Prompt efficient service and they seem to care about customer needs.

I would like to make you aware that when you place an order with Proviation is it highly likely that the delivery delay is very extensive. So far I've been waiting for more than 8 months. Specific reasons are not given by 'customer service' but the reason for that is that they don't respond very often to any questions. When they do respond they still don't answer your question.

At the moment I doubt whether I will ever receive my headset. I have a feeling £ 670,- just vapourised.

I understand that running a fairly young company could result in some hick ups but when you run a webshop in such a specific market you have to get your act together because the word spreads quickly in a relatively small community.

My patience has been challenged long enough now and I just wanted to give all future customers a heads up.

Ordered a GoProHero3 Black Camera unfortunately was not in stock. Was told there was an updated camera about to be released would I like to wait for that one at the same price. Accepted the offer. The original camera did come into stock and I was offered it but having found that there was a new edition about to be released I declined the origional camera order. Unfortunately the suppliers let this company down with the delivery of the Hero3+ as I think they were concentrating on the larger companies. [Name] had been trying to solve the problem. I was unable to wait any longer and requested a refund which I recieved within the 7 days, certainly no problem there. To compensate me [Name] has sent out a memory card for the camera which I had to get somewhere else. No problem with this company, feel they could have someone manning the phones a little more as had to leave messages which were responded to via email. Many thanks for all your help [Name].

Parcel arrived very quickly. Is a present so not opened yet but packaged very well and really pleased with purchase and experience with good price and quick free shipping into the bargain so thanks!

Nick Was Very Helpful Sorting out my Order so as other staff and very reasonable prices for the books specially with the packages they have was easy to communicate with them.

I will always be buying my books and stuff for my Flying.

I'm still waiting for a refund of £299 for a product I ordered in September 2013.
The money was taken from my account at time of order despite the product being out of stock. I have repeatedly tried to contact them regarding a refund and the only time I got a reply was when I put a negative review on this site. They have been 'working on' my refund since 28th October 2013 but can't process it due to 'banking issues outwith their control.' If it wasn't so much money I'd actually laugh at the excuse I've been emailed.
I think the positive reviews on this company must be written by the owners!

Ordered a Leather Flying Jacket in July 2013 for xmas present for my husband at a cost pf £139. Was immediately informed that the item was out of stock and were expected in 7-10 days.
After still no jacket by November, was informed by Proviation that there was still no stock and a further delay of 1-2 weeks.
Got fed up of waiting (5 months!!!) so asked for a full refund. Was informed by e-mail (Name) on 2 Dec that the refund had been processed.
STILL NO REFUND!!!!
Have tried several times to telephone with no response and have tried live-chat many times - whoever is on the end usually goes off-line when you start to ask questions???!!!!

All-in-all a nightmare experience using this company who spout all the right 'corporate' customer service promises on their website, but actually do not provide ANY customer service.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS unless you want a stressful shopping experience.
Unfortunately my next course of action will have to be Trading Standards.

I ordered a weather station which appeared to be in stock but wasn't, with no clear indication of when it might arrive - but probably too late for a Christmas present. I phoned Proviation who told me the item I had ordered was unreliable and being swapped for a different manufacturer. Not a good start. However, they changed my order for a completely different model. Although this model was 50% more expensive they did not charge more. Item delivered two days later, well packaged.

Proviation is a great place to find everything you need before, during and after a project I chased very specific parts for days and once I found Proviation, my life became much easier! There is very little they won't do and in terms of outreach to customers second to none. The owner drove a spare to me directly recently.

I ordered a bag mid October for a present. Several e mails saying the order had been delayed still no bag by November. So I asked for a refund, 6 e mails later still no refund and they had stopped replying to my e mails. Even after a phone call they were unable to e mail me back to explain why the money had not been refunded.
After 2 months I have not received my money back!
Would not use this this firm as they are incapable of doing what they say.

I was looking for an Alpha N3-B parka and browsing the net Proviation seemed to offer a competitive price. There was an initial delay due to some hold-up in the supply chain and looking at some of the negative reviews here made me fear the worst so I fired off some nagging e-mails. But Alex and later Nick re-assured me that it was all in the pipeline. The coat was delivered today as promised. Brand new with tags, it was exactly as advertised and very warm.

I gather Proviation is a small family-run business and have suffered their share of teething problems, particularly with regard to logistics. Hopefully experience is helping them improve this side of things and to realise that it pays to be straight with their customers. My experience was after all a positive one. They replied promptly to all my emails and although delivery was a a week or so later than I had first envisaged, I was very happy with the final outcome.

I brought a Christmas gift for my Son, Very competitively priced, great service and very speedy delivery.
This was the second time I have used them, I will be back another day, possibly my Sons' Birthday.

I have placed several orders with you and have always received excellent and timely service from you. When the wrong item was sent it was promptly exchanged at no cost to me. This is what makes the difference.

I ordered a Trackclip Pro on the 9th September for £34.00 and payment was taken from my card on the following day. The website stated 5-7 days for delivery yet I'd received nothing by the 17th so I chased via the online chat and got no answer although I did receive an email later advising they were waiting from the distributor to re-stock so fair enough I waited.
On the 4th November I tried the online chat to check the whereabouts of my order, having got no response to that request (bearing in mind the website was still saying 5-7 days for deliver) I asked if I cancel my order would I still get a refund. I was not asking to cancel the order but that is what Proviation did.
The cancellation email advised that a refund would take 7-10 working days however on the 9th working day my bank had seen no sign of the refund and stated it should only take 5-7 days in their opinion, so I emailed Proviation who asked me to leave it another 24-48 hours and they would manually escalate of not received.
I left it a further 4 days and still no refund so I asked if they intended to actually refund.
10 days after that I still had received no refund so I emailed again where I was now being told that a cheque would be sent.
That was a week ago and now my emails are not being responded too.
In the meantime I ordered a Trackclip Pro off [External Reference] and it arrived the following day, I know who I'll be shopping with in future.

***Update**** 23/12/2013
Since my original review Proviation has been in contact with me on a number of occasions and have explained that they were experiencing issues with the bank they used to process their card transactions. Proviation sent me a screenshot of the refund request they made on the 4th November when the order was cancelled. This does support their statement that the lack of refund progress was due to the Bank and not their systems which would explain why several other people were also complaining about refunds during the same time period.

During the recent email conversations Proviation re-issued the refund by cheque (my choice) which has now successfully cleared to my account.

Proviation believes that they have turned a corner now and I hope that they have and wish them all the best.

I just wish that there had been clear and more frequent communication during this issue rather than after a negative review had been posted. And the website must accurately reflect your stock situation with updates if the item is on back order with a supplier.

Last minute necessity prompts pilot case buy...

Browsed a range of pilot stores in order to replace my very expensive branded case which finally gave up the ghost on me this week. None came close with range which was not overwhelming as neatly categorized,

A click here, a click there and there's an array of wheeled cases at your disposal. I selected a far cheaper case than my own, enticed by a long warranty and 'throw away' mentality which we now have.

On receipt this morning I am wondering why I spent so much on my last case as this one looks like it will go the distance. In short I recommend the PC8- tough leather and trolley mechanism looks likely to last. At this price you can't go wrong but make sure you buy it at Proviation.

Got my goods fast and a great deal. Was wary using a smaller store but encouraged by the info online and the extra warranty
