I booked Savaari for the first time, specifically requesting a NEW, CLEAN Dzire car for a Delhi–Haridwar–Delhi trip. Apparently, “new & clean” was too much to ask.
👉 The car that arrived at Delhi Airport was banged up from the front, filthy inside, and clearly not maintained. To make matters worse, it was a CNG car and the driver stopped midway to refill gas — leaving passengers waiting 40–45 minutes outside in the heat. This was despite booking the cab a day in advance, which should have been enough time to clean and refuel.
👉 The passengers were traveling for their mother’s last rites in Haridwar, yet instead of showing sensitivity, the driver stopped midway on the highway demanding 50% payment upfront. He refused to move until paid, despite us already agreeing on 50% advance + 50% after completion. Extortion on the road — unsafe and unacceptable.
👉 The 4–5 hour journey dragged into 8–9 hours of fear and discomfort. At one point, the driver even admitted he was "feeling sleepy" - imagine the risk. On arrival, the driver demanded another ₹1300.
When I reached out to Savaari’s customer service, their response was shocking:
On the refueling delay: “How can the car move without refilling?”
On the driver’s behavior: “He was committed 50% advance, so he's just asking for the same !?”
No concern for passenger comfort, safety, or dignity. Their “solution”? A token reimbursement of ₹500 for hours of harassment, while refusing to cancel the return leg. After endless arguments from 11:30 PM to 1:45 AM, they finally cancelled — but only after squeezing another ₹1900 out of me for tolls, tax, CNG, Fastag, and who knows what else.
💥 In short: Savaari = False promises, zero accountability, zero support.
They will NOT help, NOT resolve, and will leave you stranded and unsafe.
❌ My advice: Never book Savaari. Don’t trust their marketing. Don’t risk your safety.

I felt unsafe due to the driver’s behavior and manner of driving throughout the trip.
The driver, Mr. KUMARAGURU G., operating vehicle TN-25-BF-2830 (AC Mid-Size Plus – Dzire), repeatedly drove in a rash and aggressive manner, including unnecessarily challenging or competing with other vehicles on the road. During the journey, he frequently watched cricket and news content on his mobile phone while driving and remained engaged in multiple personal phone calls, despite being requested several times to focus on driving and passenger safety.
The driver also repeatedly insisted that the air conditioning be turned off, despite the booking being for an AC vehicle. Further, he showed reluctance to drive within town limits citing traffic conditions and instead insisted that we use local auto-rickshaw services for portions of the travel.
At one stage during the interaction, I was subjected to inappropriate and insulting remarks, including being referred to as a “mental case,” which was distressing and entirely unacceptable customer conduct.
As I was travelling with my elderly mother, I no longer felt comfortable or safe continuing the return portion of the round trip and therefore chose to cancel the return journey to avoid further risk or confrontation. Despite this, I was still charged for the full round-trip booking.
This experience was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns regarding driver screening, professionalism, passenger safety, and customer grievance handling standards maintained through Savaari’s vendor network.

The driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. When I tried to take a photo of the meter reading, he misbehaved and said, “Aur photo le lo, ye clear nahi aaya hai.”
He refused to adjust his seat, leaving very little space for passengers. Throughout the journey, he was irritated, staring at family members in an uncomfortable way, and had issues with everything we did.
The most serious concern was his driving — he was sleep-deprived, even taking naps while driving, driving rashly and overspeeding. We narrowly escaped multiple accidents. Despite repeated requests, he did not slow down.
He also shouted at us during stops, played vulgar music, and behaved disrespectfully with family members, including my mother.
Overall, a very unsafe and stressful journey. Not expected such unprofessional behavior.
Not recommended.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I can't give -0. Bad customer service and horrible driver. Not one word on English, cheated us by taking us to places we didn't ask and over charging. I had to call and argue and the driver said he accidentally added more milage, yeah right. I still ended up over pay by 1000 rupees. His name was Shivaji, a bad guy. He ruined my day/trip because I only stayed there for 2 days.

