US customers: Ordered $140 of product, got hit with $81 in fees. Brokerage and storage fees from FedEx, plus the customs and duties (tariffs) fees. Got hit immediately via text and email, hard, about paying up. Unbelievable. According to Skinlovers, it was Free Delivery.
If you do decide to order from them, don't click on the "Free delivery - FedEx" box, don't do it. Click the other box that says "prepaid". That way you only pay the customs and duties, not the FedEx bullshit fees.
Ordered on Aug 28, delivered on Sept 16. Box was bashed and torn open, completely open. The tape was cut and ripped. One of my facemasks was slit open and it leaked out all over inside the box. It must have been sliced when they cut open the box. They just pressed the tape somewhat back together; I don't know how it made it here without everything falling out.
They really need to be crystal clear about the shipping costs between the two options, right there on the order page. A cost breakdown right there, in black and white, so you can decide.
I will never order from this company again. That's just shady business. Be transparent.

A month and still no product

Product was great! I didn't realize it was going to bounce all over in the mail systems before it got here! I'll have to plan ahead next time!!

Yeah they take forever, the products are fine but you get hit with and extra 30-60 dollars in customs fees, I have been trying to get FedEx to waive the brokerage fee so it’s not so much and just pay the customs fees themselves, what a nightmare. If I had known, I would never have purchased from this company. Buyer beware, it will save you a ton of money buying from elsewhere. You also don’t know you will be billed I purchased my items in July and I just got a bill from FedEx today, in September.

Excellent product, fast delivery, good price

Quick postage excellent service

Disappointed in this company and my ordering experience. I paid $20 to have the two products shipped, and an additional $50 for shipping through FedEx, which was not disclosed at any point in time. The products I ordered only amounted to $30. Then the package arrives completely damaged with visible open areas of the box where anyone could have accessed the product and tampered with it. I’m surprised the products didn’t completely fall out in transit. When I contacted the company, I was told to just let a rep know if something smelled “off”.
I only buy skincare from good, quality companies, and thought this time I would try Skin Lovers. I was disappointed and overcharged.
This is definitely not a quality company and I will never order again. I’ll stick with French Beauty Hub.

The product I purchased is one that I have been using for some years but that I sometimes have trouble sourcing. I was delighted to find that Skinlovers could get it to me and most pleasantly surprised by the speed of delivery. I shall reorder it from Skinlovers when I next need it.

Bought Lazartigue on this site because it’s hard to find in Australia. They forgot 2 items but refunded me right away after I chat to them.

Another us customer unhappy about the duties I now need to pay almost a month after receipt of the merchandise. Most people don't read everything. The product is great but will never order from this place again

Warning to U.S. Customers

If you live in the United States, I recommend thinking twice before ordering from SkinLovers. A few days after my package was delivered, I received an unexpected FedEx bill for duties and taxes that were not clearly communicated during checkout. Had I known about these charges in advance, I would have chosen the prepaid option or not completed the purchase.

When I contacted customer service, they acknowledged my frustration but refused to offer any resolution or take responsibility for the lack of clear communication on their website.

Be aware that your purchase price may not be your final cost. You could receive an additional FedEx invoice days after delivery.

DO NOT ORDER IF YOU ARE IN THE USA
Their website doesn't tell anything about it, but you'll pay for the delivery AND FedEx will send you duty and fee receipt.
I paid $27 for the actual thing, $20 for the delivery, and FedEx also wants ANOTHER $46 for duty and fee.
Customer service is useless.
