Hi Sam, The battens are bubble wrapped inside the lower section - this is the safest place for them to be during transit. I have replied to your email to this effect as well.

The ordering and shipping experience…
The ordering and shipping experience was straightforward and speedy. However, the Ovi White gelcoat doesn't perfectly match my Ovi ILCA's color, appearing slightly grey, though not as grey as the newer models.

Hi Douglas, thanks for the review. Gelcoat match is a tricky one. Boats discolour over time through UV and other environmental factors which means a perfect colour match is unlikely, but will be close.

Prompt delivery every time! Placed an order on Sunday, and it was in my hands by Tuesday, even with 2nd class shipping. The part was offered at the most competitive price, and their communication was excellent throughout. I wholeheartedly endorse them!

Gelcoat colour match poor
Order process and delivery process was simple and quick. Unfortunately the Ovi White gelcoat is not a good colour match with my Ovi ILCA, being a slight grey colour but not as grey as the more recent built boats.

I am very happy with the item supplied also no issues with Royal Mail who delivered it. However what took you so long (13days) to process the order. Just as well I had a spare tiller!
