I have previously used Paybright before to finance a tv purchase. I now want to use it to make a new laptop purchase, but it tells me it cannot confirm my account. When I call and finally get through to customer service after nearly an hour and give my phone number, I am told that the account is associated with a different name and that the account holder must confirm any changes. I am the account holder, I have had this phone number for 14 years, longer than paybright has been a company, live alone. I have emails to prove the account is mine from my past purchase. So they just let some scammer change my account at some point? Now locked out. Supposedly someone is going to call me back (couldn't just get transferred, god forbid), but the person I spoke with was quite rude.

Since I started trying to make this payment the delivery date for the laptop has already changed by a week. They no longer monitor emails (which is absolutely insane), and their website contact form is broken, you cannot submit anything. This company does not want customers to contact them. Even if I do get access to my account resolved, how can I trust this account not to allow scammers to make purchases on my credit?

edit: I emailed you last week, no one emailed me back. I have called 3 times. The most recent call I am now told it will take 10 BUSINESS DAYS for this "investigation". What is there to investigate? I can send all related information to my phone number to you, except that no one has emailed me to receive any. Absolutely horrible company with horrible customer service, your one star will not be changed.

Attempted to use pay bright twice through different merchants. Both orders did not go through. Spent too long on the phone and chat and email trying to resolve issues.

Well this is the first time I have used Paybright! I found it very easy to use and follow, and the process did not take long at all. I also received help from someone (human) after initially getting a computer to talk to and they stayed o like e in the purchase process which made my time seem worth something, which is a nice change to see! Once I have paid for my smart watch I will see if they can help with some Samsung ear buds!

Received a payment didnt go through request from Paybright with my friend/coworker as the "name on file". When I called Paybright to figure out what happened they said as you aren't the account holder we cant help you. Wouldn't confirm if the email address has his or my name in it (all of both of ours do), what they were attempting to charge, really any info.

Getting stonewalled by a financial institution that may or may not be acting on my Credit Score or against my bank accounts is not ok

At a time when I couldn't afford to put out all the money for a decent tablet for my son , PayBright was great help for me .. I fully recommend this service , but as everything don't get in over your head and keep your head above water and eventually you will make it back to dry land . Thanks PayBright I appreciate the help when I needed it most .
