bit and come back, got two kids and had no machine for 3 days." He goes, comes back, 10min install, done. £142!
Next day machine starts leaking again from a different place. Call them back. Engineer says we have to wait another 5 days for more parts but 110% he fitted his bit correctly. Refuses to come and reassess the machine. Pay another £52 for more parts, book new appointment. Phoned day before to adjust my availability for appointment, just the time, not the day; automated machine books me into a timeslot that doesn't exist. So engineer comes when I'm not home. Have to wait another 4 days for another appointment.
Different engineer turns up tells me I need another £30 in parts before it's even been repaired (also get a text message the day before adjusting the bill before they've even looked at the machine.) Installs £50 and £30 part, would you believe it, still leaking... And why... The part the first engineer fitted and assured me 110% was fitted correctly was fitted incorrectly and was leaking. Pure arrogance! So now take all the new parts I never needed to pay for out of my machine, reinstall the old parts that were fine. Start refund process for parts.
Contacted office to make a complaint as by this time I've had no machine for 2.5 weeks, and 13 days of driving to parents and launderette to wash clothes and school uniform, all because of poor workmanship.
Asked Spin Doctor for my call out fee back as compensation and said I'm happy to pay for parts I needed. Was told NO, because; even though they caused the issue the "timescales involved in your repair were significantly shorter than the current industry average" and "We do accept that communication and aspects of the process could have been smoother, and for that we apologise. However, we have already refunded you for the parts that were not ultimately required, and we will not be offering any further refunds. The call-out fee covered diagnosis, attendance, and labour across the visits provided."
So you have it... I paid £145 to diagnose my own machines problem, paid for them to drive to me with the wrong parts and at the wrong time 3 times, and paid for labour to install part wrong, two parts I didn't need, and then put my machine back together again.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I called spin doctor on Saturday and left details with the AI assistant system. They called me first thing Monday and the engineer Scott was with me the same morning.

Scott checked and fixed the problem for no additional cost other than the call out fee.

Very impressed, knowledgeable and efficient. Would definitely use them again should the need arise.

We had a great experience with Phil from Spindoctor. Our kitchen extractor fan had been getting increasingly noisier. We had taken it apart and cleaned it ourselves but the noise remained. It was really easy to book with Spindoctor and Phil came round the same day. He quickly worked out the problem and fixed it. Highly recommend

I contacted Spindoctors as I was considering my options and costs when my oven broke. Contacted Spindoctors and they were at my house within 30 minutes. Scott, the engineer arrived and he talked me through everything. He was knowledgeable, professional and personable. The job was resolved within 30 minutes and payment was easy. I honestly couldn’t fault them as a service provider, but also just generally nice people who come across with care & empathy for their customers. I was so impressed I sent a recommendation on our local what’s app group to all my neighbours. Highly Recommend!

We thought we had an issue with our washing machine that the final spin did not come out hot after the drying cycle. We called out Spin Doctor and they charged £100 for a call out and when the person came out , said the heating part is not working as there is lot of dust settled in and changed the part for £40 . It was still not warm when the clothes came out of the dryer. So we called out Bosch - Manufacturer and paid for the service, they came today and told us that it is not supposed to come our warm because it rinses in cold water. They did a full cycle and told us that spin doctor have charged us for nothing. When we called up spin doctor they said they will give back the charge for the part but not the charge for the call out as they are a family run business. If we make more noise they would sue us. Then they said they would not give out the charge for the part also if we dont share the bosch report.

Pretty poor. Original appointment had to be rescheduled because they couldn’t find a parking spot. The next time around I booked a permit spot as well as an all-day spot at an NCP, which cost upwards of £50. Despite this the guy refused to park in the NCP and walk 7 min, instead he insisted I stand and watch his van downstairs in the freezing cold, otherwise he couldn’t fulfil the appointment. If they cannot find a solution for appointments in Central London they should not accept them in the first place.

David is timely and does an outstanding job. He has been my appliance repair man for 20 years. His pricing is always reasonable and he will get the job done. My whole family uses him.
