Highly recommended, useful with false claim

A valuable parcel was reported missing and our customer signed a statement it was not delivered.

After 1 month of 'investigation' the shipping company declared the parcel was lost. It took Secursus less than 1 day to find proof that the parcel was actually delivered!

It is great to receive compensation when a parcel is lost, but it feels even better when a scammer making false claims is not rewarded.

The online website is now also much improved, making it easier to file and monitor a claim.

We can only recommend using Secursus for peace of mind.

Great company and service!

Getting good insurance to protect shipments of many types of valuable items is not only difficult but often impossible. Secursus has changed all that - they offer affordable prices, excellent customer service and an easy to use system. Could not recommend them more highly.

I ensured my packages with Secursus for…

I ensured my packages with Secursus for international travel. An item was damaged in transit and so I opened a claim. I found out then that their insurance only covers business shipments, and not personal like mine. They none the less gave me some compensation, which covered the cost of the insurance if nothing else.

Responsive and helpful

Excellent quick response to my email request for a change of tracking number when the original courier failed to pick up my insured parcel. I’m not easily impressed, and have no links to this company other than as a customer, but Secursus was reactive and helpful.

⚠️ Attention à cette société ! ⚠️

J’ai fait appel à plusieurs reprises à cette société pour assurer des colis de grande valeur, et tout s'est bien passé tant qu'il n'y avait pas de litige.

Cependant, j’ai récemment subi une perte de colis d'une valeur de plus de 50 000 €. C'est là que les ennuis ont commencé. Dès l'introduction du sinistre, ils ont catégoriquement refusé de prendre en charge le dossier. Après de multiples discussions, ils m'ont finalement assuré qu'ils déclencheraient une procédure auprès de l'assurance dès réception de l’attestation de perte du transporteur. Un mois plus tard, je fournis l’attestation, et à partir de là, tout devient encore plus compliqué.

À chaque échange, ils trouvent un nouvel argument pour échapper à leurs responsabilités. Pire encore, j’ai exigé à plusieurs reprises, et ce dès le début, qu’ils me fournissent le nom de la compagnie d'assurance qui aurait couvert mon colis (Secursus n'étant qu’un courtier). Ils ont systématiquement refusé de divulguer cette information, malgré les demandes formelles de mon avocat.

Après insistance, ils finissent par admettre que mon colis n'a jamais été assuré sous prétexte que les conditions n'étaient pas remplies. Une révélation incroyable, car, en l'absence de sinistre, je n'aurais jamais su que mon colis n'était pas assuré malgré le paiement de 650 € pour l'assurance. Encore plus troublant : ils m'ont pourtant bien fourni une attestation prouvant que le colis était bien couvert à la date d’expédition. En clair, ils ont délivré un document sans valeur juridique, ce qui s'apparente potentiellement à un faux en écriture.

Cette société semble donc parfaitement rodée pour éviter toute prise en charge en cas de problème, tout en encaissant les primes d’assurance.

EDIT :

Secursus a entrepris diverses démarches auprès de Trustpilot pour essayer de faire disparaître mon avis. Après avoir fournit les preuves du litige, mon avis a bien été maintenu.

De plus, suite à mon avis sur TrusPilot, Secursus à immédiatement bloqué mon accès à mon compte. Il devient donc impossible d'accéder aux documents, conversation et historique de ma plainte.
Secursus ne répond pas non plus aux mise en demeure de mon avocat.

Il devient donc évident que quelque chose cloche dans cette société. Plainte déposée à l'ACPR : entre autres, ce courtier refuse de communiquer le nom de son assureur auquel il est censé avoir déclaré mon sinistre. Ce refus est contraire à Article L520-1 : Les intermédiaires d'assurance sont tenus de fournir à leurs clients, préalablement à la conclusion d'un contrat d'assurance, des informations sur leur identité, leur immatriculation, ainsi que sur l'identité de l'assureur et les caractéristiques essentielles de l'assurance proposée.

Cette façon de faire l'autruche semble donc révéler des pratiques plus que douteuses.

