We went to buy a kitchen mixer
We went to buy a kitchen mixer that was on display. They told us it was the last one and couldn’t be transferred from other stores, so we agreed to buy the display model. The staff wasn’t even sure if all the accessories were included, and when I asked if it could be cleaned and boxed (during Christmas time!), the answer was basically “we’ll see”.
No gift return was allowed because it was a display item, only the warranty. We paid €150 with a 10% discount (which seemed standard anyway). Checkout took forever, no one knew about the home delivery we requested, total confusion.
After we got home, they called saying they couldn’t find the box and offered a blue version instead. Then they called again saying the blue one costs more — same product, just a different color. On top of that, they removed the delivery option, meaning we’d have to go back ourselves.
Extremely disorganized service, poor communication, and a very frustrating experience overall.

Terrible customer service & fake availability
Terrible customer service. They make us pay for products they dont have, they reserve the money and never get back with actual availability. They only send useless messages that the item is reserved (THANK YOU!!). Avoid them at all costs!!

I made RTI to CM regarding non commitment of giving resolution within twenty one days
RTI was directed to general department two
Reply given is that there are complaints given to various departments you are advised to write head of those departments for disciplinary action for delays
AS per service rules CM can intiate enquiry under Secretary but they refuse
Our complaints given are sent to those we make complaints to give compliance and copy to the officer
Neither those officer give compliance or The officer takes action for non compliance
IN housing society the bylaws says documents should be given at members cost .When housing Secretary refuses to give documents we complain to Dy reg co-op hsg soc through aaple sarkar
Dy reg instead of taking punitive action diverts complain again to Secretary
IF complained to DDR/Principle secretary no reply or action

Το μηχάνημα εξακολουθεί να έχει ανεπαρκή απόδοση.Πολυ κακή after sale εξυπηρέτηση.
Μετά από πολλαπλές επικοινωνίες με το τηλεφωνικό κέντρο συνεχίζουν να αγνοούν και να κοροϊδεύουν μετα από ένα μήνα δεν έχουν μπει καν στον κόπο να πάρουν ένα τηλέφωνο.Μην αγοράζετε από αυτό το κατάστημα δεν δείχνουν κανένα σεβασμό στον καταναλωτή παρά μόνο κοροϊδία και αδιαφορία.
Έχει γιατί ήδη καταγγελία στον Συνήγορο του καταναλωτή.

I purchased a laundry machine 1 month ago that now broke down, a technician came (1 week later after reporting the issue), left my house flooded with water and used my personal belongings to put on the dirty balcony floor. After all of this, I got informed the laundry machine is broken and they need to replace a part, which will take about 20-30 business days! I'm in my first trimester of pregnancy and have some complications leading to me not being able to lift things, my partner is away for work, how do they expect me to do my laundry? I am a foreigner here, I don't have family I can ask to do my laundry ,we are now 2 weeks already without machine with a huge pile of clothes to be washed, this is unacceptable!
Failed service support
I have paid for a guarantee extension for my home appliances, one of which broke down and as per the terms, the technical team should have arranged an appointment to fix it within 48 hours. It has been now almost 10 days and noone has contacted me despite repeated calls. I have sent an official complaint.
First and last bad experience with public
I ordered online a fridge freezer over a month ago with a delivery date of 27/8/2025.
They later advised the delivery would be the 4/9/2025. Two days passed and then they advised it would be delivered 9 or 10th September . They advised the delivery courier would be in touch to advise a day and time . We reached 9/9 and no contact from the delivery courier . I made numerous phone calls and on line messages to Public but all the responses I got were we will have to check with the courier and get back to you ,but they never do . I researched and found out the name of the courier in Corfu kerkyra express .
I called direct to them as I was getting no answers from public . I spoke to the "CEO" lol.
They said they couldn't confirm delivery .
I went back to public and advised them they either deliver the fridge freezer 10/9 or i cancel the order .
The courier rang me on the morning of the 10/9 advising he was on his way with the product . Kerkyra express was two bad tempered guys in a van with the door dropping off who obviously didn't want to be doing the drop off . Very rude .
Public you need to get your act together it's ok using subcontractors but come on they are not giving a good impression for national company like public .
This was my first experience of ordering from public and it will be my last

Very nice store with a wide range of products and you can find whatever you want at a good price and they arrive quickly.
I expected better from such a big…
I expected better from such a big retailer. The website is slow and not very user-friendly, and the checkout process feels confusing. Delivery times are often delayed, and customer service is not as helpful as it should be — it takes a long time to get a proper response.
The products themselves are fine once they arrive, but the overall shopping experience is frustrating. For a company of this size, I think customers deserve much smoother service.

Public outsources all services…
Public has outsourced all services apart from actually selling items. Delivery, installation etc. is done by subcontractors. Should a problem arise (and it always does), nobody is willing to take responsibility or help the customer (especially once everything is already paid). I can only warn not to buy anything at Public, but to go to individual, specialised stores. I will never buy from Public again

Straight up lied to me in a phone call regarding invoice payment. I was told that I would be able to get an invoice on my order no problem, only for the store to tell my it's impossible when I went to pick up the product. Never using them again.

