I ordered from them as it looks like a UK site - local contact details etc and seemed legitimate. It's taken them 10d to confirm my battery has shipped and estimate up to 22d shipping for a battery I could have got delivered Next Day. Passing this to PayPal to sort out.

I ordered before I saw all the negative reviews. I too thought this was a UK site, which it isn't. However my experience is somewhat better than the other posts before me. My product did arrive, a HP Laptop Battery which they claim is an original HP branded and to be honest, it looks it, the print is perfect, it bears the HP name and overall seems to be excellent quality, I have no reason to doubt this claim. I installed the battery today and it still had 89% charge and appears to be working fine. Delivery was very slow, it took about 22 days and the communication was average since they ignored my first email, but did happily respond to my second. I would like to give the review four star instead of three, however since the delivery was slow (from China) and communication was also slow I've opted for a three star rating. Its a shame the only reviews on here are all negative and I wondered if anyone else had a similar experience to me, whom received their product and all is fine.

I've now been using the battery for a few weeks and it charges to 100% just fine, it lasts a good three and half hours from a full charge which is about right from when I had the laptop new. It doesn't get hot, even when my laptop is plugged in and on for hours. I'm a heavy laptop user, my laptop is used for my own business (web design). My conclusion is: My battery appears to be genuine and works perfectly, perhaps I'm just lucky compared to others, but in light of my experience overall I can't complain. Just wished they were upfront and declared they were not in the UK, as I probably would not have purchased from them. Like many others, I prefer to use a UK based company for speedy delivery and product reassurance.

I purchased what I thought was a genuine HP battery from this "UK" company to find out they are based in China and delivery time has been over 5 weeks!. DO NOT USE!!!!!

Support is non existent

Bought a laptop power supply which lasted about two weeks before dying, still had no joy from Customer services after a full 25 days of hassling them. Do not use this company!!

Ordered a power supply on the presence of 24hr dispatch. After 48hrs contacted customer support to ask it’s whereabouts but got no response. After 4 days I contacted them again stating that I wanted to cancel the order, once again no response. After 5 days received an email saying that it had been dispatched and should be delivered in 10 days!

An absolute terrible company. Avoid at all costs

I ordered a MacBook charger which took nearly two weeks to arrive. The first use it charged about 20% then burned out. In fact it nearly singed my fingers as well. Not sending it back because I don't want another one from them.

I agree with the other reviews, avoid at all costs. Selling the idea of a UK company which they are not. I ordered a battery which took 5 weeks to deliver (the slow ship from China!) , had messages saying Hermes was to deliver but clearly hadn't reached them in the UK. Battery did arrive but lasts all of 5 mins after a full charge, this is calearly a knock-off Lenovo cheap battery and I suspect I'll not see my money again even thought bought via PayPal!

Otherwise laptopartsstore.co.uk. Looks like a uk site, had an English address. Placed order for MacBook charger. 4 days later no updates. Tries to cancel. No way of doing it on the web site. Contacted them via website asked them to cancel order and refund my PayPal payment. No reply. Only when I raised a dispute via PayPal did they contact me telling me 'o we'll try and stop it at the post office' a day after they'd given it over to Hermes (if you believe the tracking info) They sent it out 3 days after I asked them to cancel. Arrived 12 days after placing the order. It stated that it was manufactured by Apple. It isn't. Now of course they won't respond to my emails or via the website. I'm waiting for the dispute on 'non arrival' (only way I could get something going with Paypal) to be resolved but not sure how that will pan out. There are multiple accounts of this lot and interaction with Paypal not being great but still they have a relationship. Company name doesn't exist on Companies House.

I placed an order for a laptop battery - it never came. I thought it was a UK company as they've designed the website to look like it is.
When I chased a delivery date as the item didn't come in the expected timescale, they gave me a shipping code for the 17Track app - indicating it was being delivered by Hermes. The app just permanently says 'In transit to Hermes'. There have been no updates.
They then stopped replying to my emails. But their emails didn't always make sense, saying I should contact the Post Office - but why would I if they were using Hermes.
I made them aware I was going to report their website to UK authorities - they have in last couple of days added a China address to their website in the Contact Us section.
When I checked my bank statement the transaction is displayed with 'Paypal' at the beginning - the payment did not go through Paypal but direct to them. I even double checked with Paypal. Their website suggests the payment goes through Paypal - it does not.
I have raised the issue with my bank for help.
Perhaps they thought I would just give up in the end.
