The Specialist in clinical TMS treatment for mood & anxiety disorders. TMS is a ground-breaking treatment for severe depression with over 40 years of thorough clinical research and development. The rTMS Centre opened in 2015 after the NICE guidelines approved TMS as an effective treatment for clinical depression. Repetitive transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) is a completely non-invasive treatment that stimulates brain cells in specific areas of the brain. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatment has become an effective treatment for clinical depression, especially where other therapies such as medication have failed. TMS treatment has been acknowledged & approved by NICE & FDA for the treatment of clinical depression. How does TMS work? The brief and highly focused magnetic pulses stimulate specific regions of the brain: the left pre-frontal cortex (PFC) for the treatment of severe depression. The magnetic pulses that pass through to the brain have an excitatory effect on the left PFC, inducing brain activity. This results in a significant improvement in positive mood regulation and the executive functions of the PFC. Is TMS safe? “Yes, TMS treatment is non-invasive, which means that needles or anaesthetics are not required for the procedure. NICE states that TMS treatment has minimal risk and is safe for the treatment of mental health disorders.”

An centre of excellence for rTMS
I have no hesitation in recommending the rTMS centre. Nima and Dr Mata genuinely care about what they do and put you at the centre of everything. If you are thinking about having rTMS then you won't find a better place to go.

A positive experience
Dr. Matta and Nima were both welcoming and understanding about my personal situation.
Nima was always very pleasant, caring and helpful throughout the course of my treatment. He was very informative and was able to answer my questions in a supportive manner.

A professional, pleasant consultation :-)
My initial consultation through the RTMS Centre was, welcoming, informative and most of all, a warming experience. This was due to the caring, sensitive approach by both, Nima and Dr Matta.
Nima, my initial contact, settled my anxiety with a light hearted conversation and caring manner, this put me at ease before meeting Dr Matta.
Dr Matta thoroughly went through my previous and past health conditions, followed by an informative talk about the treatment. All my questions were answered clearly, leaving me positive and looking forward to starting the treatment.

Nima has been excellent. he responds quickly to requests and if he misses your call he calls you back promptly.
He is polite, patient and explains things clearly.
His good customer care skills definitely played a part in our booking with the centre rather than another company.
Very satisfied and I would highly recommend the centre.

Something wonderful as happened to me
I had been suffering with depression for over 30 years It is a crippling and severe condition and so difficult to live with You lose everything in your life friends family relationships nobody can cope and understand your condition I was feeling that there was know way out of this terrible existence but now something wonderful as happened in my life called rTMS treatment I had 20 treatment but from my first treatment I had no depression The treatment was very relaxing and very friendly and professional it as taken some time for me to getting used to living with no depression it as been a wonderful experience for me
