Helpful and friendly customer service
Red Stag were very helpful and friendly on the phone, and accommodated delivery of a bulk bag to a location with difficult access. The product itself (EZ Street asphalt) was easily workable and seems to have produced solid pothole repairs after using a wacker plate for compaction. Excellent service overall.

The packaging says asphalt, which is what I needed, and ordered. The contents are tarmac, which I could have bought locally, at a fraction of the price.

"Tarmac" is actually a brand name that has become widely used to refer to a surface material. The correct term for the product is asphalt, which is a mixture of aggregates combined with bitumen. The product you received is indeed asphalt, as stated on the packaging, and is suitable for the purpose you intended.
