Pong Cheese Anmeldelser 

Very disappointed. I ordered through Pong previously and had some great cheese delivered on time. This year, I ordered on the 24th November for delivery on the 22nd December. I was informed it despatched on Monday 19th December but it didn't arrive so I sent a polite request for an update. I got a message back saying that I should be patient because it's complex logistically. It's now Christmas Eve and I have no cheese. It's not the end of the world but money has been taken, a contract has been entered into by both parties. Now Pong and DX their carrier (who apparently are doing better than other couriers) are closed for Christmas and are unable to assist until Wednesday 28th, nearly a week after the cheese should have been delivered. If you are unable to fulfil your side of a contract don't accept it.

I ordered some cheeses for Christmas and they arrived on the chosen date but the package was burst open. Fortunately the cheeses somehow survived but for £50 I was a bit underwhelmed. I sent a photo of the package to Pong but they haven’t bothered to reply. Not a good advert for customer service or how they perceive their business.

Have used Pong in the past and have always had excellent service as well as excellent cheese. I was a bit worried this year that my order would not reach the person in time for Christmas due to postal strike but was assured that it would as they use other couriers. Many thanks Pong

Pong cheese is loved by my family. I send it all over. Some is really smelly, the men adore it.

I have used Pong Cheese several times and found them to be reliable and the very good quality.
This time however they have let themselves down badly.
I ordered two Christmas Cheeses for delivery on Friday.
I had guests on Friday and again on Saturday.
The courier tracking showed the cheese was being delivered on Friday until 11pm..when it changed to Saturday.
I wrote an e mail to Pong and one to the courier company. I called on Saturday and was informed someone would get back to me. I've had no response whatsoever.
The cheese didn't arrive on Saturday and courier tracking stated back to Friday? I called on Monday and was told someone would get back to me.
Not the end of the world I know, but I sense there is a bigger issue as I've had such good service before.
This is their bread and butter and at the moment they seem incapable of providing a service and worse for me not jumping on it and sorting it out. Can you get back to.doing what you do best please.

Just spoken to someone for the third time tonask about getting my money back. Unfortunately she is only allowed by her boss to take a message and can't put me through to customer services
I asked firmlytonstaybon the line until i knew what is going on..
I'm not sure if Pong understand that if you let customers down, the very least you should do is communicate the situation and put it right.
4 e mails, 3 phone calls and nothing back.
Yep, I may have been angry.
American Express have refunded me my money and I definitely won't be using Pong again.

Excellent products, delivered when expected. Customer Service beyond good. Couldn’t ask for a better company if you want cheese and good service. Highly recommend.

Great cheese. Delivered on time. Slight problem with the order quickly resolved by excellent customer services.

I needed to make a change to my order, I emailed customer service and they were so quick to respond and very helpful.

I ordered cheeses for Christmas but when they came they were only dated to 9th of December. When I complained to Pong Cheese they resolved the issue to my satisfaction and I was pleased with the level of service received.

I had to alter my delivery date i received an email very quickly and said they would be happy to change the delivery date with no extra charge. I would use Pong Cheese again. They were really helpful.

Excellent cheese, excellent customer service. Best cheese subscription service out there.

Customer service was helpful after I reached out to them prior to buying a subscription. The offer of 50% off the 1st box was appreciated. I received 5 instead of 4 because I paid extra for premium.

I have now cancelled because, to be honest, I didn't enjoy most of the cheese.

The Waterloo Brie, was unpasteurised and so moist it was almost spreadable.. I'm on the Liver Transplant list so cannot risk eating unpasteurised cheese. Plus after Googling all the bacteria it has, totally put me off anyway tbh.

The smaller brie had no flavour, but was nice on crackers. Just a very small plain brie.

The Gert Lush was completely overpowering, almost tasted like soap. Tasted actually mouldy like blue cheese. So gross. Apparently Gert Lush means, Very Lovely...not imo. Was the worst brie/camembert I've ever come across.

The blue soft cheese was just too strong for me. Absolutely full of the mould. Wish I'd chose No Blue. I like mild blues.

The Old Amsterdam mature hard cheese was actually quite remarkable, really the only I can stomach. Great melted on top of my cauliflower cheese. Plus nice with chutney and crackers.

I wish there was a choice of having pasteurised only.

I'm grateful for the offer they provided. I am sure that many people will disagree with me. It's not anything that Pong Cheese did or didn't do. It's purely personal taste. I just don't want to risk £29 a month on inedible cheese. That is a good price for a cheese subscription. So if you like most cheese and are not fussy, like a surprise. Then Pong Cheese is a good choice for you.
I'll stick to buying one by one.

I was disappointed to hear the order would be late as it was a birthday present. I did wonder if I ordered it a bit late.

Royal Mail are a disgrace.

Pong cheese is always excellent. I've been buying from you for some years.
I have now reregistered using a new email address after a problem recently with sending an order which refused my chosen delivery address.
I found it extremely difficult to contact you directly...instead very scrambled calls with technical support, which weren't that helpful. Going round and round in circles. Not satisfactory at all. I reordered directly anď finally was successful. Support was not helpful at all.

The cheese is really nice and pretty good value. I’ve had a subscription and bought gift subscriptions for two friends’ birthdays. Great customer service too: on on occasion I’ve had to get in touch, issue sorted quickly and pleasantly. Fully recommended.

As subscribers to the cheese club, receiving regular deliveries of Pong's cheese we can thoroughly recommend them. The cheeses are always interesting and delicious and the service is friendly and helpful.

Set up a subscription. Found out the hard way that when you pay more you can’t select a ‘no goats cheese’ option. Rectified and waited for the next box- Contained 4 cheeses- 2 of which were goats cheese! £22 for effectively 2 cheeses that I can eat. Complained. They apologised and sent out 2 replacement cheese. Guess what! More goats cheese!!! I am gobsmacked that in a day and age that food labelling and allergies is so prominent in the news that a company can have such disregard for someone’s food preferences. I have cancelled the subscription and warn others before you waste your money.
