My patient experienced today was very rewarding from the beginning to the end. My day began with bone marrow aspiration, and I was coached through it very well by Dr. Lewis, as well as his staff. Any concerns or apprehension about the procedure was alleviated with thorough information. The bone marrow aspiration was followed by a blood draw, which was performed quickly incompetently by the nurse. Later in the afternoon after the stem cells and platelets were processed, I had the third part of my day, which was the stem cell implantation into my right shoulder. Their suggestion I used some local sedation and found the procedure to be easy to tolerate and pleasant. The staff and Dr. are very professional. I felt like I was incompetent hands. I would highly recommend it to anybody who has a strong desire to avoid surgery and to use the natural healing factors that our body produces.

Dr Markle did an excellent job of taking my stem cells and platelets and re-inserting them around my L4-L5 region where I had significant stenosis and a grade 2 spondylolisthesis. The procedure greatly reduced my bilateral, radiating nerve pain for over 6 months. During that time I was able to do PT and get very strong again. I was unable to do so prior to the Regenexx procedure bc of too much pain. The pain returned more and more from 6 months on and at a year post, I was ready (& had) a spinal fusion that was super successful. I am grateful to have been able to go into surgery in the best health possible due to my Regenexx procedure.

The Regenexx physician and the front office staff provided excellent care, and I would rate them five stars. Unfortunately, my experience with the nursing care was concerning. During IV placement, I informed the nurse that I was experiencing significant pain. I was told this was "normal," despite having undergone numerous IV placements in the past and recognizing that this experience was different.
Additionally, when I was waking from anesthesia, I overheard the anesthesiologist addressing the nurse regarding the anesthesia risk level that had been documented. Witnessing this disagreement immediately following my procedure further diminished my confidence in the nursing care I received. While I appreciated the physician and office staff, these issues made what should have been a positive experience feel unsettling.

All of the staff are very informative, professional and kind. After trying everything else, PRP procedures finally delivered some much needed pain relief. Very pleased with Dr. Kelsey.

This treatment was a follow up of work I had done previously. I was told that I should continue getting PRP treatments in my knees after I had repair work done using my stem cells. So I regularly return for treatments. Like about 3 years apart. Life is good! I ski hard each winter. 60 plus days this year and right now I’m ready to head out cycling. 25 miles of gravel riding tonight.
