Just the rating it deserves
Just the rating it deserves. Bad password change validations on website. Will take any password but wont log you in. So round robin password reset process. Cannot find record but no clue that you got to register first to be found. Debit card payments identified as Credit card payments and denied. Only call back service available. In the era where no one trusts call backs this is not reliable. Samsung as usual puts in place the system and does user testing on customers then take ages to iron things out leaving customer experience at low end as usual. Just reminds me of how the online ordering system and errors were a year back.

We do support debit card payments, but credit card payments are not accepted.

Overcharging and rude support AVOID
multiple counts of over charging me by "accidentally" taking two payments at once then taking a month to return said money. rude and sarcastic customer support. just pay outright and avoid this terrible company.

Charged me for Care+ twice after closing the account. I disputed but accepted defeat and paid to avoid more damage to my credit report! I HATE SAMSUNG FINANCING! I'm thinking Apple for my next phone.

DO NOT USE SAMSUNG FINANCE/TD BANK
I ended up paying for a pair of headphones twice due to poor online account services. Because their website was so screwed up, I never received e statements and could not log on to make payments. When TD Bank finally sent a paper statement, I paid the amount IN FULL. Months later I received a $90 bill stating that a $5 dollar late fee had never been paid. Between the horrible website and the customer service, this was THEE worst finance company I have had the experience with. I am filing a complaint with my state's revenue office due to this experience.

Not worth the trouble!
Their system flipped my routing and account numbers; I got charged return fees for their system messing up. I called and was assured it was fixed and auto pay was running. Yeah, it was NOT. It tried to charge with the same messed up info, accruing more fees that should not exist! Now the account is not eligible for autopay when the issue is 100% on their end and they had been contacted over it previously. I would only recommend using their financing to people if you want a headache.

I've used Samsung finance for a few…
I've used Samsung finance for a few months and been ok. However today, I have received a message saying my account is in arrears.
This is because the system has not recognised today is a Sunday and the payment won't be taken until tomorrow as per the terms and conditions. Having no access to a human to discuss this is not cool as my first thought was that my bank account had been defrauded

We're sorry for the confusion caused by the message about your account being in arrears. This was due to a one-off technical issue linked to the clock change in March 2023, which affected how our system recognised payments due on a Sunday. In cases like this, payments are taken the next working day in line with our terms and conditions, but unfortunately, the system generated an incorrect arrears notification in error.
We understand how worrying this must have been, especially when it wasn’t immediately clear what had caused the message. We’ve since fixed the issue and taken steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
