A good price was offered for my Rolex and the transaction was extremely smooth and professional. I had initial dealings with Asil via WhatsApp which may feel a little unconventional but we also had a couple of phone conversations when Asil explained that due to the information I had provided for my Rolex that this made it easier from his side as the buyer (I had expected perhaps more in terms of verification) but he explained that as I had had the watch from new and all the relevant papers that this gave everything that he needed. Once a price was agreed the transaction was very smooth. I arranged to meet Asil at my nearest train station and following a trial monetary transaction, the actual in person transaction was very quick and easy. Matthew who I met in person had completed a form (buying form) and then the money was sent to my account and then the watch was provide - whole transaction took no more than 20 minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for a watch sale as although I initially was cautious having never sold an item like this, it was all simple and smooth.

Met up with Asil at his Manchester office and the whole process was seamless. Inspection and payment were completed within 10 minutes, genuinely impressive efficiency. Fantastic service throughout, and I achieved the price I wanted with the added convenience of an in-person transaction. Asil was fantastic, Highly recommended.

Before proceeding, I did what most people would do and thoroughly checked Trustpilot. One particular review — posted by an Inland Revenue inspector, Dave, on 19th March 2026 — stood out and genuinely reassured me. As a magistrate myself, I’m naturally cautious and very aware of the importance of dealing with reputable, transparent businesses.

I spoke directly with Asil, and most of my concerns were immediately put to rest. I also carried out my own checks on the company via Companies House, which further confirmed their legitimacy and professionalism.

I was also reassured by the clear explanation of the due diligence required for a high-value transaction such as this, including compliance with anti-money laundering regulations, which added an extra layer of confidence to the process.

After a short and very straightforward negotiation, we agreed a fair price for the watch. Asil happened to be travelling past our area on his way to London, so my husband collected him from the station and the transaction was completed at our home.

Everything was handled seamlessly. A small test payment was made in advance to confirm bank details, which gave additional reassurance, and the full payment was transferred promptly and without any issues. The entire process was very speedy and efficient.

From my own research, the pre-owned Rolex market is increasingly moving online. Authorised dealers are tightly controlled by Rolex themselves in what they are permitted to display and sell, including restrictions around pre-owned pieces in their shop windows. In that context, Rolex Watch Trader feels like a genuine find.

After contacting numerous watch dealers, Rolex Watch Trader (RWT) provided a competitive price for my father's vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, which was part of his estate. The process involved a verbal offer over the phone from a gentleman from the company named Asil, after I had filled in a form on the company website and submitted it along with detailed photographs. I was then again contacted by Asil, and a one-on-one meeting was arranged to have the watch examined. The company has premises in London and Manchester. I met Asil in the Manchester office, thereby avoiding having to mail the item for inspection, as would have been required with many other dealers around the country. Asil was friendly and professional; RWT's office was clean, bright, comfortable, and tidy, in a modern high-rise building downtown. After a careful examination, and a short discussion over a minor flaw in the clasp, Asil stuck with the agreed price and funds were deposited in my account immediately. All in all, a very smooth and professional process, from beginning to happy conclusion.

Being an ex-Inland Revenue investigator I was always overly cautious when dealing with dealers to source a 126067-002. A number of traders advertising Rolex watches failed even the basic checks (dissolved companies, incorrect VAT numbers, disqualified Directors, no trading history, insolvent etc) but Asil and Rolex Watch Trader all passed (accounts current and solvent, Asil has undertaken the recent Companies House ID check, good history, VAT number checked out with HMRC).
Initial correspondence all good with calls and WhatsApps, photos sent and deposit made (Bank also confirmed company name and account was a match).
Visited the offices in Berkley Square in person and it Asil (and Matt in the background) are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Watch came with all the right paperwork and he even removed a link there-and-then. Very happy and a great transaction - he even recommended a couple to keep an eye on for the future.
