Houses are overcrowded and full of people posing, the original ethos has entirely disappeared. The service is consistently below par. And it is impossible to get in touch with anybody from the corporate team to resolve billing issues. It’s has been over 6 weeks and I am yet to receive a substantive response from anybody there. They have taken $750 from my bank account unauthorized, $1700 from my house credits unauthorized, and will not respond to any form of email. It’s a shambles.

Had another really nice evening at Little House Balham (as usual).
The atmosphere is relaxed but still feels exclusive, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout.
The food was good and the cocktails were excellent.
What I like most about Soho House places is the balance between comfort and style, and this one does it very well.
Definitely one of my favourite spots in London, perfect for dinner or drinks with friends.

Wonderful stay at Soho Farmhouse. The estate and its village concept are fantastic! We especially loved the cottage we stayed in, along with the charming flower shop and coffee shop. The cosmetic products in the cottages are also excellent.

Sheree was lovely and very professional. It was a pleasure !

Took a Soho Friends membership on the promise of a £100 voucher off Soho Home purchases. Voucher didn’t work. Tried 4 times to contact them but no reply. Made sure no continuous authority was in place at renewal. They have taken £100 again anyway. No reply to my message.

So far so good. I became a member a few months ago and so far have had a great experience. Most of my visits have been to 76 Dean Street, Soho so far and I find the staff there to be incredibly nice and good fun to chat to.

I enjoy receiving my "whats on" messages and have attended a few events which have been enjoyable. I need to be a bit quicker booking things so I don't miss out (is there a technique to this that someone can tell me about?). But suffice to say I am enjoying being a member so far

No longer an exclusive membership - cancelled mine. Under 27's get 50% off whilst we all pay full price for being 5-6 years older! It is meant to be premium and exclusive and its now just full of grubby teens paying 50% less than everyone else... DO NOT get a membership!

PS - Brighton house is dirty, smells like sewage, the toilets and showers are always broken. Steam room smells of drains and they try to put some kind of smelly oil in to cover it up. Sauna is full of teens and is dirty and ripped. They never have enough towels, it's an embarrasement!

Scam - added soho friends on a soho home order a year ago, for a 1 year membership, didn’t use it for anything but it made my basket cheaper.
They emailed last month to say “if you want to renew; add your details” - naturally I didn’t click it as I didn’t want to renew.
They took £100 anyway without my permission.
Emailed and absolutely nothing back.
I’ve done a chargeback with my bank

Wasted a years membership as it became all centred about minimum spends and pool bookings that were cancelled off if you were more than 20 mins late. As the mum of a toddler I couldn't get there for 8am.
When I cancelled my membership the email service was heavily delayed and they took my money anyway. I'm now trying very hard to get my money back with limited effort.

Scam for anyone over 30. If you're under 27, you get a 1/2 off membership and discounts on food and drink until your 30th birthday. Everyone else PAYS DOUBLE and gets no discounts. The result is that the entire house (events calendar, food, drinks, guest services) exists to cater to 20-somethings running amok in exceedingly overcrowded clubs at the expense of older members who subsidise their experience. So, the people paying the most get the least out of it. Also, they place members under a strict yearly contract and won't allow changes to their membership during the term. This means that one can't downgrade their membership or cancel early. Customer service is terrible in the houses, on the phone, and in the app. I'm convinced they're deliberately terrible to people over 30, hoping they will quit to help with the overcrowding problem. I recommend just staying away.

I wanted to join Soho House in Barcelona and completed an overly compliated membership application. After 2 weeks I had heard nothing from them, so asked to cancel the request.
This was confirmed by Soho House membership team in writing but then a month later they charged me for membership. Looks like they thought they could get away with it, as despite asking them to refund the money they took from me, I still have no refund - Is place a scam? They have taken over £300 from me and I can't get it back.

Disappointing Experience at Shoreditch House - Double Charged and No Resolution

I'm incredibly disappointed with the customer service I've received from Shoreditch House. I was charged twice for a dinner there, and despite sending all the evidence, my inquiry from May 28th remains unresolved.

For a club that prides itself on being 5-star, the lack of attention to this issue and the extended delay in resolving a double charge is unacceptable. I'm still waiting for my refund and I am very frustrated by this experience.

About as exclusive as IKEA in Croydon - only the foods not as good.

All staff encountered radiated warmth and were friendly. The venue decor is standard, a little dated and not necessarily 'instagram-friendly' as is often sought after by some people.

Restaurant staff should be uniformed, in my opinion, for a more polished and professional look/feel, with their clothes being fresh not visibly worn. The menus could do with bringing into the 21st century with more cultural variety. That said, the prices (for what are kid-size portions) are shocking especially considering the current financial climate.

Overall, a pleasant experience. However, for the money, you want an exceptional experience not pleasant.

Really disappointed. I expected to meet cool people--especially creative people--but most people are "digital marketers" or finance bros. They told me I can't cancel for almost a year and lots of other restrictions--so I'm just out a lot of money no matter what. Overall just a bad experience.

Shocking! Appreciate they have a members policy but being there all afternoon as a guest and being told to leave 5 minutes after our host left ! Seriously ? Not even welcome to finish our drinks. Utter snobs. Avoid!

Wax tales in Manchester , great night sick event really enjoyed it. Paris Armani you are a star best organised event ever. Star guests were really interesting , drinks fabulous, venue wow can’t wait for the next one

I’ve been a London based member for years, and I’m absolutely done with it. You’ve lost it guys. Sorry but you really have, what a corporate heap of finance bros and posers. Until my membership expires it’ll just be the world’s most expensive cloakroom to ditch my stuff in whilst I go literally anywhere else.

Was a member of Soho House NY and I would not recommend it. I cancelled my member ship 5 months before the annual fees were due and was still charged the subscription fee for another year and I’m told it will take “weeks” for me to get my money back! Absolutely ridiculous!!
