Purchased a range rover from this Rs motors 13th may 2026. Within 2 weeks we had a garage check it out as it didn't feel, sound or smell right. The amount of work needed was unreal, to the point that the independent garage wouldn't touch it & we had this dealership collect the car. The only reason for this purchase is that my partner has cancer & we have foster children so needed a decent, automatic big car for him to be as comfortable as he can no longer drive a manual. The dealership has fought this return every step of the way costing us over £2k in car hire & the finance payments on top. It's very concerning how there were not even 1 advisory on the MOT 500 miles before. It is now 09/09/26 & I'm only down the £2k for car hire. Although had to redo my google review. Let's see if this 1 gets reported too. Happy to upload the report that RS motors actually paid for if I need to, interesting read!

7 months of hell!! Wouldn’t answer calls or messages. Car broke down just coming off the A1. Had no oil in engine. Apparently got fixed after having to fight for it to go back. That in itself was a nightmare, they didn’t turn up finance company had to step in and recover the car! Anyway on the way home it happened AGAIN! Ombudsman upheld my decision for an unwind. But AGAIN RS motors didn’t turn up! So once again finance company stepped in and got it recovered. RS motors are absolutely vile people to sell dangerous cars! How they sleep at nightmare is beyond me!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save the stress and go somewhere else.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I bought a Range Rover , paid for it to be delivered, they kept letting me down , they eventually delivered it with a broken injector, car was full of fumes , they eventually took it back to repair but repairs was not done , they said to get another garage to repair it, then the automated gear selector broke , then the coolant system leaked to cut a very long story short out of 6 months it was off the road for repairs 5 months , I had finance of ZUTO , both ZUTO AND RS MOTORS lied throughout, DO NOT TOUCH THIS DEALERSHIP BE WARNED

Zero stars.. we’re so I begin with RS Motors, purchased through Zuto on the 24th April Orange landrover discovery so if you see it on there website stir clear of it,
I had to ring them 25thApril as keyless entry wasn’t workng, they came out and sorted the issue, anyway move forward to the 30th April and I took the car for an independent inspection, loads of issues came up, surprisingly the vehicle had only just passed the MOT with no advisories.. RS Motors took the car back and said they would resolve the issues, had the car 11 days before returning it, week after issues with temperature guage, again went back had a further 7 days.. had the car back 4 days for it to breakdown, and I had to be recovered. RS Motors had the car 47 days and said no fault found (it went into limp mode, loud engine like it was going to blow up and red light flashing oil critically low) which it wasn’t as we had checked 2 days before.. anyway we had the car back 2 days and drove a total of 48 miles before it broke down again, every warning light flashing the engine sounding like a plane taking off, I have had the car inspected and I have 3 pages of code faults, the one where RS Motors said no fault found.. absolute cowboys, Ive now started the process of an unwind with the finance company, reporting to trading standards, motoring ombudsman and DVSA.. and I will get every penny back through small claim court if I have too
With the amount of bad reviews I am surprised this company are still in buisness

Travelled over 6 hours to collect a car. They knew we were going yet the car wasn't there.
Waited over an hour as it was away being tracked and 'valeted'
Car eventually arrived and was not as described. Large deep scratches, a few small dents and the engine bay had a horrible smell of diesel and was covered in oil even though they had clearly just tried to wash it off (engine was wet)

Car had not been valeted at all and the owner was not there. The staff were far from helpful and showed no compassion despite our lengthy travel to get there and weren't bothered about how we were getting home

Absolute scam artists don't go here report them to the dvsa and the motoring ombudsman

Where do I start…. I purchased a Range Rover evoque 3 weeks ago. Within a day I and my husband (who is a highly skilled mechanic) spotted a coolant leak. Took it back to the garage where they made me wait 1.5 hours to tell me it wasn’t a coolant leak and was just the aircon. Spoke to me like a child.
As a female what do I know right ??
The move I drove the car the more problems appeared. A DEFINITE coolant leak considering it’s all over my drive.
Torque converter has failed.
Noisy drive train.
Poor brakes
A scrap yard engine
An almost bald tire on the inside wall
Body work held together by wood screws.
Excessive vibration from 60mph
Jerky gear box
Thermostat failure meaning the car doesn’t come up to functional temperature.

