We’ve worked with ScraperAPI for years, but our recent experience has been shockingly bad.

Misrepresentation of terms: We were quoted $3,600 for 60M credits at 1 credit per Amazon request. After paying, they applied a 5-credit multiplier without ever disclosing this upfront, which meant our 60M plan was only worth 12M requests — a massive shortfall.

Constant contradictions: Their team changed their story repeatedly — sometimes saying it was a “new account,” other times offering “extra credits,” then denying affiliate commissions they initially promised. Every reply told a different version of the truth.

Unethical practices: At one stage, they even removed me from communication threads and tried to bypass me to directly deal with my client — completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

After weeks of back-and-forth, nothing was resolved. They refused to honor the terms they sold us and wasted significant time with misleading explanations.

👉 Bottom line: ScraperAPI misrepresented pricing, shifted terms repeatedly, and acted unethically. If you want a reliable, transparent provider, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