Plutôt mourir que nous indemniser

Pour prendre notre argent ils sont la, après plusieurs colis assurés tout s'etait bien passé, experience très fluide mais au moindre soucis, ils feront tout pour trouver un moyen de pas vous indemniser et c'est assez choquant a voir... On a l'impression de devenir l'ennemie numero un
Ils essaient même de mentir sur certains sujet afin de refuser votre dossier, vous demanderont toujours plus de documents, de beaux assureurs véreux et malhonnêtes
A éviter de toute urgence, vous verez par vous même au moindre premier sinistre

L’equipe de secursus ont tout fait auprès de trustpilot afin de supprimer mon commentaire, notamment le signaler en tant que « contenu illégal » ce qui n’a pas abouti, cela en dit long sur l’éthique de cette entreprise

L’ajout d’une référence est optionnel et non obligatoire, votre dernier recours est visiblement de menacer vos clients pour cacher vos pratiques, je ne suis pas le seul avec le même type d’expérience chez vous, à en lire les commentaires

Vous avez déjà signalé mon avis et celui ci a été refusé par l’équipe de trustpilot :

I run the 100% 5* rated music store Wax Musical in Culcheth - check us out for amazing guitars etc shipped worldwide. There is only one courier in the UK that can be trusted never to damage guitars and that courier will not insure musical instruments. The only solution? Insure separately with Secursus. First problem ever happened last month - courier delivered my parcel to an Amazon returns depotin error and there was no way to recover it. So I put my claim in with Secursus - I have received the full amount I insured, transferred into my bank account within two weeks. Very happy and will continue to use them.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. Parcel went lost and they wont refund regarding to their complicated T&C. They will find always a reason why they wont pay and refund. Especially with terms not in your hand to deal. The parcel was ordered as private delivery + signature required. Customer routed it to an UPS point and now they are claiming its not covered anymore. How should a shipper control this???
This is the worst customer service - they wont to get paid for zero coverage and it works best as long as there is no case

Firstly, two of our most basic shipping requirements were not met in this instance. The first is that the value or nature of the contents must not be indicated on the outside of the package. Unfortunately, your package had "handbag" clearly written on the exterior, which is a direct violation of this rule.

Secondly, our coverage only applies to direct deliveries with a signature. We explicitly informed the recipient via email not to reroute the package to a pick-up point, as this action voids the coverage. Despite this clear communication, the package was rerouted.

We were in the process of offering a commercial gesture as a goodwill measure for your claim. However, we were taken aback by the baseless legal threats and attempts at blackmail, suggesting that payment would result in the removal of negative reviews. We take such matters very seriously and must emphasize that we do not, under any circumstances, engage in such behavior.

We strive to provide the best possible service, and we regret that you feel this way. Nevertheless, we must adhere to our terms and conditions, which are in place to protect both parties and ensure fair and consistent handling of all cases.

Secursus quickly refund

The pack (a guitar) arrived broken at the destination (UK)
I just had to send documents on the Secursus web platform (it's easy to use and very simple to understand) , and Secursus refund me. The contact was quick and professional. I had another problem few month ago , and it was also quickly fixed. A very professional service. The best solution i know for extra inssurance.

Document your packing and shipping!!!

Overall good experience if you carefully read the requirements and make photos of every step. Packages need to be packed so that the goods sent are not identifiable. Short: do your homework first

I have used secursus to send two packages to Hungary. DPD as a parcel service does not allow insurances above a certain amount, so I had to use an external insurance service. Sure enough, one of the packages send got damaged.

Since I documented every step of the shipping progress and chose to send the items with a tracking number, I could open a claim with secursus. After 8 weeks and a multitude of requested documents and photos (which is totally understandable) I was able to get the full refund for replacing spare parts of the items damaged (monitor speakers in this case).

If something like this happens there is work to do and it is tedious, but: everything for solved and secursus acted professionally every time.

There is only one gripe and that is the website itself, which does not allow any useful interaction when using a smart phone. Requested videos could not be send by email since they were too large.

Apart from that: will use them again. Happily.

In May, Fedex lost me a parcel with a wristwatch. After some require documents from Secursus. I got paid by them after 5 days i submited documents to them. I will use their service for my business for sure

C'était notre première perte de colis et Secursus a été super efficace ! Je recommande totalement !…

J'utilise Secursus depuis plusieurs mois pour des envois de forte valeur. J'en suis super contente premier problème de livraison en plus de 6 mois, ils ont été super réactifs. Mondial Relay nous a perdu un colis en Belgique malheureusement. Secursus nous a remboursé la totalité du colis avec tous les documents envoyés. Cela a été très rapide et ils sont à l'écoute. C'était notre première perte de colis et j'espère la dernière mais Secursus a été super efficace ! Je recommande totalement !

got goodwill

i insured a couple of parcels worth thousands of euros during the last year.
everything was fine, till one got lost in transport.
i didnot know the terms&conditions in every detail, so my claim was rejected. but i got full compensation in goodwill very quickly.
that was a great relief.
