Long wait
When I initially rang up the lady I spoke to was lovely & helpful, found the paint I needed, I sent order in & received Proforma Invoice which we paid immediately, 4 weeks later we had not received our paint & had to chase them up, even though I did get an apology there system had not worked hence the average rating. Cannot comment on paint or delivery yet as it is supposed to arrive sometime today

Paint is absolutely fine but not the colour matching.
Paint is absolutely fine but not impressed with colour matching service. I supplied painted sample of paint supplied 3 years ago but colour match was way off. Fortunately I found delivery note from 3 years ago so could order the correct colour.

I decided to change the colour of my…
I decided to change the colour of my upvc front door to Ultramarine blue and after researching I found Rawlins Paint company who were able to tint the paint to the colour I wanted.
My door looks fabulous, even if I say so myself! I'm really happy with the quick delivery, the paint colour and the hardiness of the paint itself. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

As a mural artist I frequently need large quantities of specialised primer and varnish on a tight deadline and in varied colours
Rawlins is my go to supplier, I have consistently shopped there for nearly ten years.
Prompt delivery, a sharp price and amazing costumer service that is extremely unusual in this day and age.

Number one choice for Paint and Varnish
I have ordered a range of paint and varnish from Rawlins for close to ten years now and they are consistently good value with prompt delivery and have excellent sales and technical team on hand.
I wouldn't go anywhere else

Nick at Rawlins has been in touch to see if the Company can help Islanders buy their product. The islands are lovely places to live, but the tranport costs and problems of buying things cause issues
It would be nice if this company,like amazon, could use Royal Mail to deliver to the islands. I believe I have got the paint, it is at my sons 30 miles away on the mainland . So, it arrived thanks, but I can not get it or use it. Perhaps the bosses at Rawlins could be abit more customer focused and help us out on the islands

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, Stuart. We understand how frustrating it must be to know your paint has arrived on the mainland but still be unable to get hold of it. We’ve tried contacting you several times to discuss this, but unfortunately haven’t been able to speak with you directly.
We use dedicated paint couriers for deliveries across mainland England, Scotland and Wales. Royal Mail limits water-based products, including Murfill Waterproofing Coating, to 150ml per parcel, so it isn't a viable option for full-size tins. The only water-based products we send with Royal Mail are colour sample sachets.
The delivery area is shown on every product page, and if you're on one of the islands we're always happy to look at alternative courier options before an order is placed, where these are available. If you can give me (Nick) a call back on 0113 2455450 (option 2) or email nick@rawlinspaints.com, I will be more than happy to help.
Completely wrong colour advertisement.
Completely wrong colour to that advertised online. Although I appreciate that online/digital examples cannot be completely relied upon, they should advertise something at the very least, similar to the product being sold. In this case it didn’t. I was sold 2 tins of paint costing £70, which was absolutely nothing like the colours and examples shown on the website. There was little interesting in compensating the false colour, other than sending 2 more tins of completely useless paint.
Would 100% recommend shopping elsewhere.

We’re sorry to read that you remain unhappy with the colour received. We recognise how frustrating it can be when a colour viewed online does not appear as expected in person.
After you contacted us, the team investigated the concern and arranged free-of-charge replacement tins from a different batch, with checks made before despatch to you. When you raised the same concern again, the matter was reviewed further. A brush-out sample of BS 20 D 45 was checked against a BS colour chart and found to match the specified colour. A free colour sample was also sent to you so that this could be compared against the tins supplied.
As explained during our correspondence, online colour examples are only a guide. Screen settings, device type, brightness, lighting conditions and display calibration can all affect how a colour appears digitally. For this reason, physical colour samples are recommended before ordering where an exact shade is important.
The issue was not found to be a manufacturing or colour-matching fault. On that basis, and because the supplied paint has been confirmed against the relevant BS colour reference, we’re unable to offer further compensation.
