I thought I had seen everything in Magento extensions — but this one set a completely new negative benchmark.

I rarely write reviews, but what happened here needs to be shared.

❌ Major Issues From the Very Beginning

I purchased the Product Designer module for USD 699.
Immediately after installation: license invalid.
A new code didn’t help — instead, the developer simply disabled the license validation entirely.
This alone shows that the module is hardly tested in real-world environments.

⚠️ Core Features Not Working

Basic functionality was broken right from the start:

Variants (colors/sizes) couldn’t be added to the cart

Uploading .JPG files failed despite claiming JPG is allowed

Downloading print/source files didn’t work

One required file wasn’t generated at all

Designs with images larger than ~2MB couldn’t be added to the cart

Each issue required manual developer intervention — and often introduced new problems.
This is not how a professional or production-ready Magento extension should behave.

🔥 Critical Security Vulnerability

There is no MIME type validation when uploading images.
Any file can simply be renamed to .jpg, and the system will accept it.
For software intended for e-commerce use, this is unacceptable.

📄 Vendor Reactions

After several severe issues, I requested a refund:
Zitat: "So to honest, i think it is better to stop it right now and don't wasting our time anymore.
Please refund the payment, i will delete the app today. Or better i reinstall the magento instance."

The responses were evasive:
Zitat: "We will discuss this with our product management team and will get back to you"

Later followed by:
Zitat: "I wanted to clarify that the extension is working correctly for our other client ... However, we’re unable to issue a refund …"

I then asked for two real customer stores where the module is working.
Their response: they cannot show client shops and referred me only to their own testimonials — which did not inspire confidence.

⏳ More Than 2 Weeks and 30+ Hours Lost

After over two weeks of back-and-forth, countless errors and fixes, and a lot of wasted time, I deleted the module. The final answer about when the issues would be resolved was:
Zitat: "We are currently working on this issue … no exact ETA … next version …"

🎭 Marketing Promises vs. Reality

Their website advertises:

Lifetime access to source code

1 year of free support

45 days money back guarantee

In reality, none of these promises held up.

❗Final Verdict

This module is far from production-ready — unstable, incomplete, insecure, and unreliable.
Support is inconsistent, and refunds are denied despite a clear money-back guarantee.

Stay away — this product wastes time, money, and patience.

I have used their Delivery Date - ETA on Shopify.

For some reason, the app is not working.
The support is not responding, and this is literally the worst app i downloaded on Shopify.

Purchased an extension from Setubridge in April, unfortunately it wouldn't work completely with our Magento system. Contacted Setubridge support and they fixed the integration fully in 24hrs. Great to work with and recommended.

I've only just installed this app and needed some assistance during the setup. Support was very responsive, and answered within minutes. All the changes I requested were done very effectively and with ease. Have tried other similar apps and this is by far the best one. Tons of features, customisation options and templates. All for an affordable price. It has everything you need, no need to look anywhere else. This is a great addition to any website looking to have a professional look. 5 stars!

It's a scam! This is a lighthouse hack and it sees when pagespeed and GTmetrix check your website and it removes all scripts so the score goes to 99 but in reality what your customers see is the old loading speed! So please dont get scammed! IT actually slows down your website!
