SPARKLIGHT is awful. Don’t get them!!!
SPARKLIGHT sucks. They supposedly did an upgrade on Monday night October 28th. We have been without Internet now for two days. It’s Wednesday at 7 AM on the 30th and we still have no Internet or no TV. They charge a ton and the reliability stinks. I will be getting a new Internet. I just have to wait for it to get here and then I will be canceling this awful company. Best advice don’t ever get them.
Their technical support sucks also! I tried calling five different times on the 29th and the first time there was 10 people ahead of me so I left my name and number and they were gonna call me back two hours later. No call back. The second time I tried 20 people were ahead of me. There was no way I was leaving my name and number because it wouldn’t have happened. On the fifth try there was five people ahead of me so I stayed on the line. Tech-support said their engineers were trying to get it fixed that they had did an upgrade and they didn’t know what was going on. He was going to reset me and I should have Internet. He did. It did not come on Wednesday morning at 7 AM. There is still none horrible company.

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND DISTGUSTING. I HATE THESE GUYS. NO IDEA WHO THE F*** I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH BUT GIVING ME ATTITUDE BECAUSE I AM ASKING WHY I AM BEING I HAVE A PAYMENT IN COLLECTIONS WHEN YOU DID NOT NOTIFY ME. As well, as the fact that apparently when you turn in your router and they tell you you don't owe fees, after you check with them thay you don't and have the paperwork verifying that. Oh be careful as well, if you turn in your stuff early and shut down all services, they will still charge you for the whole month of service. Thanks for giving me a debt that if you notified me sooner I would have paid, as well as having a reason that would be great. Try call people or sending them an email. Or better yet a paper bill. Some people still use them especially when the accounts in which they NO LONGER have access to, paper notifications are good and make people go what? When they get something from something they thought they are no longer involved with. So I hope that all of you receive the days and harsh reality coming your way just for being rude and unhelpful in coming to a solution, you will not be receiving any money.

Cannot extend dates when system is down to pay bill. Could not get anyone on the phone. Website kept giving me an error and when I finally get ahold of someone. They can’t do anything. Very snarky people as well. Not helpful whatsoever
Internet out, AGAIN!!
Internet is out once again and of course the call center (probably in Bombay India), is useless. The agents are hard to understand and offer zero solutions.
The real question however is why can't they keep their Internet working? Is their fiber cable stuck together with chewing gum and duct tape?? It's time to dump this company and find another provider!!
Outages like this are not okay
Going a whole day without internet that I need for my job thanks to them. Random outage happened that was originally supposed to be fixed by 9:00 AM and is currently estimated to be fixed at 5:30 PM. Don't get this unless you don't need reliable internet.

Absolutely horrible service and customer relations. I thought cable America was bad, Sparklight takes the cake! I’ve been out of internet for months and the tell me they are fixing but have no idea when it will be fixed. They sure know how to get the bills each month without a problem. They hide the fact that their network is horribly over utilized and that they are too incompetent to resolve the issue in a timely manner, and Expect people to keep paying for a service they are not receiving. Abysmal customer service
Abysmal customer service. Now to give them credit, while you’re waiting for a human you’ll hear how valued you are 100 times. They like to say it they just don’t mean it. They sure as heck aren’t going to put any money into it like putting in call back systems, updating their recorded messages, training, communication, etc.

The worst ISP I have ever used.
I've used Hargray since 2016 with very little issues. Once SparkLight acquired the company, my internet service has deteriorated to the point that I am basically being scammed out of $100 every month. For roughly 3 months I have experienced hourly internet disconnects, high ping, low download speeds, upload speed hovering around ~1mb/s, etc. They have sent out numerous techs, who have accomplished absolutely nothing (but still managed to charge me). At one point I called into their support line and had an additional $5 monthly modem insurance fee added to my account that I never agreed to or was even asked about.. It's been a disaster to say the least.
I'm not exactly sure what is going on, but it appears that SparkLight is consolidating their customers to fewer nodes in order to cut costs. Apparently reliable internet is too much to ask for.
Customer care needs work
Clerical error on their part was causing a rental account to not receive bills or any notices. When asked for something showing the email they had to rectify a credit report for unpaid, not received bills a John at the pocatello office wouldn't even attemp to be sympathetic or useful. Also extremely short business hours. The other agent was polite and helpful but damaged my credit for their error and left a bad taste in my mouth.

I had a internet outage for 3 days and all I got was a $10 credit this company is trash and so are the technicians. Xfinity would NEVER! If I could have kept xfinity I would have becuase the service is awful! Go anywhere else but here!
Don’t use sparklight
Don’t use sparklight. Tv out twice today. Had a service person last week then out again. Have another service rep next week. More time trying to fix then use their TV Service

Their service is horrendous, I have paid for a gig for 2 years and can’t run two tvs! It’s NOT good, they are scamming people. I have complained, asked for it to be fixed but they can’t get it together. Don’t dream of gaming! This is a headache ! Don’t do it

I was freaking out about my bill and Shelby helped me out in the biggest way.she was so patient with me and so nice she made my day turn around and now I have no more stress
Horrible service
Horrible service. No Redundancy in case of an outage. I switched my mother from ATT DSL with really bad service to them because I took her off of DirecTV satellite. Big mistake! They don't maintain their equipment. The trunk lines in her neighborhood were old and every time it rained she lost internet. After a year and two BBB complaints they finally replaced the line, but they didn't make sure it was working before they left! Two days later and no internet and now I'm dealing with these morons trying to get someone out to look at it. They say they are too busy and won't let you schedule an appointment. They say they will call you back? They don't call you back. I had another loss of internet complaint two weeks ago and no call back. Horrible company!
Frustrating customer experience
On the reverse side of my on-line ( log into account ) paperless invoice there is a sentence which reads a upcoming $5.00 service increase can be offset by switching to Debit Card from Credit Card.
SORRY but I do not log-in and read the Back of my paperless invoice each month . I Auto-pay by Credit Card and move on. My monthly went up $5.00. for this reason. A Sparklight E-mail explaining my options could have been used. I get a lot of Advertising E-mails so I know they are used.
It was difficult to connect by phone with a Real Person in Bookkeeping .
Down more than it's up.
Sparklight is slow most of the time and just completely down more often. They are trash.
The internet always has issues…
The internet always has issues sometimes it's down for 10-20 minutes sometimes days. They say they will keep you updated but all they do is send a text every few hours saying the internet is still down. I already know that because my internet isn't working. Tell me what's wrong and when it will be fixed thats an update also let me know if you do eventually get it fixed incase I need to reset something on my equipment. Get your head out of you ass do your job and provide the service I pay for.

We have not had a business phone for two days here in Longview, Tx. We contacted No spark light and were told that only AT&T customers were unable to connect to No spark light. Maybe they should sell out to a better service provider , one that has a working system. DO NOT USE SPARKLIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
