I was a bit disappointed
I was a bit disappointed that they were unable to correct the tracking on my car, "because it has ADAS", and they were not equipped for that. They should've made that clear when I booked.

Fault Messages After Tyre Replacements
Received a good friendly quotation for x2 new front tyres, however on completion of the work and after paying and returning to my vehicle on their forecourt several steering related fault messages flashed-up on the dashboard so I returned to the office before driving away.
Protyre checked with a diagnostic tool but power steering warning messages traction control, steering, spanner light and ESC fault remained illuminated after engine restart. I was told that they could not explain why the car now displayed these messages after their work suggesting it was a coincidence and I would need to go to a dealer or a professional car electrician as they could do no more but the car was safe to drive!
I gingerly returned home feeling very disappointed with the service provided however after researching the problem I managed to reset the system myself using a simple procedure with no special tooling found on a mechanics forum as it seemed to be a known problem after working on the front axle wheels on some models. I'm so relieved that I did not require the dealer visit or electrician at great expense as suggested by the mechanics however something that was undoubtedly avoidable if given a little more thought and care by Protyres who basically washed their hands of the problem and handed back a car with faults displayed which then became the customers problem.
A simply case of poor customer service and basic troubleshooting knowledge on Protyres part especially as the car had no system faults on arrival.
No further problems since reset apart from a tyre pressure warning message that evening due to low pressure in one of the replacement tyres, reinflated to correct pressure okay since.

All's well that ends well.
Had my car booked in for a Tuesday for both a Service and MOT. However when I arrived I was told that the MOT tester was ill and I would have to re book this for the Friday. Slightly inconvenient but not the end of the world and thankfully the car was passed.
Protyre telephoned me the following week essentially to apologise which is refreshing in this day and age. Thank you.

Alls well that ends well
Booked a service and MOT on a Tuesday but found out when I arrived that the MOT tester was ill and I had to wait until the Friday to get it done. Slightliy inconvenient but not the end of the world.
What made things a lot better was the fact that I got a call later on apologising for delay.

The tyre service was prompt and good value.
I liked that the tyre service was prompt and good value. My previous "go to " place for tyres had closed in Lowestoft, so I was relieved to find a closer tyre outlet in Beccles. However, I did not really feel involved in any discussion regarding the choice of tyres available...I was basically told what tyres were to be fitted. It would have been better if I had been shown a range of tyres to understand why those fitted were the best deal for me.I am happy with the new tyres and would consider using Protyre in future.

Although I had to wait a bit longer than expected due to staff sickness.

And I didn’t have to wait for my booking. I simply phoned through and got a slot for the next day.

Shortage of staff
Booked in car for 4 brake discs and pads and MOT.
MOT not done as person off sick - understandably.
However spent 3 hrs for only 2 discs and pads change, as they ran out of time, as apparently very busy answering phone queries while doing the work. Staff shortage needs addressing.

What a professional service with a great welcoming attitude, i would fully recommend using them. My Golf had a flat tyre in which i visited the Protyre Autocentre in Beccles with no appointment made, the guys managed to accommodate me and replace the tyre at a reasonable price, but, overall the service was excellent and fast.
