My compact digital Canon camera has come back as good as new after a repair (mud had got into the zoom lens) and service. It wasn't cheap but I was impressed by the fact Sendean warned me the repair wasn't economic (as more than a 2nd hand replacement). But I decided it was worth it as I really like my camera and there was no certainty one I bought online would be in good order. Sendean were helpful and informative throughout.

Our analogue camera had severe water damage. They repaired and serviced the camera and the pictures taken are better than before. Service was good and communication was good. I would recommend.

Easy clear communication. My emails and questions were answered same day. Once I decided to go with service it was processed straight away and they did a great job.

The aperture control mechanism of the Minolta Dynax 7 has a known fault and will eventually fail. I sent mine to have the problem dealt with before that happened.
The report from the technician did not appear to address the issue and a member of staff had to explain that the repair would include changing the faulty gears in addition to a service.
I agreed to go ahead and the camera came back quickly but now inside a case badged as the Minolta Alpha 7.
This may seem like a very small thing but to some of us who like uniformity in our kit, it matters very much. It no longer twins with the Konica Minolta Dynax 7 D it used to sit next to.
I have attempted to get an explanation of why the change of case was necessary because it was not mentioned in the technician's report but so far no
response.
Update 17/02/2026
The manager telephoned me on the day the review appeared. He explained that there had been a mistake and arranged for the Royal Mail to collect the camera from my home the next day and return it to be put in the correct case.
This was the obvious thing to do and should not have required a review here to get the ball rolling in much the same way that it should not have taken three days to get a reply to my email.
However, I now have my camera back via Special Delivery and can say that the company responded quickly once the manager was on the case.

The staff quickly diagnosed the problem with an old camera, sent it off for repair and had it back quicker than I'd expected.

Sendean Cameras did an excellent job on my Contax G2. I sent in my G2 for an auto-focusing problem. An AF sensor assembly was replaced. The camera was re-calibrated and serviced. All in it took 3 weeks to complete. I would highly recommend Sendean Cameras for any camera repair and service.

They serviced, adjusted and cleaned my Agiflex camera which is over 70 years old. It came back looking like a new camera both inside and out. I can,t recommend them high enough and i will be out using it in the warmer weather.

Sendean found the fault in my canon lens and repaired it well within the estimated time. Not only does it work fine but I think the resolution is even better than before the fault developed. The company obviously know what they are doing.

Very professional service and very responsive team, and completed the repair on time within the official schedule published of around 4 weeks. Helped fixed my Canon M6 Mark II's broken hinges and flappy cable to attach my LCD screen back as usual. They also waive your inspection fee of £7 if you go ahead with booking a repair with them after you drop your equipment.

The company provides clear quote options for any additional fixes with options for full sensor cleaning and other testings, which you are free to choose and add to your repair order.

The only thing I'd say is their branch in London is not super accessible if you're based outside of the city, but they do have delivery service for both drop-off collection and delivering the repaired item back at around £25 for each way of you don't mind spending some extra money.

Will use it again and will recommend to anyone needing technical repairs for their cameras.

This time my Canon AE1 Program film camera and 50mm lens - unused for decades, shutter and other malfunction problems - gotta go to Sendean! As with other repairs over the years - previously an expensive lens broken in two, a dslr damaged top housing assembly and two pcb's - the work was accepted, carried out and my treasured equipment returned in full working order (and warranty) within a sensible time. Reception staff a pleasure to deal with, update emails and query replies swiftly sent. All this and near enough to buy Brick Lane beigels, perfect!