On a number of occasions I have text them and called them, just to be ignored.
They finally answered the phone and told me they would “pencil in recovery” of the car. Which is currently collecting dust on my drive way. I’ve sent them multiple emails also with zero response.
I’ve contacted the finance company who are doing an investigation. I paid 10k for this car and it’s not even worth £20!
How it got through “MOT” with the body work screwed together with wood screws I’ve no idea.

I am absolutely furious. I am 100% certain they know about these faults and just decided to take a risk with someone without knowledge buying it. Unfortunately for them I’m very clued up.

Before anyone says you should have noticed the faults.
I test drove the car literally around the block it’s all they would allow due to lack of time. And these faults I noticed day 2 of owning it. 3 weeks later I’m stuck with a sack of shit sat on my drive way looking like a pretty ornament because that’s all it’s good for.
I’ve contacted trading standards and DVSA for fraudulent MOTs.

Worst car dealership ever

I got on Finance a 2017 f pace jaguar from rs motors in Nottingham and they sorted a mot and gave it a service before I received it put £2500 on deposit and £350 delivery charge was delivered so I booked it in with jaguar maidstone for a health check and they told me to send it back because need a new engine and brake sensors not attached and tracking off none of that came up on MOT so I rang my Finace and rejected it on the 23 march same day I had health check with Jaguar the car was collected 11th April car was collected and the process started to liquidate it all brokers Finance and dealers agreed it’s been rejected and should have had my money back by 30th but car dealers are ignoring calls and making it hard I have a disabled son and a daughter I can not get to school and no means to put money on another car
The whole process has been dragged on for nearly 2 months and the have collected the vehicle 3 weeks ago and still not returned my deposit even though the rejection of the vehicle has been agreed by all parties involved and from information I have found online I am not the only one they seem to do this a lot to anyone sell them broken car and withhold money and ignore calls and put phone down on me and block my number

They now have the jag back for sale and most likely not fixed the issue the plate is DC17 XPE

A chaotic and amateurish car dealership that has no concept of professional customer service or care for business reputation. The only feedback I can give which is not negative after a farcical abortive car purchase process is that my deposit was returned. Zero compensation or apology for the £300 additional costs and 3 weeks time I wasted which was caused directly by this business’ incompetence. Possibly the most disorganised and unprofessional business I have ever encountered at any level in any industry. Save yourself the same pain and avoid, no matter how much you like the car.

I’m purchased a vehicle through here march 27th 2026. Although the car came with a full MOT completed on 16th March and we were assured as were the finance company that they check their own cars before selling even though they use elsewhere for the MOT, we got home to notice some rattles and so on. Took car for health check to my local garage and were told ‘ we are surprised you and your kids are still alive after driving this, it shouldn’t have been sold to you it’s in illegal condition’
Multiple things wrong with the car, breaks unsafe none of previous MoT advisories from 2025 MOT had been completed and they were now all failures, oil leaks, exposed wires, and no DPF filter.
We reported to police and trading standards and DVSA. The garage owners could not care less and were not helpful at all. Told us we financed the car so why are we bothered just leave the car and let the finance be sorted by the finance company. They could not care less that they sold us a death trap and I would be very very careful.

Staff was really helpful provided great service and car buying process was really easy as well👍

I highly recommend RS Motors based on the first hand experience. I visited them and was welcomed to their show room. I felt safe, secured and in the right place. I was served by a team of dedicated expert car sellers. I can't say enough of their exceptional services. Give them a visit too.

Do not buy from these con men. We bought a Land Rover Discovery Sport from RS Motos in November, for the car to then break 6 days later. We have been pushed from pillar to post in regards to investigations, what is happening with the car. Fast forward to today, this car is still in their possession, we’ve had no updates. We are being pushed back and fore between Zuto & RS Motos.

They’ve refused to fix the car, they’ve not offered us a replacement and they have also already sold the car that we have part exchanged. After numerous attempts of communication, it had resulted it in our numbers being blocked.

If you value your money, do not bother purchasing anything from this garage!
