I’ve had a tough few months but Adam and the team have been more than understanding of the situation. A lot of the time estate agents can see rental tenants as nothing but a number but Protheroe has shown real empathy for my situation and helped me find a solution to deal with a difficult time, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I just was on a call with a lady in rental, and she just refused service to a service dog for disability. This is ground for discrimination and is illegal. I did point this out to her but she insisted that this is legal. I tried to explain that discrimination against disability is like discrimination against race , but she shouted at me that the landlord himself is black and she disagrees with me. It seems that their staff have zero training for service animals.This is just a note that this will be reported to the police and the council and the redressing scheme. They also didn't respond to my email complaint. From the review you can see how they refuse to accept responsibility, distort the truth and deny bad behaviour or discrimination. He actually called me to ask me why I’m not on benefit, what accommodation do I currently live in and that I have the wrong type of dog! So you can see how inappropriate and unprofessional their behaviour is. Stay away these people have anger issues, discriminatory attitudes and if I had the patience to follow up with my police report would have been found guilty. But TBH the property was mediocre anyway to push for a viewing. But you can see from their responses how unprofessional they are. Yeah, I wouldn’t be seeking any viewing from this unsafe bunch of unprofessional a anyway. Please do not send women and young girls alone. This could easily escalate.

We were once again delighted with the service we received from Adam and his staff .
Even before embarking on renovation of our property , Adam assisted us . Nothing is too much trouble .
The sales process included an Open House on the day of the annual Street Fayre , Facebook video and advertising on all the usual platforms to give as much opportunity as possible for potential buyers to see the house in all its renovated glory !
We found Adam and the team very calm , helpful and positive throughout the process right up to the last visit and handing over the keys upon which I was presented with a lovely bouquet and thank you card. They really do go the extra mile !

Picked my keys up from the office today and was welcomed by Adam. Friendly staff and even got a welcome box containing the essentials for a new house- noodles and an air freshener. I could recommend a better letting agent.

The service from protheroe properties was excellent, they went above and beyond my expectations, providing a couple of small speedy repairs to my property for a fast sale. The property is 11 miles from their office but Adam the owner travelled quite a distance on several occasions and even lent me a dehumidifier for a few weeks. They were helpful with negotiation between myself and the buyers and took final meter readings because I wasn’t local. Thank you all at protheroe!
