Good selection, but mixed quality.
The 2 times I've ordered from PlayTech-Asia, I've gotten all the anime I ordered no problems. But there have been technical issues with all of the series so far.
I tried to review them on their website, but they seem to block your reviews unless you give them 4-5 stars (to make their products look better). Since they are blocking my reviews, I'll post my findings here hoping they will help someone else. I primarily watch series with original language and English subtitles, so some of my critism comes from there.
Eminence in The Shadows - Seasons 1 & 2 (4 out of 5 Stars):
Mostly good quality wise. The main problem is when multiple people are talking, they don't separate the subtitles, they mash them all together. This can make things rather confusing when they rapid fire multiple conversations at once.
Kuroko's Basketball - All Seasons (3 out of 5 Stars:
It started out fairly good quality for the first 2 discs, but when you get to disc 3 (which has some of the exciting finals tournament episodes) their menu is broken in the language section. They accidentally duplicated 2 of their menus so trying to change language or turn on subtitles isn't available (it loads episode selection twice instead). It is frustrating because unless you can speak Japanese, you are completely out of luck for all of disc 3's episodes.
Food Wars - All Seasons (4 out of 5 Stars):
Mostly good quality wise so far. They do a good job with the spoken subtitles, but they removed all of the other subtitles that translate written text on the screen, so you sometimes miss context or funny subtext.
Problem with disc 2 - episode 35 (first Stagiare episode). After the episode ends, the screen goes black and it freezes. You to go back to the main menu episode selection to continue onto episode 36 manually.
Summary:
Most of their anime is watchable, but I've found problems with every series I've purchased so far. As I watch other series purchased from PlayTech-Asia, I'll try to update my review.
