My brother did not get Rakhi at all and when I contacted they they send me a picture but that’s not my brother’s porch so I contact them but no response.there customer service is worst. There is no contact except what’s up.

I ordered a Raksha Bandhan gift from Rakhi.ca for a recipient in Canada. While the delivery was prompt, I was very disappointed with the packaging of the Kaju Katli.

The container arrived with a lid but no seal whatsoever, it could simply be opened by lifting the lid. This was particularly concerning because Rakhi.ca's own website states that Rakhi sweets, including Kaju Katli, are provided in “factory-sealed packaging.” What was delivered therefore did not appear to match the packaging standard described on their website.

I contacted customer service and supplied a clear photograph showing the unsealed container. I was then asked to get the recipient of my gift to gather all the products and outer packaging together and make a video. I am based in the UK and specifically paid to have this sent as a gift to someone in Canada. I found it disappointing and embarrassing that the person receiving my gift was being inconvenienced to provide further evidence when I had already supplied a photograph of the issue.

I also specifically asked for the complaint to be dealt with directly with me as the paying customer rather than inconveniencing the recipient further.

The gift itself was a lovely idea and delivery was prompt, but unfortunately the unsealed food item and the way my complaint has been handled have really let the experience down.

UPDATE: Following my complaint, Rakhi.ca investigated the matter and has now confirmed that they will refund the cost of the Kaju Katli. I appreciate that they have acknowledged the issue and arranged the refund.

However, I have subsequently been asked to delete this review because a refund has been issued. I don't feel that is reasonable. My review is an honest account of my experience, and I am happy to update it to acknowledge the resolution, but I don't believe a refund means the original experience should no longer be shared.
This was not simply a purchase of a box of sweets. It was intended to be a special Raksha Bandhan gift for someone in Canada. I normally send my gifts myself from the UK, but specifically chose a Canadian gift delivery service to avoid the delays and complications of sending a parcel internationally.

Unfortunately, the gift arrived with an unsealed food item, which took away from the whole experience and left the recipient understandably uncomfortable consuming it. I am now having to arrange another gift. Refunding the cost of the Kaju Katli is appreciated, but it cannot recreate the occasion or undo the disappointment.

I think prospective customers should be able to read what happened and see that the company subsequently acknowledged the issue and provided a refund. That is a fair and accurate reflection of my experience.

My wife ordered Rakhi to USA and i'm surprised with the fast delivery. Same has happened with my Canada order. The delivered exactly same rakhi and product which Ive choosen. I find this website recommendable.

Extremely disappointed with @rakhi.com this Raksha Bandhan. Sent a Rakhi from the UK to India — it was never delivered and I received zero communication or updates. For such an important occasion, this level of service is unacceptable. #CustomerServiceFail #Rakhi #Disappointed. Try to communicate through different platforms but no communication from them. I'm totally disappointed with this what they have showed in pictures what you have sended the product is totally different and after I told them they are saying it's our policy that if your order product is not available then they can send another product from any confirmation from the customer.

i ordered rakhi for my brother in USA with proper address and phone number ,yet my brother hasn’t received any parcel cause of insufficient address. They really have bad customer service, before ordering they reply in seconds once you place order they take days to reply . i want refund . please since no parcel has been delivered.

This is my first time ordering Rakhi from your site. I had specifically ordered a Rakhi along with Kaju Katli, but I received Ladoo instead.

I had ordered Rakhi and chocolates for my brother living in Australia 11 days in advance. Later I got to know that my brother had not given the complete details as he has recently moved there (but which was important for the delivery). The team promptly connected with me and made sure that the delivery is done 3 days prior to Rakshabandhan!
Appreciate the effort and customer service

I ordered a Rakhi gift for my brother from Sydney to India, hoping to make the occasion special. But the whole experience was really disappointing.
My family received the Rakhi, but the sweets—which were shipped earlier—still haven’t been delivered. What’s confusing is that the website kept showing the order as “shipped,” even after the Rakhi was delivered. Then I got an email saying the order was “completed,” which made no sense.
There was no proper communication from the company. I only found out about the partial delivery when my family told me. I reached out to customer service, and they said they’d look into it—but after that, no one responded. There’s no proper contact number either. When you call, it just tells you to use their WhatsApp button, which doesn’t help at all.
The packaging was also really disappointing. I expected a nice hamper or festive presentation, but everything was dumped in a plain cardboard box with local packaging. The Rakhi message was printed on regular paper—not even a proper card. It felt careless and impersonal.
With Rakhi tomorrow and no update on the missing sweets, I feel really let down. This wasn’t just about a gift—it was about sending love and emotions across borders. Sadly, this website ruined that. I won’t be ordering from them again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Great experience

Very bad customer service. Immediately after placing order I realized that I made a mistake and I asked to cancel it because the website provides no such capability, but they said it is already processed. They just choose to ignore and not respect the customer experience. Most of the websites all around the world give the option to cancel and edit orders at customer will but only they do not. I will not be using this in future.

I had ordered Rakhis for Australia and they got delivered on time. This gave me confidence to order a small rakhi order for NJ USA which also got delivered. My larger order to Doral, Florida had a problem in delivery and Rakhi.com have kindly offered to refund the money back. They are a good option to order, well in time, Rakhis for overseas delivery.

My order was supposed to deliver days before rakhi but its been delivered today 5 days after rakhi. Won't use their service again.
