Prompt service and good price

Booked an appointment to have my own cross climate tyres fitted. Service from booking to fitting was carried out to a high standard of customer care.

Good tyre price but I won't use their MOT service again. My car failed the MOT based on a 3mm hole in the tyre where the technician claimed to see fibres which were not visible when I asked him to show me. It felt like they wanted more tyre sales to hit the ground running with their 2026 sales targets. I don’t trust them.

On the evening of Monday 22nd December while travelling up the M5 we suffered a blow out of the rear driver’s side tyre. After nearly 4 hours a breakdown truck arrived and swap the blown tyre for the Spare, which of course is a space saver, so no good for us travels the 120 miles home.

So, on the morning of 23rd December, when I was supposed to be in work, I was driving around Cheltenham looking for someone to sort out our blown tyre.

I had tried 3 other places before I discovered Protyre's as they are not visible from the main road, none of which could help, possibly one the next day.

Despite clearly having a full days’ worth of work, and it being so close to Christmas they agreed to help.

They said leave it with us for an and half or so and we will sort it, and true to their word around 80 minutes later they called to say it was sorted.

With agreement they also changed our wiper blades which delighted my wife, who had complained about them on the journey down.

All three members of staff we interacted with extremely friendly (and not in a forced way) and helpful.

It was very stressful breaking down, spending nearly 4hrs on the side of the M5, then an unscheduled overnight stop. But Protyre a light in this Darkness.

Once again I went to ProTyre for car maintenance and once again I left very satisfied with their work. They even gave me an air conditioning cleaning as a Christmas present. Thank you again.

Mark and his team are excellent. The service is so professional, I use them for my service and mot and recently, the 6 point free winter check.

Apart from the initial confusion with a new starter on the desk (we've all been new at one time or another), another great job from Protyre. Not only for the MOT, but for what i thought was a slow puncture a few weeks earlier. The engineer pointed out the wheel was cracked and i also needed remedial work on the suspension. Really great job as usual.

They have a new location, but the team remain professional & reliable as always.
