It is not useful to see how others…
It is not useful to see how others answered. It should also give the option to answer blocks of 20, 30 questions as a lot of people uses this on breaks while at work. The app features should be optimized as well

Like the content but passmed is just so much nicer. Need to update and make it look better, colour code and bars like pass med. pass test is just so ugly that’s why everyone is moving to passmed it’s just easier to use

Needs to be able to split by condition
Pastest is good. The only problem is that you can’t separate questions by condition e.g i couldn’t only do questions on IgA Nephropathy, i would have to do a mix of all renal conditions. This is not an experience I have had with other platforms. EDIT: following a response from pastest i have tried to split by condition and this still isn't available, and the questions aren't mapped to the MLA topics e.g searching for acid base abnormalities or acute bronchitis yields no results. I wonder if may be I am navigating it wrong.

Good MSRA resource
I used this most recently for the MSRA in 2024. Found it to be a good resource and I liked the app. I did have some issues with the app though (since addressed) - I initially got this in 2023 when it was the only one saying that you can download questions for offline use but the app didn't work offline (logged you out and so then you can't log in and access the downloaded questions) but I believe they updated the app to fix this issue after raising it. Also some issues with crashing and not reloading the questions at the same point. I liked the explanations and found these to be useful. I then took a year out and redid the MSRA in 2025, using PassMedicine instead. I found the questions from PassMedicine to be more similar for the Clinical questions (Pastest still good and useful though, with I think more spread of questions from what I can remember) and Pastest to be a lot better for the Situational Judgement. I would use it again in combination with other resources and first used it for revision in medical school, provided by the library, which I think more hospital trusts should support.

Past papers not representative . Question bank thorough but not representative
I found the question bank and ‘past papers’ not very representative of the actual exam. The question bank heavily focused on very rare conditions, which was not the case in the exam, and the ‘past papers’ were similar on the topics in the exams but in the exam the focus was on management of complex versions of stuff you meet frequently and Pastest question bank was concentrated on rare stuff. The ‘past papers’ were very straightforward in pastest with the way it was written giving clues to the answer . In the exam you really had to think within just as little time , so I didn’t find it prepared me very well. I haven’t got the result yet so I don’t know how I did - I hope I passed but no idea yet. Pastest was better in years past .

Our question bank and past papers are built around remembered themes and insights shared by candidates after each exam sitting. While we aim to reflect a wide range of topics and exam styles, the MRCP Part 2 Written can vary from exam to exam — with some papers leaning more toward common presentations and others focusing on more complex or rare conditions. Unfortunately, that makes it difficult to predict the exact balance each time.

Wonderfully crafted material focussed to the point for exam with superb clarity. I would want to create a 5 second or 10 second rewind option becoz everytime I don't understand I need to rewind 30 seconds. Also some language is difficult to understand... So it's better to have a subtitle for the videos

When it comes to GP AKT
When it comes to GP AKT, unfortunately I did not enjoy the Bank at all. It was more like MRCP question, explanations were not easy to follow. There was only 8 podcasts. There were no past papers to practice. For mrcp there used to me 10 plus past papers reflecting past years to practice before the exam included with the bank. The question were not targeted to GP AKT but more sort of medicine MRCP exam. I have used passtest for medical school, mrcp and mrsa I loved these banks. But for GPAKT I have to say I didn't enjoy the bank due to above reasons

We completely understand your concerns, particularly around the style of the questions and explanations, and the number of supporting resources like podcasts. The AKT is a unique exam, and we’re actively working on refining our content to better reflect the format, topics, and style expected by GP trainees.
Just to clarify, we don’t currently state that past papers are included as part of the AKT subscription—but we appreciate how helpful this format can be, and it’s something we're actively exploring as a possible future addition.

I passed my MRCS part A first time and Pastest helped.
It works. After 20 years out of practice I passed the exam first time using primarily Pastest (and anatomy videos on another site) and a book Pastest recommended on a blog post. I used their questions, did 200 a day and based further studying around what I got wrong. Most of my extra studying was on other websites, not on the Pastest site, though I liked and used a bit the micro-learning for when I only had a moment, but it's with the questions that Pastest excels. The questions are about right in type and level; there are lots, and I feel it was reasonably priced.
Their subscription options are sometimes a little irritating, eg. you're preparing for an exam 4 months away, and you can buy 3 months or 6 months access only. But it works, and that's what counts.

I like the question banks
I like the question banks. however the app keep on self log out which troubles me while I’m doing my test.

PASTEST IS MUST FOR PACES
I have been using PASTEST through my entire MRCP journey. PACES subscription videos are very good. Pastest should definitely be in your study strategy in order to pass PACES with flying colors. Thank you Pastest team for the study package .It was very apt, informative and excellent subscription.