Driver Misbehavior and Billing Issues During Bangalore–Mysore–Wayanad Trip
My 3-day trip from Bangalore to Mysore and Wayanad (Trip ID S0925-9***637). Unfortunately, the experience was made stressful due to the driver’s behavior and conduct:
- The driver engaged in rash and unsafe driving, which caused significant discomfort.
- He repeatedly purchased snacks and cool drinks and we had to cover the costs. While we were happy to provide meals, his personal expenses far exceeded ours and felt inappropriate. It was like we taking him and taking care of him and he demanded so.
- Night charges were added to the bill, even though we never traveled during early morning or late-night hours.
- Despite repeated requests, the driver did not show or share the required interstate permits, leaving us uncertain about compliance.
We had hoped for a pleasant and worry-free trip, but the driver’s actions created unnecessary stress and dissatisfaction. Savaari should give oppurtunity to write these but the feedback form was closed in short time. With these drivers your credibility has gone way down. And dont ask further details just for the sake as you have asked for your reviews. This is more than enough with Trip ID, date etc for you to clearly fetch what ever details you want.

I booked and paid for a journey for 8990 INR, missed my flight, and was charged a (reasonable) 1000 INR cancellation fee. But despite multi occasions chasing - which they ignored - they failed to refund the 7990 difference.

booked an Innova Crysta specifically for comfort on a 4-hour journey. I was explicitly promised a vehicle no older than 2022, and I paid a significantly higher price for that guarantee.
What arrived was clearly an older Innova, with poor suspension, resulting in an uncomfortable ride throughout the trip. The service did not match what was sold, and the premium price was therefore unjustified.
I have had far better experiences with other providers. This booking felt like paying extra for a promise that was simply not honoured.

Our experience with Saavari.com tours and travels was extremely disappointing and stressful.
At the time of booking, we were promised a complete Shimla–Manali tour covering around 1010 km. However, the actual trip was totally different. In Manali, we were taken only to Mall Road, Solang Valley, and Hidimba Temple, which was hardly 20–25 km.
The driver refused to go ahead, stating that he was waiting for confirmation from Saavari.com. We were left stranded in the middle of the valley in cold weather with 3 girls and 2 women. Despite repeated calls, customer support did not respond, and no one took responsibility.
Our entire day was wasted, and later we were forced to pay additional money directly to the driver and manage personal travel ourselves. Even after the incident, no one contacted us to check on our safety or resolve the issue.
This was not just poor service but also unsafe for family travelers.

I strongly advise others: Please do not take risk with Saavari.com, especially when traveling with family.

This was the worst taxi service experience I have had across all ride services I’ve used. Despite the booking being confirmed and prepaid, we were unable to start the trip because the required OTP was not delivered to my international phone number. We were forced to wait nearly 20 minutes while the driver made multiple calls and we contacted customer support, as the vehicle could not be started without the OTP. If your system cannot send OTPs to international numbers, then international numbers should not be allowed during booking, or there should at least be an option to receive the OTP via WhatsApp, especially for travelers. Even after reaching the destination, we had to contact customer support again to get another OTP just to end the trip. The entire process was chaotic, poorly designed, and extremely inconvenient for a fully prepaid ride.
The very next day, to avoid OTP issues, I booked using an Indian number and selected a sedan for two suitcases—the same option I had used the previous day. However, the taxi provided was a Swift Dzire with a gas cylinder and the driver’s belongings occupying the boot, making it impossible to properly fit even one medium suitcase and one small cabin bag. Customer support claimed this was because I did not select a “carrier” option, which was never required earlier for the same luggage. As a result, three of us were forced to sit cramped in the back for a four-hour journey, with luggage kept near the driver. No proper explanation or solution was offered—only that this is “how the service works,” which is completely unacceptable.

Beware. Savaari has many unwritten rules. Travel plans were ruined by these clauses. Customer call r grivance contact could not show me where the rules are written.
They do not bother honouring the booking contract, but instead favour the driver's interest of saving kilometers and cause inconvenience to the passengers.
Driver quality was not good, he did not use a handsfree phone and was talking frequently on the phone while driving, also watching reels etc while driving.
Car did not have an inbuilt navigation system on dashboard neither the phone was mounted on a phone holder to see map. Driver was driving by
keeping the phone on his lap.
Driver did not take enough breaks and was eating lunch while driving, also driving aggressively, so that he can save time and get another booking after finishing ride. Looks like Savaari does not have a policy to enforce break between long rides and between two trips. This is putting passengers' life at risk.
Car was not cleaned properly before ride.

I have used Savaari several times and I can say it is a great and affordable way to move in long distance cabs around India. I have noticed there is usually an extra km fee but nothing outrageous and usually 500-1000 INR above original price which is always very affordable. I am very happy and will continue to use their services!
