Coach really comfortable. Plenty of leg room.
Really enjoyed the day, as timing very good on drop off and pick up.

Very much let down
Feeling let down to say the least is a big understatement.
We were looking for months and months to book this trip possibly being a once in a lifetime to celebrate a big anniversary and now after paying it all off and buying extra stuff we get a phone call to say it’s cancelled.
It’s not cancelled because they can’t get the drivers, it’s not cancelled because of what’s happening in the world - it’s cancelled because there isn’t enough bums and seats and they will not honour the trip.
To me this company is solely just relying on revenue, than looking after their customers, bearing in mind that the trip was not cheap.
I am so glad I didn’t tell my daughter where we was going because how do you tell a seven year old that their trip to Disney can’t be fulfilled because the coach company won’t travel due to not filling the seats?
I hope who ever gets a chance to travel with
this company in the future that your trips get fulfilled, as for us as a family we will not be using this service in the future.
Yes we did get a full refund - but this isn’t the point, as a business you have lost out not just on revenue from having to refund our trip but the chance of having returning customers.

Easy to book online BUT I’ve booked a seat at the front of coach but on the confirmation it says seat 22, booked a day trip 2 weeks back & got seat 24 which didn’t exist on the coach, very confusing as I spent 5 mins walking up & down the coach looking for my seat , please make it easier

Not very good
Not very good. I booked an event my autistic son no longer wanted to go to so I emailed to ask exchange v cancellation fees. After no response I applied to cancel then was told it's 50% to cancel or £10 to change. Of course I would have changed but oh well, lesson learnt

Really impressed with skills
Really impressed with skills. My brother doesn’t drive and used to pay a fortune for train tickets for days out. Then we looked skills and couldn’t believe what great value the days out are! He loves the trips and has been to Whitby 3 times and Blackpool. Always great friendly reliable service. Fab.

Easy,straight forward booking process
Can't remember the name of the Lady that booked my holiday to Jersey, but she was very polite + helpful, and excellent that you pick us up from home and take us to/from the Airport, all inclusive of the holiday price, too often you find that you have to make your own way to the pick up point......suggest you do this more often!

Optimum Trips
I took Mum on a Optimum day trip, these busses gave extra room so your not squashed in, the Twins who looked after us were helpful, knowledgeable & fun, I would recommend the Optimum trips & can’t wait to see if we can fit another in this year. The booking process was easy, you can pick where you want to sit, the confirmation & communication was professional.

My room as terrible
My room as terrible. The two mattresses should never have been on the beds. They were disgusting an so stained. If I had looked under the sheets I would never have sleeped on them. How they can call them selves a 4* I will never know. My shower was from the bath taps. There’s a screw in the dado rail holding the water pipe up. The room was so old fashion. Painted tiles was coming off. The bacon was swimming in fat first morning at breakfast so never had any again. The hotel we stopped in on the up there should be a 10* if the one we stayed was a 4*. Also why did Skills book a hotel that doesn’t do evening meals when we’ve been on the road all day an have to go out a pay for it .
