The power boat level 2 weekend with Safewater exceeded all expectations.
Andy and Pete were very knowledgeable and welcoming.
Spending most of the course on the boat, learning all the skills and maneuvers was enjoyable and fun in Andy's capable hands as a superb instructor.
The classroom part was likewise interesting and hands on, with little activities lightening the theory part delivered by Andy and Pete.

I had a fabulous weekend, completing the level 2 powerboat course.
Pete and Andy made us feel very welcome and their knowledge on all things nautical is outstanding.
Spending a good chunk of time on the boat and learning all the skills was very enjoyable and useful.
The classroom part was fascinating, too, learning about lots of areas such as route plotting and ships' knots.
Safewater must surely be the best company to go with in the uk .

I recently completed my Powerboat Level 2 course, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience from start to finish. The course was well structured, striking the perfect balance between theory and practical hands on training.

The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and clear in their explanations, which made even the more technical aspects easy to understand. I felt fully supported throughout, and was warmly welcomed. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly.

I’d highly recommend everybody to do there courses through safewater training.

Just completed my RYA intermediate Powerboat course with Safe Water Training. The course was both fun and challenging at the same time. But the teachers Pete and Andy were so Knowledgeable on the water and both gave us the confidence to use the lessons taught in the class room out on open water.

What makes this place different to the many other RYA training centres is they make you feel so welcome. And the level of training and expertise shared is by far second to none.

Just completed the VHF radio course, excellent training provided by Pete, in a great classroom environment, made the subject matter interesting and engaging. I did my VHF SRC training at Safewater Training today. Safewater's friendly approach to teaching meant nobody felt their questions were stupid or trival. Feedback was delievered by the instructor with a smile. Having the opportunity to practice on the exact equipment used in our exam was for me a huge plus.

Huge thanks to Pete and Andy for putting on a First Aid course for us at short notice. Andy used his clinical knowledge and practical experience of medical emergencies to deliver a course that was informative and interesting - for example clearly explaining the reasoning behind current CPR protocols. The dummies were all very well behaved and allowed us to thump their chest with no complaints!

I am a Power Boat Instructor. I very recently completed the Power Boat Intermediate course with a group of friends.

The location is great. There is free parking close to the premises and near the launch site. The traning room is very well equipped with charts, 2B pencils and navigation tools. They also have my favourite piece of technology : A Kettle.

Pete and Andy were very welcoming and made every effort to ensure that all questions were answered.

It was a treat being on the Mersey with it's incedible history and fascinating traffic. On the water we had plenty of "helm" time and were given the opportunity to try out many variations to the "set pieces" such as MOB and turning in a confined space.

The training boat was "coded". In terms of equipment, it was one of the safest boats I've ever been on. In addition, Pete and Andy are continually vigilant regarding your well being as their highest priority.

Just completed my Powerboat level 2 course , I can only totally recommend Pete and his fantastic team for such a knowledgeable and enjoyable course . Totally professional and relaxed format . To summarise how good it was my wife and two daughters have already enrolled for a future course ! That to me says it all , how good it was . Totally enjoyed it .

I did my Level 2 powerboat training with Safewater and I had a brilliant experience. The lead instructor Pete is super friendly and knowledgeable, and really took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. He made sure I understood all of the theory and was very happy to go over anything that I couldn't quite grasp, and break it down.

The centre is lovely and clean and the team are really hospitable. I was always offered drinks by Ruth and made to feel really comfortable there.

Their equipment is also really new and clean, and the drysuits are warm and don't leak which is rare!

Overall a fantastic course, delivered by a lovely team. I will definitely be back to do more courses in future. Thank you!

I did the PWC and they fitted us in when the shop was closed. Nothing was too much trouble.

The theory side Peter answered all my questions and made it fun and enjoyable.

Had an absolutely brilliant day out getting my pwc proficiency with these guys. Their whole team works like clockwork and nothing is too much trouble and there are no stupid questions. They shared a lot of their experience and knowledge which is particularly invaluable locally as well as in general. They genuinely want everyone to have fun on the water and to do it safely They give you all the practical and theory based skill required to do so. The entire team was brilliant they really make you feel your in safe hands and are willing to help any body. Can’t thank them enough for this great day I learnt so much and feel more at ease knowing the local support that is on hand should ANY issues arise. Thanks again to all the team ! Brilliant!

I did my scr/vhf 1 course over the weekend the course was very well put together and understandable, the staff were very good, and I've been trained by the best (royal navy).
