Welcome to the story of SmallRig
Since SmallRig was born in 2013, we have been in close communication and working hand-in-hand with users for over 10 years. As a result, we have developed 4 major user-oriented product lines, which are widely used in a variety of fields such as live broadcasting, vlogging, short videos, weddings, professional commercials, radio and TV, documentaries, and Hollywood filmmaking. Every idea, design, and product we create is inspired by and created for our users. With the user's voice in mind, we launched our "User Co-design" mode first in the industry and the DreamRig free customization project, allowing us to unite with global creators and use our small rigs to make big dreams come true.

Good quality
Good quality, fast shipping, nothing to say, I m waiting the batteries now (Sony the big ones) they said that I had to wait till 15th march I think it ll be shipped tomorrow then (16th cause 15th is a Sunday) hyped to receive it. Magic arm is really great and the light is so powerful. Really good quality.

Terrible packaging
Terrible packaging. The items were not in a box and that caused all the items packaging to be heavily damaged. The RF-10’s box was teared almost open. The item wasnt damaged though.

Great products
I can’t wait to put these well made innovative cases and mounts to work filming my adventures @vancity_streetbob. These offer great protection for my 360 cameras with lots of mounting options. This would be a 5star but I thought I was buying from SmallRig Canada…maybe I was, but it came from China with an unexpected extra $41 duty/taxes…glad I caught the items on sale.

I wouldn’t recommend buying directly from this website.
The main issue is the shipping with FedEx. In Japan, it’s one of the least convenient delivery services. They send a large number of emails asking to confirm things that often don’t make much sense, and on top of that I was charged unexpected import taxes.
After this experience, I ordered the same item on Amazon instead. It was much simpler, the price was basically the same, and there were no import taxes.
I really wanted to support SmallRig by ordering directly from their website, but in the end the process was unnecessarily complicated. From now on I’ll probably just buy whatever I need on Amazon, whether it’s SmallRig, Tilta, or another brand.