Μιλάω με τα κεντρικά για να πάρω ένα πλυντήριο πιάτων, το οποίο συνοδεύεται από μια δωροεπιταγη 15ε και μου λένε να παω στο Περιστέρι να παραλάβω το πλυντήριο μου και ότι αν δώσω το παλιό δικό μου θα έρθουν να το παραλάβουν από το σπίτι μου και θα μου δώσουν μια επιπλέον δωροεπιταγή των 30ε. Πάω στο Περιστέρι και μου λένε να πάω στο άλλο μαγαζί που είναι Home-public. Γιατί δεν μου το διευκρίνισε ο τηλεφωνητής με ξεπερνάει. Πάω τελικά στο άλλο μαγαζί παίρνω το πλυντήριο μου δίνουν την δωροεπιταγη των 15ε αλλά μου λένε ότι ο τηλεφωνητής έκανε λάθος και πρέπει το παλιό μου να τους το πάω εγώ ό ίδιος. 3 μέρες μετά τους πάω το παλιό και μου λένε ότι την επιταγή θα μου τη στείλουν από τα κεντρικά. 3 εβδομάδες μετά δεν είχα παραλάβει τίποτα, τους παίρνω τηλέφωνο βλέπουν ότι όντως το παρέδωσα και μου λένε ότι θα το τακτοποιήσουν. 1,5 μήνα μετά τίποτα, τους καλώ και μου λένε τα ίδια και ότι θα μου τη στείλουν την επομένη. 2 μήνες μετά μου στέλνουν ότι λήγει η 1η επιταγή των 15ε. Τους καλώ τους λέω τι έχει συμβεί και ότι περιμένω τη 2η επιταγή για να τις εξαργυρώσω μαζί. για άλλη μια φορά μου λένε ότι θα το τακτοποιήσουν άμεσα . Μία βδομάδα μετα μου στέλνουν μειλ ότι η 1η μου επιταγή έληξε. Για να μην πολυλογώ. Είμαστε 6 μήνες μετά και ακόμα περιμένω... Απαράδεκτοι
Delivered a damaged A/C unit, no solution, no responsibility – shocking service!
I purchased a TESLA air conditioner from Public.gr and had it delivered to my home. When the technician sent by Public arrived to install it, we discovered that the outdoor unit was visibly damaged inside the box, despite the external packaging being intact.
I immediately contacted Public’s customer support. They took my details and promised to handle it. Weeks later, absolutely nothing has been done. Their only excuse is that they "sent an email to TESLA and are still waiting for a reply." Meanwhile, I’m left with a broken unit and no cooling during a heatwave.
Public refuses to take any responsibility, claiming it’s solely the manufacturer’s fault, even though they sold and delivered the product. This is unacceptable behavior from a major retailer. I didn’t order directly from TESLA – I ordered from Public, and it is their duty to handle defective or damaged products. Period.
The fact that their support is unresponsive and unwilling to act shows a complete lack of customer care and accountability. I am now seriously considering taking legal action.
I strongly advise against purchasing anything expensive from Public. If something goes wrong, you’ll be on your own.

Απαράδεκτοι, μου έστειλαν ένα μαϊμού εγκαταστατη που έκανε 330 ώρες για να μην καταφέρει να εγκαταστήσει το κλιματιστικό το οποίο και χάλασε (έχει τσακίσει τις εσωτερικές σωλήνες). Μετά από άπειρα email και τηλέφωνα δεν έχουν κάνει τίποτα ώστε να λύσουν το πρόβλημα. Μου λένε συνέχεια ότι το αίτημα μας είναι σε επεξεργασία. Μακριά θα χάσετε τα λεφτά σας.

Μου πούλησαν ελαττωματικό κλιματιστικό. Ήδη έχει περάσει ένας μήνας από την ημέρα που το ανέφερα. Κάθε μέρα μου λένε ότι το αναφέρουν και ότι θα με καλέσει τεχνικός εντός της ημέρας ή την επόμενη. Προφανώς και δεν με καλεί κανένας. 2 φορές με κάλεσε ένας άξεστος, ο οποίος μου είπε ότι με κάλεσε για να μου πει ότι θα με καλέσει από Δευτέρα, και το έκλεισε... Ο εμπαιγμός σε όλο του το μεγαλείο. Τους έχω προτείνει να φέρω εγώ τεχνικό από την στιγμή που είναι ανίκανοι να βρουν, και να αναλάβουν το κόστος. Αρνήθηκαν, επιμένοντας ότι αυτός ο άξεστος θα με καλέσει... Εφιάλτης να πρέπει να λύσεις ένα απλό πρόβλημα σε συνεργασία με τα public, με δική τους υπαιτιότητα.
