SIS was great to work with--the building and the conference rooms were easy to navigate and very clean. Facilitators and administrators communicated directions clearly, the food we got to try was tasty, everything operated on a timely manner, and we were paid in cash day-of.

The focus group l attended was very organized and super fascinating! The three hours flew by quickly as l was very engaged with the topic. Everyone at SIS was attentive and sought to make the experience enjoyable.

I have always had a positive and pleasant experience with this research facility. It’s conveniently located in Flatiron, next to several major train lines, so I never have any issue getting to the location (even on a weekend). The check-in process is smooth and quick, the staff are always polite and professional. The incentives for the projects are really good, in comparison to what some other companies want to compensate. And I’ve always enjoyed the wide range of topics discussed. Lastly, the compensation is provided quickly, as opposed to having to wait 4-6 weeks for payment in the mail like with other organizations. So all-in-all, I really like SIS and I look forward to participating with them again.

I participated in an in-person website usability study for a public sector client in December 2022. From start to finish communications with SIS representatives were timely, cordial, informative and clear. The focus group itself provided insight into how such an entity might go about designing a website to successfully meet the needs of its potential user base. The moderator was very helpful in guiding the group through the process, and quite amenable to answering questions and providing answers, resulting in a seamless process. I think not only did SIS and the client learn how the site could potentially be improved, but the participants as well learned how an entity might use participant interaction to guide itself in designing a website for optimal user experience. All in all an A+ experience.

I have done a few of these types of research focus groups and by far this one was the best. SIS was communicative and organized throughout the entire process. The directions were clear as to the steps we needed to follow during the actual surveying. The group I was in was insightful and I actually learned a lot about others and their observations and gained perspective on how others think. SIS made the payment process easy and the location is great in NYC. I hope I get called back to do more and interact with the staff and moderators again as they were very attentive and friendly.

I recently took part in an interview at SIS International Research to help test a new website. I was asked to give feedback on whether it was easy to navigate and find information? What I liked and didn't like about it, and did I understand what was being offered. It was my first time doing anything like this, and I have to say it was a very enjoyable experience.

The young woman who conducted the interview was pleasant, professional, and easy to talk to - I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. I also like knowing I have some small part in helping make something better. Highly recommend working with this company.

I have done studies for numerous companies and I want to genuine say that SIS International Research is hands down one of the best companies to do study research for. The biggest advantages with SIS International Research is that you get the payment right away after the study is completed! I've done research studies with some other companies and weeks go by when I don't hear from them and I have to actually pursue the company for my payment (I'm looking at you Schlesinger Group). I wish every other research group or company would take a note from SIS International Research because they actually care about their reviewers and researchers.

Delores is the best and makes the process super easy. She and SIS are professional, courteous and responsive. I really enjoy doing focus groups at their centrally located office in Manhattan which are fun and extremely well-run by the moderators. I even walkaway having learned a thing or two and the payment process is also timely. Looking forward to the next one!

This was a detailed focus group on a city website. The staff was professional and started the focus group quickly with no time to waste. We talked about the website and SIS lead the discussion so our conversation will provide her with useful feedback.

This was my first experience with SIS and it was truly wonderful. The recruitment process was seamless and I loved the fact that the recruiter was proficient but also personable. I did a focus group on testing a website to see if the functionality of website and if it was easy for anyone to use. I thought the time spent there was really good. It wasn’t too fast paced. The directions were clear I had a fun time. After the focus group ended we were paid immediately which was very nice! I recommend if you’re able to do a focus group with SIS International, to definitely try it out. There are very professional and friendly.
