I finally got a response back to my ticket a year later. I contacted them about issues with my YouTube upload, I then sent a few more queries regarding how I can add that to my own YouTube account. This query was sent round early December 2024, it’s 2025 and I got a response back on the 16th December 2025, yes a WHOLE YEAR LATER! I’m now with Distro Kid as the support here is terrible and terrible is an understatement. I have earned money from my songs but due to the lack of support and my lack of faith in the company I’m going to have to classify all earnings as a loss and a waste of my time. The company is a waste of space, don’t open a business you don’t give any care about. If you don’t want to provide support for a service you provide what’s the point of being a business owner? Ooh wait I know to be rich and to continue stealing money from the poor and if you are the owner of Soundrop and you’re poor how, my tip is permanently close the business or fix up yourself so that your app can flourish. You have more bad reviews than good. It took a whole year to get a response, a whole year! Highly recommend Distrokid, I swapped 2 months ago as staying with Soundrop was as pointless as listening to a man unnecessarily mansplain things

Soundr has gotten WAY better after they upped the prices to 5$ pr. release! Ive released about 20 covers since then, and they are now super fast and reliable. Seams like Soundr is back!! That said, customer support is still not really there, hence the 4stars and not 5.

It seemed like a good deal for an underground DIY band like ours to only pay the first $20 we would make on the streaming platforms to Soundrop. For the first release all went well. Now, three years later, we got some unpleasant surprises.

First off, they suddenly charge $4,99 per track to be distributed additional to the $20 your already give them. They never announced that in any way. Second, our artwork got blocked because of a fictional, not even functioning tiny QR-code. This caused us to miss our communicated release date. The third one is even more ridiculous. Somehow Soundrop deemed our original exclusive unique tracks wich do not contain any samples or parts that we did not create or write ourselves uneligible for the Facebook/Instagram library. It is impossible to appeal or undo that judgement.

Trying to get these issues resolved proves to be futile. The costumer service is simply unexistant. After long search, I found the well hidden possibility to "make a request", but weeks after making it, it remeains unanswered. We will not be using Soundrop anymore and strongly advice any other artist to do the same.

And the day, when my acapella songs and original electronic songs ( human input done, as humming was the basic melody ) also will be honoured, that day I will be the happiest ! Anyway, thank you for the changes you made in the last couple of Months , website is speedy and thanks for your work and detailed info - it makes me very happy - Evita .

My release date has pass for long and yet my song is not out yet and you people dont even reply emails, is that how you treat your client after increasing your payment  

Servizio di gran lunga peggiorato, e nonostante questo, a differenza di prima, si paga 4,99 $ per ogni traccia. Piattaforma di difficile utilizzo, per niente intuitiva.

I have had 17 albums released with this company I was with it way before it became Soundrop. It is so disappointing that they now have zero customer service they don't care about you, they won't reply back to anything. I have now switched to another company that has great customer service and will be spending my money with them instead. Don't waste your time.

Soundrop is a scam company, their founders are thief. I paid for the product but didn't get the service, I submitted a track 2 months ago, they say they release content in 5-7 days but it's false. Don't release your music with soundrop. After 2 months now they are telling me the cover song got refusal for releasing and for that they have closed my account. Also my other songs which was in the soundrop account was taken down too. I had 17 tracks, and a lot of cash which I couldn't withdraw from their account.

Just choose any other provider but not Soundrop, their founders are thief, frauds and scammer. They don't have any team just that one guy sitting there and doing scam.

I’ve waited 25 days for my release to go live on Spotify via Soundrop. I followed all the steps, paid the fee, and received nothing but AI replies.

Ticket #4898131 has been open for weeks and I haven’t heard from a real person.
This is extremely unprofessional, and I’m now considering switching to another distributor.

Il servizio anni fa era accettabile ma ora è decisamente peggiorato. Non pubblicano il mio brano da un mese e nessuno risponde. Pessimo.

Das ist der unseriöseste Distributor, den ich je erlebt habe. Es ist eine absolute Unverschämtheit, dass man einerseits für jeden Release bezahlen und zusätzlich 15 % der Einnahmen abgeben muss – und dafür dann so einen miserablen Service erhält. Laut eigenen Angaben sollte die Verarbeitungszeit maximal zehn Werktage dauern, doch mein Song hängt nun seit fast einem Monat fest. Der Kundenservice ist praktisch nicht existent: Zuerst landet man bei einem Chatbot, der „Lösungen“ vorschlägt, die es auf der Plattform überhaupt nicht gibt – also schlicht halluziniert. Nachdem ich das bemängelt habe, hieß es, meine Anfrage würde an den Support weitergeleitet. Doch von dort kommt seit Tagen keinerlei Antwort. Mein Release ist nach wie vor ausstehend. Für mich ist das ein extrem unseriöser Dienstleister. Ich rate dringend davon ab, Soundrop zu nutzen.

Warning! You paid and nothing happened. They took your money and then you'll get no release. Since two weeks you see this: "Pending Approval". The support isn't real and you get no answer. We open a claim to PayPal and we hope that we'll get a refund. Take care of this company, it's a big scam.

Service completement defaillant au mieux, pas une seule distribution ne s'est effectuee sans erreur, des delais de distribution extremement longs et un support completement inexistant.
Une IA inutile tente de repondre a vos tickets et questions, il est maintenant quasiment impossible de s addresser a un humain.

Et meme lorsque tout semble aller bien, vous n'etes pas a l'abris qu un beau jour ils decident de vous retirer des titres deja parus sans explication.

Ils viennent d' augmenter leur tarifs de 0,99$ la track a 4,99$, encore si tout fonctionnait et que le service etait solide je dirais pas mais la...

A fuir comme la peste.

They don't allow you to see the stores until you've paid them. one of the specific stores I needed they didn't have. Contacted twice already for a refund and never got a single answer. Scammers. they should allow you to see many more information before asking for a single cent. Months later still waitimng for my money and any kind of answer.

Their website is constantly losing data, not allowing me to save it, making copies of drafts that are useless without said data, charging me money but not letting me get to the distribute page, etc. Total waste of man hours here. And these people want to raise their prices. GTFO

I released multiple songs with them, they got released, some of them are not on youtube, some of them are not on tiktok and some of them are not on instagram (its like they just randomised which platforms to not release my music on), however customer support, NONEXISTANT! Waiting 3 months for someone to answer my ticket, no real humans, waiting over 4 weeks for someone to approve my latest release. DO NOT USE!

Don't even think about releasing your music through Soundrop

Soundrop accepts your money for the release and doesn't do anything!
We've uploaded 50 songs, paid the price, but the release didn't happen.
I wish I'd done more research before choosing Soundrop. I don't advise anyone to use this platform ever.

My Soundrop account was suddenly blocked without any explanation. I had $100 in balance and no prior warnings. I contacted support and received no response. This is completely unacceptable. I demand access to my funds or a clear explanation. Avoid using Soundrop if you care about your music and money.

Il servizio clienti é pessimo: dopo dieci giorno dalla mia richiesta di supporto, sono ancora in attesa di qualsiasi risposta.
Il pagamento delle royalties avviene con molto ritardo (sono ancora in attesa di un pagamento che doveva arrivare il 13 giugno 2025).

Does anybody want to team up and sue these scammers?
