I paid £4,500 for this company to liquidate my business . 9 months later no progress has been made .Avoid this company . David Darrell takes your money and does nothing .
Calls and messages are being ignored .Iam now having this investigated as this is fraud .

We paid our fee for this company to act upon our behalf through our liquidation process. 18 months on and our "advisor" David has done absolutely NOTHING regarding our liquidation! We have transferred to another company!!

David - AND the company director does not respond to phone calls, messages or complaints! Highly incompetent!
Going throught a company liquidation is stressful and this company only added to the stress, they might aswell have been one of the debt collectors, given the amount of stress this company has caused us!

Save your money guys! Appalling company! Go with a different organisation!

I can't put a date of experience in the box below, because it does not allow me to go back 18 MONTHS on the calendar given below!

Phoenix business is the appointed liquidator of Root Home Product Ltd T/A Crane Cookware, who I previously licensed cookware designs to. Root Home Product Ltd sold my designs without my permission to another company, who I subsequently reached out of court settlement with.

The sale of my IP was misrepresented by Miss Ponnuthurai, the sole director of Root Home Product Ltd, as she did not own the IP assets in question and therefore had no right to sell them. Ditto Phoenix Business who facilitated the sale without any proper due diligence or oversight. Potentially Miss Ponnuthurai and or Phoenix business both benefited from the sale of my designs, the proceeds of which lawfully belong to myself.

I have attempted on numerous occasions to contact Phoenix Business and Miss Ponnuthurai for clarification, however neither of them has responded, which potentially constitutes fraud.

I have now instigated legal proceedings against both parties.

Don't touch this company with a bargepole.

I’ve instructed Phoenix Business solutions to act on my behalf as appointed liquidators on 6th September 2022 for my company Nightwish haulage limited. I paid the sum of £3,600.00. During this process, I was dealing with someone called David. David was issuing paperwork to me that had constant errors. This can be anything from your address not been correct, spelling mistakes through the court paper work, which had to be sent back and forth via email over many months. I was fed constant lies from this person saying we had court dates and someone called Ann was in court and dealing with it and I was never sent the links for the court case. When it got to the court date it never happened I was told it was being dealt with by the IT team then it had been adjourned and postponed and another court date had to be set. Every time I check the gazette, my company was never listed and appeared on the schedule Which I questioned on multiple occasions. I even wrote to Medway County Court and Maidstone County Court and sent letters to them via Royal Mail proof of delivery to find out if they have any information regarding my company And if I had any court cases listed which they replied, no they don’t know anything about it. I then contacted the High Court at rolls building in London and gave them certain details and they said no court case was listed at the time. David then got back in touch after more excuses and when a court date was finally set it never happened then I found out their payment had failed and they missed a deadline and more excuses about they lost there fees by submitting it late. This company is quick enough to take your money and it’s very unprofessional and should be struck off the Appointed liquidators list. David from Phoenix Business solutions has failed to respond to any phone calls voicemails emails and texts to date now. I’ve also sent a letter recorded delivery to the old address and then new address which I have had no response to. I am going to start court proceedings now against this individual via the small claims court. I highly recommend you do not take the cheap option to liquidate your company. On their website it looked and sounded very professional and I assumed it was quite a big organisation with a lot of individuals working there but it just seems to be a front and a scam and a One man band working from his bedroom. I’m also inclined to contact the police now as this is fraud.

We paid this company just under £5000 and after several months David told us his employee forgotten to process the case and my husband's company had not even started to be Liquidated . All documents contained errors and spelling errors. He now does not answer phone calls or messages. I am sure we have been scammed. After several months my husband's company is still in exactly the same position with nothing done. After posting this review David finally got back to us and processed a refund.
I am afraid I would NOT recommend this company to anyone as having to decide to go through your company insolvency is stressful enough and situation like this makes the whole process even more painful.

I have been using Phoenix Business for almost a year and find their personalised and tailored services exceptionally helpful. They provide dedicated services and are always available to answer questions within 24 hours. They are also very helpful in seeing clear implications of any decisions taken due to changing personal circumstances. I highly recommend them to any startups which is their sweet spot.

