We are the importers in UNITED KINGDOM for the Franchi seed brand, the oldest family run seed company in the world but we are also passionate about the provenance and regionality of everything we sell. At Seeds of Italy you can find: Seeds / Provisions / Cookshop / Preserving / Tuscan Perfumery / Gifts / Italian novelties / Tuscan Wood Burning Oven Showroom. We were found to be the most ethical major packet seed brand by Ethical Consumer Magazine and we are also Vegetarian Society and Vegan approved and part of Slow Food UK. Franchi is a family run company and we value our customers very much which is probably why we're still in business after 7 generations in the same family since 1783! We are producers of rare and heirloom vegetable seeds with provenance.

Very quick delivery. Their seed packets contain many times more seeds than other suppliers and are therefore extremely good value. A broad product range too.

Very unusual range of seeds not available elsewhere.
A pity some are not available in smaller packets ( fewer seeds) and hence cheaper.
Still very efficient.

I’ve grown from Franchi seeds before
I’ve grown from Franchi seeds before, the prices are fair and the quantity allows me to experiment.
The only downside this time was that Royal Mail was longer in delivering than previously.

As useual excelent products and perfect delivery will allways use this company over others i have used in the past anyone thinking i am not sure please do not worry their after sales team are top and will not let you down

Outstanding Customer Service
The quality and service is always excellent, but this time was special. Because of a computer error at my end the wrong post code was given for the delivery address. Seeds of Italy have chased this up for me, and are now sending out replacement seeds, despite it being entirely my error.

Easy to order. Speedy delivery with garlic bulbs and broad beans to plant now and great Italian products to eat as a reward for the hard gardening!
