Redkite Solicitors Anmeldelser

I had a poor experience with the Brecon office. My sister for whom I was acting as attorney received a £400 invoice for work done in connection with an aborted sale. My oral enquiries to the Brecon office produced no description of what work had actually been done but just the response that the lawyer who had been working on the matter had left their employment. A written enquiry to a partner in Carmarthen went unanswered. My sister asked me to remove her will and bundle of deeds from Red Kite and find a new solicitor.

Where do you start. Original solicitor left. New solicitor is very young and inexperienced and frankly rude. No clue how to talk to clients or what he is doing.

Very unimpressed , I sold my property , for renovation so no chain involved , straightforward transaction as far as I was aware , in mid May . It’s now mid September and as far as I’m aware it could be now exchanged and completed , it’s mid September! They say the Solicitor who was dealing with the case has left and my buyers , their clients have said they can’t get even get through to them . My Solicitor has answered all their enquires and is now waiting for my buyers Solicitor to get back to them , my buyers are frustrated as they want to get in with their project and they’ve lost two summer months due to the lack of action by their chosen Solicitor!!
This is now causing me financial problems as I paying bills on a house I don’t even live in ! It’s empty !
My advise is don’t use this Company as this should have taken a maximum of 10 weeks ! We are now in week 17 !!!!!

Truly appalling. I've been trying to complete on a house since mid February. This company have failed to answer countless emails from my solicitors. It's a straightforward, no mortgage, no chain transaction. Both the seller and myself have constantly been fobbed off with excuse after excuse, causing undue stress in an already stressful situation. Locums brought in, only to disappear, empty promises of work done but not followed through, papers lost. Incompetent to say the least. No doubt the usual "covid" excuse will appear, It's just not good enough, if you can't do a job you shouldn't have taken it on.

Edit: In response to your comments below. Your service (or rather lack of) towards your client is absolutely impacting me, both financially and emotionally

We chose Redkite Solicitors in Cardiff for our residential conveyancing and Emma Selfridge was the lawyer who handled it all.

We found Emma extremely helpful and professional. She is amazingly patient and has tremendous communication skills. She kept us updated at every stage of the process in selling our property. It had some difficult issues in the sale but Emma dealt with them professionally and confidently.

We would highly recommend
Emma as an excellent lawyer.
Thank you Emma for all your help.

Emma and conveyancing team saw through a sale fraught with difficulties on the other side, both buyers and sellers. All was done successfully despite the problems of the Covid pandemic. Wholeheartedly endorse them.

Currently trying to buy a property, RedKite Solicitors are the solicitors the sellers are using. We have been waiting 4 months now since the offer was accepted. It is impossible to get hold of them. They do not answer direct dials and you only get through to reception. Do not bother, use someone else.

Emma and her team were great in helping myself and my partner purchase our first home! They will work hard to ensure everything is dealt with without you needing to worry at all, I cannot thank her and the team enough

Emma Selfridge of Red Kite did an amazing job of dealing with my sale and purchase. I would not hesitate in recommending her and Red Kite for their professionalism, speed and efficiency. Competitively priced, too!

Another great job by Emma and her team. It's so reassuring to know that you can rely on Emma to act in your best interest and just get the job done with as little fuss as possible.

Great service from Emma and the team. The whole process was smooth and helped to make moving as first time buyers very easy. Very glad that we chose to use Red Kite and and couldn't of asked for a nicer team to help us in purchasing our first home. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy a property, and will definitely use Red Kite again in the future.

Brilliant service from Emma and the conveyancing team. We endured a lot of delays before the delays from the current pandemic, and Emma made sure everything was done as smooth as possible at a very stressful time. Myself and my partner were really pleased that we chose Red Kite to help with our first home purchase. Would definitely use again.

Redkite Cardiff have been extremely helpful throughout, whether it was our Solicitor, Emma Selfridge, or members of her team such as Elise.
Every time we needed to attend the office, the staff was always extremely friendly, and nothing was too much of a pain.

Would highly recommend Redkite to anyone looking to instruct a solicitor for whatever reason.

Thanks again for all the help!

I used them for my house purchase In Cardiff. Very good. Good contact. Got the purchase done very quickly. Very happy with the service. Can recommend.

first time i have used red kite.always used the firm that they took over .

Redkite Solicitors now incorporating Harris Arnold.
I have Harris Arnold solicitors for years, as have my family. I have always had a positive experience with them and have always dealt with Ian Jones.
The reception staff, finance team and Ian have always been a pleasure to deal with and nothing has been too much trouble for them.
I have also found their prices to be very competitive when it comes to property sales and purchases, will writing and any other legal matters.
I will always use this company for property purchases and sales and any other legal matters should any arise in the future, as even thought they have now merged with Red Kite, I know I will receive the same great service.

I have to say the experience was overall good: efficient, but, importantly for people who are going to be spending a lot of money on conveyancing, also very friendly. Melanie was personable and helpful and dealt with the church (which is not easy) very well - we would use Red Kite again because they are the best value for money/ expertise/ professionalism in the Carmarthenshire area
