Initial online quote was £2500. In person the quote the lady gave was £300 at maximum, advised it would not sell elsewhere just given to scrap. The maths they calculated for reducing the costs of the vehicle condition did not add up to £300. I sold my car elsewhere at a much higher price.

Hi Farah, thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're sorry to hear you feel you had a negative experience with us. Because we sell our cars directly to trade, allocations must sometimes be made for prep. Because your vehicle had no service history, no spare key, and major bodywork damage, among other issues, the price had to be lowered to a value more reflective of the condition of the vehicle.
We do appreciate the opportunity to purchase it though, and we're glad to hear you managed to achieve more elsewhere.

Definitely avoid this place. Don’t waste your time. The worst thing was that he called me and asked why I had left a review. He told me to look at my offer and questioned the customer service I had received. I felt uncomfortable with the way he spoke to me about my review.

The business has reviewed the records carefully and can see that two vehicles have been booked for appointments at our Sutton branch on the 21st. At the time of writing, neither appointment has taken place. We have therefore not had the opportunity to inspect or appraise either vehicle, discuss their condition with you, or provide you with an offer.
We would also like to clarify that the details provided when the appointments were booked do not show the vehicles as being registered in your name. Our vehicle checks also indicate that the vehicles have previously been recorded as insurance write-offs and do not currently appear to have active insurance.
We attempted to contact you by telephone earlier today to better understand the concerns raised in your review. Unfortunately, we were unable to discuss the matter with you on that occasion.
Given that no appointment, inspection, appraisal or offer has yet taken place, we are unclear as to which part of our service your review relates to. Nevertheless, we take all feedback seriously and would welcome the opportunity to understand your concerns. Please contact us directly and a member of the team will be happy to discuss the matter with you.
If you decide not to proceed with your appointments, we respect your decision and wish you all the best with the sale of the vehicles.

Very fair price agreed following assessment of the car and that price was in excess offers from 3 other well known car buying sites . The whole process was incredibly easy and hassle free . Great support from the sales people to complete the sale . Will definitely use again.

Did not sell
Staff were friendly but I did not sell my car to them as I was told there were lots of problems with it and the price was knocked down alot.
The salesman said that it was overheating and the coolant was leaking out, but what he had actually done was unscrew the lid on the coolant which made it overflow. I was also told there were engine faults, which there were not!

As part of our appraisal, we plug into the vehicle’s OBD port to check for any stored fault codes. Although the car didn’t have an engine management light showing, the diagnostic check did show faults, which we have logged on our system.
We’d be happy to share these with you if you’d like, as they may help explain some of the issues identified during the appraisal.
Either way, we’re sorry that we couldn’t offer you a price that worked for you, and we wish you the very best with your sale.

Tom was extremely helpful and really nice guy. They did knock me down on the original valuation but we reached an agreement both were happy with. A smooth transaction and the whole thing was very straight forward. Would use again.

Extremely pleased with the overall experience. Price quoted (good price), was price given. Very easy process, dealt with Steve D at Sutton Coldfield branch, who was very friendly and efficient (payment processed quickly). All done and dusted in less than an hour. I would highly recommend.

I'm not sure that I got the best price but I value clarity and certainty. I took my car in, it was inspected, we haggled then agreed a price. I handed over the keys and documents, they notified DVLA and paid the agreed price by bank transfer that day. Friendly and no nonsense service from Graeme - I would recommend.
