Easy process, great sales team, great delivery team. Really pleased with the quality of our sofa

We ordered a sofa from the Wolverhampton branch back in April, and it arrived yesterday. I wanted to share a balanced review of our experience so far.

The Good (5/5 stars for the delivery team):
The delivery crew was absolutely brilliant. They were efficient, tidied up after themselves, and took the time to give us a thorough demonstration of the recliner and charging ports. They even showed us how to take the sofa apart for when we eventually move, which was incredibly helpful.

The Sofa (3/5 stars):
The sofa itself is a bit of a mixed bag. Right away, the foam doesn't feel quite as robust or supportive as the model we tried in the showroom, though time will tell how it wears.

My main frustrations are with the finish and functionality:

Misaligned Armrest: The armrest isn't central—it is noticeably offset to the right, which is a bit of an eyesore.

Faulty Charging Ports: The built-in charging ports do not accept my standard charging cables.

Overall, it's a decent piece of furniture, but because of these immediate quality issues, I am very glad we opted for the additional warranty. I have some doubts about how well this will hold up over the years, but only time will tell.

16/07/2026 update. Thanks for the link, Lyndsey, but unfortunately I tried this after visiting the Wolverhampton store, but it will not allow me to send in photographs, even though they are JPEGs. Is there another way of providing you with the information?

Parts missing from sofa,which means a trip to local store to see if they have any spare. Delivery guys were not the happiest of people.

This is my second purchase of leather furniture from SCS, I found the purchase easy, staff were friendly and informative, my suite arrived on the day as arranged and within the given time frame,my suite was handled with care and put in place as requested staff were friendly and polite.

When I purchased the sofa the staff were really friendly and helpful and explained what each sofa did.
The delivery was excellent I was kept updated with delivery times.The 2 men that came were really friendly and professional.

Everyone at the store was helpful, kind, considerate,& gave us time to choose the sofa we wanted,nothing was to much trouble would recommend this store to everyone.

The store was impressive,spacious and looked immaculate.We were greeted in a quiet and friendly manner,and given basic information about different styles available. After a leisurely tour of the store we saw a couple of sofas we were interested in. Rav, manager, showed us different materials and colours available. No one was pushy and we felt comfortable at all times. We went back a few days later and have ordered two sofas and a footstool.

So welcoming and friendly and the aroma in the store is amazing

Visited the Wolverhampton branch . Beautiful sofas at an affordable price , staff were happy to show me around and advise what sofas would suit my needs. They gave me some quotes to think about.
