I have been dealing with the company for many years but my last experience will be my last. I don’t know what happened something has changed. Had to special order batteries for my solar pump because the newer model batteries don’t fit my housing. Credit card was charged immediately on January 30. No communication after that. Called Friday Feb 6 and was told they would be shipped the following week. Friday February 13 was told that they would be shipped in 10 to 14 days because the warehouse in California was relocating. Asked for a refund. I hope that I see it.

This company operates under multiple names including Horus Energy, Silicon Solar.
They have been delisted from the official Australian Government solar provider list, so they use new names to get away with scamming people further, they are not eligible for government solar rebates.
Key warning signs:
High-pressure sales tactics and repeated unsolicited calls
Fake names and Gmail-based email addresses (not a company domain)
Caller numbers flagged as “scam alert” on Android phones
Representative arrived in a Horus Energy outfit despite booking being made through Silicon Solar
Refused to provide a written quote despite request
Claimed a system would cost “just” $71 per week for 6 years ($22,000 “after rebate”) a highly inflated figure.
Requested to see my driver’s licence “to check eligibility,” then attempted to get me to sign a “eligibility form” claiming it was for the rebate eligibility check (that they’re ineligible for). When I did not sign. They claimed if I didn’t sign by November the rebate would drop by over half.
Reported to scam watch and consumer affairs.
I saw on Facebook others noting they’re using multiple business names.

You have to order over the phone and they don't want any paper trail. And to get a return so far is non existences. It's like they fell off the edge of the planet. At first to get you to buy something they call all the time. Now nothing

Everything goes well with great managers. There is no dislike according to me. Compensation is quite Good. Like other companies Work pressure is high. No compromise. Work-life balance is too good when compared with other employment

My experience with Silicon Solar was great. Their customer service was very helpful. I wasn't sure what exactly I would need for what I wanted to accomplish, but they were able to recommend different products, that would help. So now my garden is solar powered :D Love it <3 The pumps and lights work great. Will order again for the next projects :)

Horrible customers service. They will let you purchase...but be prepared to jump through hoops for weeks to get a, "return authorization" from "the manager". Who, NEVER gives one. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

I wish I read the reviews before I placed order from them.

silicon solar doesn't accept online order, must make a phone call to place an order and wait for paypal invoice, the conversion on the phone left NO proof of what they said or promised unless you recorded the whole conversation. Now they denied everything that they promised me and refused my return even the light doesn't work since day 1(of course full charged).

Please read the reviews before you purchase from them. Never recommend this company.

I ordered a fountain pump, it shipped the same day, and was as described. I have set it up, and the water pumped just like it said it would.