I entrusted this company with £9000, expecting professional assistance in initiating the liquidation process for Two companies. However, despite considerable time passing, there has been no progress made. Instead, I have been subjected to a barrage of excuses from David, each more implausible than the last.

Initially, David was promising with prompt action and providing daily updates. However, after payment his communication dwindled, and attempts to contact him were met with silence.

Furthermore, the London address listed on his website (Fergusson House 124-128 City Road London EC1V 2NX) is a facade, merely a virtual office with no tangible presence. This discovery casts serious doubt on the legitimacy of his operations. All purported 'offices' on both websites lead to the same dead-end: an unanswered phone or David's mobile.

It is clear that David lacks the necessary insolvency practitioner license, yet he shamelessly preys on vulnerable business owners in their time of need.

His actions amount to fraud.

It's easy for a company to put their own good reviews on Trust Pilot but nobody writes there own bad ones!

Watching my successful business being progressively destroyed by Brexit, Covid, and Putin, has been extremely stressful. A large part of retaining my sanity and optimism of better things to come is from working with David over several months as he has guided and mentored us through the worst of our strange new reality.

I have absolute confidence in recommending David's services and support to anyone in this situation. He has always been accessible, proactive, attentive and very professional at all times.

The negative reviews here are so bizarre - I mean you could expect perhaps a 4 or even 3 star if there were a few bumps in the road, but 1star?!?! My advice is ignore them, use this guy - and get your life back!

I started my company back in 2006 and we were flying high up until COVID19 hit
My company got into financial distress from covid and had to take out loans to survive but these just were plasters covering an open wound
I thought i knew a bit about insolvency and called some companies who where advertising on the net and they all were just salesmen and just gave me the impression of what's in it for them .....
Then i contacted Phoenix and spoke to David
The first impressions was good as he asked me to send accounts over where he came back to me in 2 days telling me all about my business that even my accountant didn't know
we then made an appointment at my home office and met David and chewed the cud about the business and where we wanted to be and what he could do for us
i know that David is an ex licenced liquidator and that makes him a very powerful tool in this sector as we have learnt that there are some quite strange rules and procedures that this liquidation industry tend to play on as lets face it the liquidators or administrators are not doing it for the love of it
With Phoenix we developed a strategy to move forward and all seemed very straight forward and David made most of it very easy
To be honest i did have a few thoughts that it was to easy so i asked a financial industry friend to double check our progress with the liquidation and he confirmed we were 100% on the right track with even him saying he didn't even think of half of what David was doing to make our future of being directors more comfortable
Finally we got our house into order and went into liquidation (which isn't nice for either directors or customers ) and Phoenix was there all the way to help answer questions and to advise on procedures
All in all i would definitely 100% employ David again and highly recommend his services through Phoenix business
It baffles me how there's bad reviews on here about David and Phoenix as my experience is just not at all like the others ....but this insolvency business is very much a sticks and stones industry as there's that all evil item involved called MONEY

What can I say....Phoenix Business Solutions is a total scam! Been nearly a year since we instructed David - and nothing - not a court date, no help at all. Cannot get hold of him, not answering the phone, emails etc. We paid £3000 and now nothing!!!

It is all a mess!

This company takes your money then they do nothing that they promised and just leave you with a load of mess. David is very difficult to get hold of, and when you do it's one excuse after the other. My staff have now missed out on the 6 month deadline for claiming redundancy all because of this man!! Beware!!

We are owed money from a company that Phoenix - Business is dealing with, they were supposed to be winding them up from 24th Jan 2023, as of yet, its not even been started.

This company lies & lies, does not get back to us when they say they will do and even try to tell us they have court dates to wind RT Dezigns Ltd up, but when I check with the High Court, this is not the case.

They now refuse to answer any email or phone call... But I guess I am going to hope that they have taken RT Dezigns Ltd for a few thousand pounds now, if what is said in the review bellow is correct.

i paid this company just under £5000 and after several months david told me on a weekly basis several random excuses and my company had not even started to be Liquidated . he now does not answer phone calls or messages i am fairly sure im have been scammed .. when he was chasing my payment he messaged and called me daily . after several months my company is still in exactly the same position with nothing done . my next call will be to the police ..... if you phone any of the numbers no matter which city or branch they all go to answer machine with the exact same voice mail ..
