I actually had our salesman John McNaught's name in my phone from years ago because he was SO GOOD. It's been awhile so I had forgotten and as luck would have it he was standing there when we walked in. He was INCREDIBLY helpful and patient and kind.

I worked with Josephine Tarabocchia at the Paramus, NJ location on Rte. 17. I was looking for a very specific piece of furniture. She spent a lot of time asking me the right questions and walking around the store showing me different options. Josephine was very patient and knowledgeable. I was sold on a piece, but unfortunately our circumstances changed and we didn't purchase that piece. But, even though we didn't complete a sale, I will go back when I am in need of furniture in the future.

Garbage Sectional - STAY AWAY
I bought a sectional at the Paramus, NJ location. It looked very nice in the showroom and also in my living room when it was delivered. But that was SHORT LIVED. After only 2 weeks, the cheap filling or padding inside each seat was extremely lumpy. The 2 week old sectional looked to be a minimum of 5 years old. I called and complained, they sent someone to look at it. As soon as that gentleman looked at the sectional, his mouth fell to the FLOOR. He said "oh, no - I would not want this in my home either". He took the pictures for reference and told me that I need to keep on reaching out and demanding a new sectional, and not to give up as they make it hard to credit you, etc. A new piece of the sectional was delivered. Within TWO DAYS of that piece being delivered, once again the cheap filling/padding was lumpy/bumpy, etc. You can literally see the lumps/bumps with the naked eye. And on the side of the sectional that is not used often, if you run you hands over the seat, you can FEEL the lumps which will form if and when those seats are utilized often. I complained a 2nd time. They sent someone to look at it, he spend max 5 minutes in my home, took pics and went on his merry way. A couple of hours later I got a call from R&F saying they will credit me. Get this - there is NOTHING in any R&F store that I will purchase when it comes to sofa/sectional. I shopped around at multiple locations to see if there is anything of better quality and there IS NOT. I called and asked if I can receive a partial credit to by a different piece of furniture since I refuse to buy a sectional from them again, and the answer was no. So I am being FORCED to buy something from them and I have to return this piece of junk in the process. That is the only way I will get a credit. So I will be forced to buy something I do not need nor want from R&F for a credit and have no sofa until I find one that meets my needs. And kicker is It needs to be done by March 1 (2/7 is when I was informed I would be credited and told to pick another item). There are no new items in the store since I purchased this piece of garbage in November (week of Thanksgiving). NEVER will I step foot in that store. EVER. Everyone stay away! Only plus that came out of it was the sales guy was awesome. Very sweet young man! Everything else was a disaster. If I could give NO stars, I most certainly would have done so. If I could share a photo of the sofa, you would all be SHOCKED. GARBAGE thru and thru.

I received my recliner today(despite the icy snowy weather!) And I want to thank Bertoldo and his partner for coming on time..and unwrapping and setting it up with no fuss,no muss. Salesman extraordinaire
The salesman, Michael Cohen, was attentive without being overbearing, the importance of which cannot be minimized. Being accosted the split second you walk in the door is such a negative, I can’t stress that enough. He was available instantly (was he hiding out of sight? Okay, that’s fine!). My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with his “approach “. Can’t wait to get out chairs in a few days.

Good selection, not a great sales agent
The salesperson who met us at the door was dismissive, not terribly friendly, and not terribly helpful. As soon as the person learned that we were at the early stages of our furniture search, the attitude changed. We were shown one or two items and that was it.
In the end, we found something that fit our needs, thought anbout it first a few days, ordered it online.

Excellent customer service and…
Excellent customer service and knowledge of their products. Long story short, I was dealing with another furniture company and it was a total nightmare. I needed one piece of a sectional from an incorrect order from Ashley Furniture. Had several calls and 5 in store visits to get it right after a month of wrong furniture deliveries and pick ups and an incomplete set of furniture. One visit to Raymour & Flanigan’s website and a chat with an amazing customer service representative, my problem was solved. I regret not going to Raymour from the beginning, but will be sure to start there, going forward. Absolutely the best experience I could’ve had!
