I'm in England and it gave me a passport photo code for Republic of Ireland - useless and that's £10 down the pan!

They should really make the Ts&Cs much clearer, YOUR PHOTOS ARE DELETED AFTER 30 DAYS AND NOT VALID!!!!!

Not a service I would use again if I can find an alternative. I needed photos to re-apply for my bus pass, apply for a senior railcard and apply for a passport again at some point. I didn’t expect to have to make all the applications immediately. My appearance doesn’t change much over the course of a year or two. So I successfully used the photos to get my bus pass but have just tried to use them for a senior railcard and the code doesn’t work. I emailed the the call centre who directed me to a troubleshooting website. Turns out they only store the photos for 30 days. Considering how often we need passport photos for various purposes I this is rotten value and I’ll look for a better service.

Took photos for my drivers license. The booth said they met the standards. After over 2 weeks I got my application back from dvla saying the photo didnt meet the standards after all. £10 spent on useless images, £4 extra postage to send new photos, and over 2 weeks extra time to get my provisional license and I dont have a lot of time to sort my license.

Wanted a digital photo for driving license. Couldn't download to use photo. Ended up taking photo of photo with phone and using that. No proper help on website. Impossible to contact the company for support.

Very disappointed.

The digital photo cannot download, and the photo booth didnt mention well its "only" can use for UK passport.

And this company even not thinking about to improve the service.

Waste time and money.

Used the Photo Me booth in the Glades Bromley. Brilliant photos passport sized and £10 versus up to £20 for Max Spielman where I found, in a Tesco, a complete lack of clear instructions and no information as the size of the different versions they offered, which was why I looked elsewhere.

I went and got photo and code for my passport. Got home went online to renew it and once I'd submitted the photo code the photo came up so I agreed it was me and to the term and con etc then it said the photo wasn't acceptable, I was either too close or too far away. Went back payed another tenner, got home etc.. and the same thing happened. So that's £20, 40 miles worth of diesel and 3 hours of my life wasted that I'll not get back.

Complete rip off - I needed photos for a travel pass and planned to use them also for my passport. Apparently due to GDPR they can't keep them any longer than 30 days. Should put this in BOLD LETTERS on the actual photo so people know rather than tiny lettering. Will try to now take a photo of the photos that I already paid for!

Absolute con. The booth says your photos are retrievable using the code they give you. They are not. Needed the photos for a visa application but the photos are ony available on the DVLA or Passport office application sites. Waste of a tenner. Zero customer service. Unfathomable website. Please read the reviews before you buy. I wish I had.

Despite stating that a digital photo is provided it is not. All that is provided is a code for UK passports application. Useless if applying for a Visa for a different country. Waste of money.

What a con;
the information they provide at the booth leads you to believe that your images will be available online but in reality your images are only made available to the passport office or DVLA.

Today I went to the Photo-Me booth in Sainsburys, Lee Green, for passport photos. The quality was unacceptable as one side of my face was lit up. I should have given up then, but I tried again. Same thing happened despite my having checked that the curtain was fully shut. Having wasted £20, I have now applied for a refund. The post office across the road confirmed that neither sets would be acceptable to the Passport Office.

Photo-Me need to check their booths regularly to make sure this does not happen.

I used a booth to have my child's photo taken for a passport renewal. Her mother couldn't find her passport for some time so it took a while before I could apply for our child's passport because you need each parents' passport number. When I did get to apply when her mother had found the needed information, it didn't work because the photo's had been deleted from the Photo-me website. It turns out the photo's get deleted after 30 days for legal reasons and I had agreed to this in their terms and conditions when we took the photos. I feel this should be made absolutely clear and it was not. It was a total waste of time and money. Like I am going to read through terms and conditions when my kid is wriggling around in the photo booth. Because the booth took so incredibly long (like ten minutes or so) to take the photos, it was a miracle we managed to take the photo's at all! Not in the least impressed.

Code Expires after 30 days. Not detailed on the machine or photos produced.

Total waste of money. Photo booth said my photo was acceptable but the passport office rejected it because of the background was similar to the image. You cannot download your own photo to use in other applications at all.

I’ve tried two different photo booths from this company in central London in the last couple of weeks. Neither was working so as to accept payment for my photos. Pointless service & company.

Website states that you can get photos for renewing your driving licence, however there are no downloadable photos. It states that the photos must be used within a month and when questioned was told I could use the printed photo. How would anyone know that the photo had been taken more than a month ago. Website totally misleading and not made clear upon purchase in booth.

I honestly regret using this photo booth service. The quality of the photo was absolutely awful, and it didn't look anything like me. It's hard to believe that this is the same kind of service that existed 10 years ago - back then, the photos were at least decent.

At £10 per photo, I expected much more than this. What a rip-off! If I had checked the reviews before, I would have known to steer clear. Don’t waste your money on this. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
