I purchased the “Choose to BE RICH System with 6 FREE LIVE and Interactive Sessions” course for USD 395, which was supposed to include lifetime access. A few months later, the course was removed without notice. For over six months, I have been trying to get a refund, but customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful. Very disappointing experience.
Rich Dad Poor Dad is a personal finance classic that has inspired millions to rethink the way they view money, work, and wealth. First published in 1997, Robert Kiyosaki’s book presents financial lessons learned from two father figures: his own biological father—the “Poor Dad”—and the father of his childhood best friend—the “Rich Dad.”
Review of Robert Kiyosaki’s Books
Robert Kiyosaki’s books, especially Rich Dad Poor Dad, have had a lasting impact on how people think about money, investing, and financial education. His writing style is simple yet engaging, making complex financial topics more accessible to everyday readers. What stands out most is the contrast he draws between his “rich dad” and “poor dad,” which helps readers see the difference in mindset between traditional and entrepreneurial approaches to wealth.
Kiyosaki doesn’t just focus on saving money or budgeting—he pushes readers to think differently, encouraging them to build assets, understand cash flow, and take control of their financial future. His emphasis on financial education fills a gap that many feel is missing from formal schooling.
While some critics argue that his advice lacks detailed, actionable steps, the broader messages—such as the importance of passive income and financial literacy—are powerful and motivating. Books like Cashflow Quadrant and The Business of the 21st Century build on these themes, offering a framework for people who want to break out of the traditional employee mindset.
Overall, Kiyosaki’s books may not offer a complete financial plan, but they are a great starting point for anyone who wants to think differently about money. They inspire readers to learn, invest, and take charge of their future.
BEWARE!!! LACK OF TRANSPARENCY OF THEIR RULES. IT TURNS OUT IT IS IN THE WEBSITE WAY DOWN TOWARDS THE BOTTOM INSIDE A LINK IN SMALL FONT. I TRIED TO CANCEL AND THE REQUIREMENTS TO CANCEL ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO DO UNLESS YOU HAVE NO JOB AND ALL OF THE TIME IN THE WORLD. IT WAS SO HARD TO FIND A CUSTOMER SERVICE CONTACT INFORMATION AND MY PORTAL DOES NOT HAVE ANY PAYMENT HISTORY INFORMATION ANYWHERE!! THE WEBSITE STATES, "CALL US TO ADDRESS YOUR CONCERNS IMMEDIATELY" AND INSTEAD, STACY #3602 WAS UNHELPFUL AND VERY RUDE. SHE DID NOT ADDRESS OUR CONCERNS AT ALL AND HAD NO COMPASSION. THIS IS NOT THE KIND OF MENTORSHIP WE SIGNED UP AND PAID FOR. SAVE YOUR $500 DOLLARS WITH SOMEONE ELSE WHO WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU, NOT SET YOU UP FOR FAILURE!
Website doesn’t work properly
Missleading pricing & spam! Charges 5 x $99 instead of 1 x $99. After contacting support, they refused to pay back/cancel due to some small notes in the contract
Absolite scam, you think you're signing up to a once off payment Nd they lock you into 5, refusing to cancel and refusing to refund, hundreds of dollars down the drain for a useless course built on a terrible outdated platform.

I purchased a program in the knowledge that it was a 1-time payment, but with the tiniest letters hidden behind all the other information, it said it was a five-time payment. The order confirmation said total of $99, and then it said five payments. What I understood as the $99 being split into 5 payments. The order was dated 01/31/23 charged $99 then I found out later they charged me for $99 every month. I've called and emailed to their customer support team as I used it only 1 time and cancelled it. I asked to be refunded but customer service said they cannot refund and blocked me so I cannot access it. So basically Rich Dad World wants to get paid $99 per 5 months and NO Services for customers . This is the Worst company and customer service I've ever experience. BEWARE customers Do not sign up on Rich Dad World . A Scam.
Reading is what opens your mind to new ideas, helpful ways to grow or to make money. I find this book to be awesome in my journey to financial freedom.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I purchased a program in the knowledge that it was a 1-time payment, but with the tiniest letters hidden behind all the other information, it said it was a five-time payment. However, the order confirmation said a total of $99, and then it said five payments. Which I understand as the $99 being split into 5 payments. However, it was five payments of $99. I've written to their customer support team as I've not used their service and asked if they simply could cancel everything from now on, and they said no. Worst customer experience ever.
I do back off Robert Kiyosaki's courses. I attempted a free video "course". Robert and his guest spent so much time talking about how fantastic they think the USA is. The best country in the world, they said. The video should be about crypto currency. But this long endorsement of the American society had me stop watching the video. Why did´t they stick to the topic crypto currency. I could not disagree more that USA is the most fantastic country in the world. US fail in so many areas: Health care, criminality, working poor people, very low minimum wage, many have an African standard of living, mass shootings, the judicial system and I could go on. Maybe the two rich people endorsed the USA so sky-high because they are rich and the USA are mostly for the rich. I live in Denmark and I felt they were stepping upon my country. Had to stop. I turn off for this US endorsement export.
This guy is really dangerous.
His teaching may appear well meaning and "empowering", but it's full with poisonous negative attitude.
Spitting on workers verbally during his so called "seminars" and programms, dividing and spreading arrogance, pushing people into insane paths and practising insane prices for repetitive and empty promises.
Whilst being a worker is not the best option if you want to be rich, spitting on the majority of the population repeatedly does not compensate the lack of substance of his teachings.
A "guru" should start with positive attitude and advise the so many young people who fall into his traps to start by chosing what they really love to do and make wise choices. Insulting workers is part of an old marketing technique : divide them and keep them under your thumb..
Disappointing and disgusting persona.
Kiyosaki
For those who wish to enroll in the courses taught under the tutelage of Mr. Kiyosaki, I share my review.
The courses will not teach you anything new or what you could not learn from YouTube for free. The courses are made to tell you all kinds of stories, with some people who are very good storytellers .... but in the end you are not left with anything useful to help you prosper.
It is a scam meant to attract all the resources from the poor and naive people, who with all their hardship would want to get out of the so-called "rat race".
Be careful, if you enroll in these courses, after you have paid the first month, your money will be taken monthly from your card automatic, and if you want to give up (the so-called course 100% money back guaranteed) and get your money back, they find all kinds of excuses. They charged me for a month, even though I told them I didn't want their services anymore. I had to lock my card so they wouldn't withdraw money from it anymore.
What can I say that, in a month there were 2 tutorials, of one hour, of which at least half were with stories or events of other people. You actually pay to hear examples of characters who have managed to be financially independent.
I like reading and listening to Robert's advices from emails they're sending. The last one I read was about how to create money without money then offered a course. The bad side is it's paid, irony, but the good news is it has a 30-Day Risk-Free Money Back Guarantee, which I hope is true.
They will keep spamming you forever no matter how often you try to unsubscribe.
At the same time my impression is that they sell your e-mail. The number of spam mails exploded after enrolling to a free seminar.
Moreover, they seem to sell nothing but hot air.
